Today, I am going to rank every Red Dead Redemption 2 in a tierlist, starting from the worst chapters, and going all the way to the best chapters.
This is just my opinion, so put yours in the comments and let's debate! - เกม
Mollys death was one of the most important in the game from a plot perspective with it being a real display of how far the gang and Dutch had fallen. Exposing both Dutches paranoia and the dangerously blind loyalty of those who justify it. It shows the factions within the gang perfectly and HAD to happen.
I disagree on Kieran's death for sure. I bonded with that man fast - it was the way he was quite happy to take care of the horses, as a horseman myself, I have a great respect for that. He was a good kid. I'd bump his death up a couple tiers for sure.
Hosea's death hit me like a ton of bricks, to be honest with you. He was the character I very much connected to as one of Arthur's parental figures, and the more Dutch slipped away from the ideal I'd been presented of him at the start of the game, the more I came to love and respect Hosea. If you'll excuse me being sappy, losing Kieran, then Lenny, then Hosea, in such quick succession sucked the life and soul out of the gang for me. I stopped going back to camp as often, and started drifting off to do my own thing, because I had few reasons to want to go back to camp anymore (I still loved Charles, but I knew he was more than capable of taking care of business on his own, and would easily slip away from the gang and back to his tribe when he decided he'd had enough, and I knew Sadie was tough as old boots and didn't need my help anymore!). By that point, I was totally done with Dutch, and had been for a while - and that stung a bit, because in a weird kind of way, I'd viewed Dutch and Hosea as almost like co-parents to Arthur, Dutch being the strict father who brooked no insubordination and encouraged taking risks, and Hosea being the encouraging father who made sure both Arthur and John learned their reading and arithmetic.
About Kieran - I didn´t bond with him, I took him for granted. He was always around when I did chores (actually only him, Charles, me and girls did something;)). Every morning in Shady Belle I stood with coffe and cigarette on his side, before I started working. The one morning he wasn´t there and I was "oh, sh*t, no". When he died, I killed lot of O´Driscolls on my venegance mission (it takes few weeks in game and also real time)...
You missed one Arthurs horse 2nd second saddest death
I disagree on Leviticus Cornwall. I didn´t see him as someone I could really fight face to face. Dutch shoot him in such a whimsical way shocked me - it was so insane thing to do, midday, with all the enemies around... just insane. And I finally understood, things will go to hell in more unpleasant way than I could imagine before.
AGREE 100% his death was so intense and i didn’t see it coming. like it is broad daylight. god such an amazing powerful death that symbolizes so much more.
Arthur’s Horse 😭
Fuck, I'm crying again.

I don't like the critisism of "You have to go on an assault" to me that's the best part of the deaths, you don't have time to process it, it is what makes them realistic, they don't like like high and mighty guys with so sad deaths that the whole game pauses for the characters to cry, it all goes so fast in the heat of battle that you have to momentarily forget that it happend to get out alive yourself
Yeah but because of how they are realistic it takes away from the actual death imo. The deaths still are fine, but something like Lenny’s where there’s not an assault right after but there’s a little bit of down time to actually process it makes it so much better.
@@RedDeadTierListswell it is a realisticish game
@@RedDeadTierListsSean's death being that low really bugs me. It being followed up by an attack doesn't change how sudden and impactful a death is if that's your criteria then Jeremiah compsons death means more than sean
I got Micah's, Arthur's, Lenny's and Hosea's death spoiled for me on my first playthrough (I hadn't/still haven't played the first game so idk who dies then, and I didn't know Arthur wasn't in it). But they still hit me emotionally, and Lenny's shocked me the most because it was during gameplay and not a cutscene. Thanks for the ranking, since I finished the game yesterday I've been watching all your rankings
Thank you for watching!
@@RedDeadTierLists Why did you get rid of the red dead redemption one locations ranking video man!? I love that one!
