Fun fact we also take a look at some new boss phases that i have never seen before! This will probably be the last cuphead video for a while but man i had so much fun with the game. You can try to beat every run and gun level without killing anything.The turlte in inkwell isle 3 will give you a special filter if you do it.

Fun fact that makes the plane levels a bit easier: talk to the flask guy (the grey bottle dude who taught you how to fly) in inkwell isle 2, and he'll give you a second weapon for your plane. Grenades! You can switch to them like normal weapons and they do more damage than the regular pellets, but they are slower and fall down.

little explanation for the question mark in the root pack after you didn’t attack ollie (or just the onion), since it’s supposedly a secret “phase”, like that phase in djimmis fight, it won’t really have a progress tracker, since it’s not considered a real boss, but it still points out you managed to find a little secret.

This isn't a secret or anything just a fun fact, but the devil's boss theme, "Admission to Perdition" is just a combination of all the boss themes
And if you beat all the run n' guns without killing, you get a new filter for being a pacifist

Tips: parry her spear in super art 3 ( ghostly barrage ), it gives you a free ex! Also, talk to canteen Hughes ( the plane guy who is the platform in howling aces ) to get a second plane weapon that launches down like lobber, but has a slower reload rate ( for chalice, it reloads faster but deals less damage per shot ). In world 3, talk to the fork to get a hint to another filter. Get an a- in most of the bosses then talk to the fork to get 2-strip mode along with a vintage audio filter. Talk in-between the 2 people in world 3 next to the robot fight to get a piano version of the world map theme track ( this isn't a filter like vintage mode so you need to talk to the guy closer to Sally stageplay to disable it and the other guy to enable it ). And beat all the run and guns without killing anyone ( yes, it's possible. I recommend smoke bomb and invincibility ) then talk to the turtle, also located in world 3, to get the black and white filter. This also gives a secret achievement and vintage mode. In djimmi the great, shrink when he goes from the sarcophagus to the puppet to gain an additional mini puppet in final phase ( which removes the regular puppet phase ) that shoots in 8 directions. Finally, in the howling aces fight, don't kill the pups. Instead, get them to 21% of their health ( you can see this when their smoke turns grey. A fully charged shot from charge and one peashooter shot is enough) to get the secret phase. It is the robot dog but instead of the upside down shit or the lasers, the pups lob pineapples at you ( some are pink ), but shoot the lady dog. Thats all!

44:10 it only counts victories as chalice, so if you did this boss with cuphead then yes you would need to re-do the fight as chalice
Surprisingly their is a few secret phases in the first Cuphead, hope you discover them!

I never realized the death progress bar shows a question mark because i haven't played cuphead in years, (i used to play on my younger cousins laptop with said cousin) and that was before i even knew any of this, not to mention i never saw anyone die on a secret phase before

for the dragon if you use Lobber it becomes really easy, and for the bird in the last phase of the bird you can switch to the bombs and directly hit down where it is
And thats how i beat the annoying dragon
I use Crackshot for his second phase and Charge for his first and third phase and it works really well not gonna lie
For Wally Warbles’s final phase it would really help to use the bomb weapon
Edit: Also in order to get an S you need to do perfectly on expert mode

There are also a couple filters you can unlock for the game too. There’s the black and white filter that you unlock for beating all of the Run & Gun stages pacifist (not hitting/killing any enemies) and talking to the turtle in world 3, and the two-strip filter for getting at least an A- on all main game stages. Also there are secret phases on Djimmi the Great and the DLC Dogfight Stage (forgot name, sorry). For Djimmi you need to be small plane mode for the transition to the puppet and for the dogfight you need to make all the puppies jetpack smoke without defeating any of them. (Also you can get a second plane weapon by talking to the canteen guy in world 2)

