My new favorite resto series. I can only agree: it takes loads of time to do stuff, especially if you want it to be "tüchtig" and not some average mechanic shop quick work. It does get a lot smoother if you have the right tools for everything, not even talking about a mighty sand blasting cabinet, dear lord i want one so bad. It's even more time (and money) to send stuff to the sandblaster or pearlblaster, then to powdercoat; bolts and bits to have them plated (to the right colour of course), also if you want to reuse all the screws you can, so it looks original. The worst are maybe the "dichtungen", lot of stuff are unobtainium or the aftermarket stuff just doesn't fit. Time, time, time.. Greetings from a Datsun restorer in Hungary.
If it ain't broken, it's probably broken you just haven't looked at it... Had a bunch of those moments on this project. Or on any project where one wants to "not overdo it".
I really enjoy your videos. Loving the 205 series.
The work, the style, the effort. Every video gets a thumbs up from me. We need some merchandise to support the channel!
I have watched this video at least 5 times before in the past year. Just enjoyed it again, its just the best!

I find it very relaxing to watch all these disassembly videos. Keep up the great episodes!
It never goes smoothly, at least in my experience. I have not been blessed by the car fixing gods.