Play the first game, just play it,sell your soul if is necesary, trust me,will worth it,and yeah, don't search nothing, because there's a certain moment that sure as shit you'll find just by searching Red Dead Redemption on TH-cam,Google etc.
@LavaGun-vc2vf Actually, they must be wearing plot armor which must’ve rusted right after they shot lenny.
I got literally everyone's death spoiled for me
When Lenny died I honestly thought I failed the mission because it was in actual gameplay and not a cutscene which is why it is so shocking to me
grimshaw's death tells a lot about dutch, that he doesn't care about loyalty or time or anything, just money and people who obey him at that time
You’re right, but that’s kind of shown throughout Chapter 6
Wrong, the main thing he cares about is loyalty.
@@pnwfisher2144 that's what he says, but he doesn't act like it
I agree with a lot of these, but I wouldn’t particularly say the bottom tier deaths are “bad, boring, meaningless” as realistic as the rdr2 world is it makes sense that a lot of deaths are off screen and just mentioned, or simply out of the players control, and these tactics really helped elevate the sheer devastation this gang was headed to. Like Mollys death, you describe her death as “no one cares” and while yeah I didn’t care too much for Molly it’s the scene itself that Carrie’s the weight. When Grimshaw shot her, me as the gamer couldn’t tell if Dutch was gonna grieve her death, maybe not get mad a Grimshaw but at least show some sadness but when he told Arthur “she knew the rules” it showed me as a player that despite Dutch “loving” his gang members aka his “love” for Molly it didn’t matter. He could just as easily dispatch you as taking you in like Sadie. I think it is hard to make a Tier list from a game that was pretty much perfect, and to describe the lower tier list events and characters as boring and meaningless is kinda redundant.
Molly’s death is definitely overshadowed by Milton’s last words about her, but it’s still solid in the moment
I agree with you on that. Honestly, I think every death in the game is meaningful not just in the death of a character itself, but how it reflects on the main characters of the story. Every death is significant in some way, even the minor characters deaths. It either further reinforces the world around the main characters, or it reinforces the main characters story arcs themselves. We get to see who these characters really are as they respond to the deaths of others.
I was VERY late to the RDR2 party; I was well spoiled as to what was going to happen to Arthur. I genuinely didn't think it would upset me, he's just another video game character, but when I got to that part of the playthrough where he takes his last ride, and that song started playing, OMG, I wasn't ready at all, I cried like a baby
My 1st play through Arthur died with max honor and when I saw the “extreme personality achievement” I knew I made the right choice
Man you were really quick to write off every death you didn't get to do as bad despite all of them having some level of narrative significance. Or you just completely ignored the story. Cornwall for example: if you actually listened to Arthur's in game lines you know he literally thought killing Cornwall was a terrible idea, his death is showing how unhinged Dutch has become. Kieran's death is beautifully shot, and literally based on a the real legend of a saint. Etc
Hosea's should be higher. He was like a father to Arthur and although it had to happen it was shocking and so sad. His death marked the beginning of the end for the gang and the beginning of a downward spiral for Dutch as he didn't have Hosea to temper his worst impulses. He should have been number 6 at least.
6:32 : The guys that ambushed you in Rhodes aren't Lemoyne raiders, actually, they don't really appear in the main story except for that 1 mission with Sadie at the start of chapter 3. Those guys were from the gray family, them and the Braithwaites realized what was happening and decided to put their feud aside and fight the gang who was trying to rob them blind. While the Grays ambush the gang in Rhodes the Braithwaites arrive at camp, we don't really know what they intended but we know that they kidnapped Jack.
He said "Lemoyne Rednecks" not "Lemoyne Raiders"
He didn’t know or he just meant that the grays are still lemoyne and they are still hillbillies
he said lemoyne rednecks, not raiders
I still think that when Catherine ran back into the burning house john should've shot her on the steps. It would've showed johns anger and how when he's mad he is killing machine without thought.