Here’s some advice, You can only get S-ranks on expert do you know now. Also if you used lobber on grim matchstick it makes him a breeze

if you don't attack the enemies in run and gun enemies you can get the P rank, aka the pacifist rank, how about you make a video about trying to achieve the P rank on all of the 6 run and gun levels?
Suggestion: if you already haven’t you should try the pacifist challenge where you have to beat every run and gun with out killing any enemies

Mike not knowing about the bomb ability for the plane most of the playthrough has both been amusing and infuriating

Go to the Options, then go to visual, and then go down to the thing that says "FILTER" then go right on it once or twice then you'll see a filter that says CHALICE so whenever you go in a level or boss fight, then Ms Chalice will look different.
Man, this is one heck of journey! It's been one great DLC that everyone has played!
heres something you probably didn't know yet. when your playing in 2 player mode, when ms chalice is revived she plays a different animation and even has a new voice
If you get an S rank, which is doing 3 parries, not taking any damage, using 6 super cards, and beating the boss within 2 minutes on expert mode on every boss in the main 3 isles plus inkwell hell, you get a secret achivement called, carpal tunnel, depression and sucidial thoughts!

If you shrink on the genie level right before the puppet , there's a secret section.
One thing that i love about the devil boss is... Cuphead and/or Mugman get scared when they see the devil's pupil, but if you have Ms Chalice, Cuphead is scared while in the portal. It's on of those things that makes you smile.
Another thing to do is try and find every boss special phase, it doesn't get you anything but it'd make a fun video

Theres also a secret phase in Djimmi's boss battle, if you shrink during his fourth phase (the puppet one) when he reads your mind youll be able to skip it (However it will make the last phase harder)
Did you know that of you spin around multiple time you can summon Djimmy and he’ll give you infinite wishes/ 9 lives if you have DLC and 7 lives if you only have the normal game.

The cool thing is about that skin you can wear it even if you have any other charms so you can technically just be Miss trellis any time without the charm

You can get the black and white filter if you get a P rank in every run n gun level. You can get P rank by finishing the level without killing any enemy. Then talk with the turtle in inkwell isle 3
You can also get a weird filter if you get like 15 A ranks or more and then talk to the fork dude on isle 3

The dragon is one of the hardest bosses in cuphead because of the last phase edit: to the people that liked this comment probably had the most trouble on the dragon boss

With the III special, you can actually parry off of the little pink spear that the super leaves behind, and get another charge.

With the last stage for wally warbles you can use the bombs that you get near djimmy the great. Also another thing, you can lay on the back wall and dodge the eggs in stage one for wally warbles and not get hit because he the shell doesn't launch to the side

Grim matchsticks is easy if you use crack shot and lobber as weapons. Makes the whole fight a breeze. Also with the tiny flames you wait to jump till they do so you know which direction they are going

Also , here is the other 2 secret bosses in the other 2 worlds : in the genie bossfight , if you go in tiny plane when the cuphead phase is here , youll have a secret tiny cuphead ; in world 3 , in the theatre , if you somehow manage to get the lady to do herunbrela dash attack too many times , it will break the chandeleer triggering a secret boss ; thats all bye :)
You can get a secret stage if you go into the small plane mode when djimmi the genie is looking into your brain before the fake cuphead stage. Also equip the twin heart and spin in a circle a few times then play any boss

hey bijuu, i know this may sound impossible but try getting an S on every level, but I would suggest doing DLC bosses first because it takes less time, and they dont give you nightmares (unlike grim matchstick)
When I did this challenge I had already beat a couple of the bosses multiple times so I just had to do like 5 bosses and I got the skin
If you go to the achievement menu in the pause screen you can look at all the achievements you need to do
Also miss chalice has two plane weapons
You can hide at the very left side of the clock bird fight and dodge the egg shards
Grimm matchstick does not shoot the fireballs during the flamethrower part
You can hide behind king dice’s hands and jump with crack shot to damage him
And you can only s-rank in expert mode
Moral of the story: You can do anything if the pac is back.