Your videos are the easiest way to explain to people what game I am making videos for - If I showed them mine there's just innocent NPCs dying epically but it does give a bad first impression and has killed some personal business opportunities for me - but hearing you logically ponder and debate every little aspect of so so so many characters really gives outsiders the impression needed to understand how complex the characters and story is. And its not a forced story - most dumb dumbs don't give two thoughts about what you fluidly expound on - but I bet even they do once you give it your trademark perspective. I don't watch other channels - I just care about myself - but g'damit if discovering this channel has not only zoned me in, but It has made me double down on not clicking on anyone else's videos in the future - I lose focus easily and these are so good I've been looping them and listening to them with my phone placed under my pillow to fall asleep the last few days. its hard to turn off my my adderoll fueled brain, but this and a random ass channel that analyzes romance of the three kingdoms (nowhere near as good as you analyze this) just puts me in a relaxation zone of interest but -- it helps me loose focus and shut my brain off
You're underrated as hell keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Miss grimshaw was quite sad considering she stood with Arthur or the actual gang and not Dutch, micah and the ones loyal to Dutch who aren’t bad just loyal to their father figure who saved them
50% of this video is like "this is not a main character, so I don’t care/like them. Bad death"
Sadly yeah. His videos tend to be like that. He will be ranking missions and just be like “just boring gun fighting and horse riding” yeah dude you gotta enjoy those 2 aspects because that’s literally what red dead 2s gameplay is at core and that’s what ANY western style game or movie will be.
I got a tiny bit spoiled with many of the deaths in this game when I first played it in early 2021 but when I first played this game Kieran’s death was DEFINITELY unexpected, I mean I didn’t even think he was dead at first!
You thought he was just chilling without a head?
My god we had the same exact experience, I unfortunately got spoiled of the story too. I knew almost everything, but now Kieran's death, it was the most unexpected thing ever.
My brother has played the game before me and he was the one who got me into it and he accidentally let slip that Lenny, and Kieran died so the most shocking for me was Sean because he said he was in the epilogue after I told him he was my favorite character
@@ActuallyLucasXD It was just a little interesting, seeing his body still on a horse.
@@joeboah6040 Yeah, I got spoiled that Arthur would die, Micah would be the bad guy, and in the first game, I learned that John would die, but I didn’t know how when I first played the game so that was nice.
I think that Sean’s is at least A
Colms death was by far the best, someone powerful enough to rival Dutch for years, and in his final moments you see fear setting in his eyes, his breaths become heavy, and starts looking around panicked, incredible acting
I'm new to your vids and i love them but can u rank all weapons like the lemat revolver and evans repeater etc.
You should definitely rank the saloons in rdr2
Congratulations on 1000 subs man
Thank you!
Except Hosea that was actually kind of sad
Congrats on 1K 👏👏👏
Thank you!! 😁
you came back for revenge on the last mission, believing you could kill Micha, because you didn't listen to Blind Man Cassidy!
"Make your final moments your best moments, sir. Know glory and forget about shame."
"You must decide between your past and others' future, friend. Decide, for soon it will be too late."
I love ur vids bro I’m subbed
Thank you!

@@RedDeadTierListsDid you see the more recent mission comment I left on your stranger missions ranked video?
You forgot Sheriff Gray, isn't it?
… his death isn’t a death that really matters to the main plot a lot. No cut scene he just dies as an NPC.
Sean’s death deserves to be way higher. It sets the tone for the rest of the game. RIP S.M.
I've been watching a while and not been subscribed but now I did🎉
can you do tier list based on their:
- Morality
- Looks
?
Maybe. I’m going to be doing RDR1 and just all Red Dead games tier lists first
My top 3 would be Arthur, Micah, and Colm. Arthur for obvious reasons. Micah, because we get to actually kill him. Then Colm, just his facial expression from over confident to terrified when he realizes that no help is coming.
Also has anyone my friend Gavin? I was sleeping and then he just disappeared.
You and Gavin are one! You schizophrenic!
GAVIN? GAVIN? GAV?
Gavin! Gav! Gav!
Gavin's death : S tiers 💀
Interesting idea for a list 👍
Glad you think so!
interesting side not about not many people on Arthur's side in the stand off, all who would have taken his side are already dead or already left the gang
What was the outfit on arthur during arthurs death
Dutchs poetic demeanor and inflections really affected john
feel like they wouldn’t mention that Strauss didn’t say a word if they didn’t want us to think he had information to give
Yeah only thing I can think of is the stash of the Blackwater money
Low honor + help John ending deserves to be at the top too. It's such a cruel way to see Arthur go but it is fitting at the same time, plus it really does make you look forward to killing Micah a lot more because you truly hate how he disposes of Arthur and spits on him.
My honor was so high my last play thru they let me beat tf out of Micah on the last mission I had to actually let him hit me to be able to finish the mission
Man i remember saying after killing Micah for first time i said “what happened to colonel favors?”
Yeah favours could be even lower in this list tbh
@@RedDeadTierLists it took me till my second or third playthru that i figured out that was Colonel favors arthur shoots 🤣
I heavily disagree on Colonel Favours. The game gives you NUMEROUS reasons to hate him, whether it be his abuse of the natives and causing children to die of diseases or him attempting to have Monroe executed for being a good man. Him killing Eagle Flies is just the last straw.
Yeah, for what may be the main villain of red dead two, Cornwall just kinda, dies, but that doesn’t mean it’s not epic, just not as good for a main character
congrats on 1,000 subs from your 988th sub
Thank you
Lenny top 3 deaths, such a good character for the time he’s involved
You forgot to put my man Sherrif Grey in Rhodes
Lowkey irrelevant character
@@RedDeadTierListsexactly
In my opinion, there isn’t a good ending in RDR2. No matter what, Arthur would sacrifice himself for nothing, since inevitably, John would go after Micah, causing the Pinkertons to find him, and the events of RDR1 to take place.
If only every person who viewed would subscribe for you mate!
You forgot the biggest villain in rdr2
O’Driscoll 2
What
4:31 howd you know
Bro forgot out the legend Cain
bro however things Strauss is a good guy is going straight to hell
When Kieran died I shit my pants and cut my game off for like 4 days 😂
All my favorite characters lived Sadie Adler, charles and john only one that didn’t was Arthur
You should play red dead 1 next 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Arthur’s death wasn’t as poetic when it was raining and the last thing he saw was the end of micah’s revolver
In my opinion I have a lot of respect for Susan grimshaw for siding with Arthur
Cornwall's death was so bad
I didn't even know he died
I was just confused
thats exactly how arthur felt too, he didn’t understand why they needed to kill cornwall it was so unnecessary and useless
You didn’t even know? He gets shot close range in the vitals and collapses and dies. Onscreen. It’s pretty obvious.
Should rate every storry mission to celebrate 1k subs
I will
Top 6:
1. Arthur
2. Angelo Bronte
3. Colm O'Driscoll
4. Hosea
5. Eagly Flies
6. Leviticus Cornwall
I think just for the shock factor alone I would replace Colm with Sean
Micah?
Kieran’s death deserved top 5
I think Hoseas Rank can be higher
His death was for Dutch the Beginning from the End
If Hosea still alive mayby Dutch don't comming crazy.
Rank every main mission in red dead 2 stop the delaying the inevitable
Bro there are 100 missions gimme some time to make the video cmon
@@RedDeadTierLists that is why it’ll be the best
i liked most characters the same except for some you never have in missions like the girls except for sadie reverend isnt that good either imo his whiskey song was so annoying too but all the deaths hit me a little arthur and lenny more than the others due to lenny being my favorite side character and arthur ofc being the main one
His whiskey song is iconic
