I like how Cuphead's Pacifist route is difficult and challenging like Undertale's Pacifist route - hard to do, but rewarding in the end 😄

19:36 for those of you who don’t know. The whetstone allows you to parry enemies and the way the devs create the water in this level is by shoving a ton of enemies in the water. At least I think it is because I can’t think of any other explanation for parryable water
It is becuase you can parry anything with that charm that has a hitbox i think, and the water has it becuase well, if you touch it you take damage..

No there was an enemy underwater and it was a pink star and before it can go up bijuu mike parried it

Ok, when I tried to get all the achievements, which I did. Perilous Peers was the HARDEST, most miserable, agony, most frustrating run and gun level for me when doing pacifist because of those stupid shrimps!
But through torture and suffering I made it and got pacifist.
If you spin around like 3 times you get double health and do it with Ms chalice if you have the dlc

It is super interesting to see this sort of challenge incorporated into the game itself. Especially in one that has enemies that make you WANT to shoot them by being infuriating.

Did you get the secret 2-strip filter? Its obtained by getting an a rank on most of the main-game bosses, then talking to the fork guy in inkwell isle 3!

The way Mike was able to P Rank Rugged Ridge so easily makes me want to almost scream in agony since it was one of the hardest levels for me to P Rank
I barely ever shoot in that level regardless, but the theme park one was my first and easiest

Fun fact: you can parry the butterflies in the run and guns but it doesn’t fill up your cards
yea I used that in my Passive run and it is so much easier that parrying the mushroom
Something to note is for the first level you can just use the invincibility super to get past the mini boss since it gives you a small boost👍
It took me almost a month to get this reward in the fact he did it in one video is respectable
It’s honestly baffling to me, I can barely get through treetop trouble
I've been trying to do a p rank on funhouse frazzle for 2 weeks it's hard not getting hit

The wizard guy just spawned in the area cuphead jumped to. But technically cuphead still hit the wizard even though the wizard didn’t fully spawn
15:10 is (i think) inspired by Castle Crashers. In the Industrial Castle level, you ride an elevator just like that, while fighting Industrialists. So is 16:47 , because in the thieves forest level, at the end, you get chased by a giant troll.
you can actually use a invincibility to get that extra jump height for the first one as well as chalice's double jump

That isn't a part of the relic the relic uses other charms the charm that lets you Larry things not pink is whetstone

Keyword "fire" that doesn't mean not harm, using the whetstone charm you can attack by parrying stuff, it doesn't even have to be pink to hurt it. Also the whetstone charm is like a hand to hand combat weapon and has the same damage as the finger guns :)
Killing anything with whetstone=not pacifist
You won’t get a p rank if you kill something or fire 1 shot
You can use whetstone to parry bosses to get over them tho
You can get the 2 strip filter if you get at least A- rank in every boss. Then talk to the guy ner the houses in inkwell isle 3
Or just just get 1 S-rank
@@touchthegoat2289 you need 15 A+ rank levels in either bosses or run n guns, this includes S and P ranks, but you need 15 total for that filter

There is a secret unlockable filter wich you can get by beating every plane level in reverse. From last plane level to first.
To get a Upside down filter
(You have to be mini plane to do damage)

Mike, the whetstone charm and the divine relic give you the ability to parry anything, you can't build a super meter if you parry things that aren't pink. Also, you can parry the doggone dogfight's robot's tongue on the secret phase even without whetstone or the relic.
Killing normal enemy’s with whetstone will result in you not getting the p rank
While the first run and gun i was screaming “USE THE 2ND SUPER USE THE 2ND SUPER”
You should try getting an s rank on all the bosses. It has the same requirements as A+ but you also have to do it on expert

@@aspenisthebest Well technically you can't get a P rank on bosses since you have to beat them by damaging them. Even if you don't shoot them it still counts as damaging them
There’s another filter you can get by getting A ranks on 17 bosses and then talk to the fork that’s on third isle

Fun fact: in funfair fever, you can kill the wall with three shooter mini boss and it will still count to the p rank

Currently, I am on my second to last level of this challenge (Aka Perilous Piers) and it is SO difficult. It’s like trying to defeat Ganon with my bare hands. It’s INSANE!!

A way to hit bosses without shooting them is to parry. It takes a long time, but with enough skill you can defeat the bosses.

There’s also a another feature if you get all A+ on every boss in inkwell 1,2,3, and the devil and king dice and after you get to talk to the folk in inkwell 3 and get the feature.
Bijuu mike *SUCCESSFULLY* passing the "Run N Gun" made me tear up, so *PEACEFUL.*
You can actually go through the bosses in run and gun's if you keep a bit of your hp, cuz as chalice (I think I was chalice at least) I didn't know how to get past him quickly so I dashed through him and boom done (I done this on treetop trolly but you can definetly do this on other run and gun's)
You can jump over every run and gun boss apart from the acorn maker and the slot machine (as regular cuphead)
But if you use chalice, you can jump over everything (idk about the slot machine tho)

Fun fact in rugged ridge for the Stonelion you could actually just dash through it(if you have a smoke bomb on) haven’t tested it yet😅 instead of just using the broken relic to just perry on it

the relic does not let you parry enemy the axe does let you parry enemies
For the acorn machine part in the first stage, because there is an invisible wall that dosen’t let you pass, you should use the extra jump that the invincibility supers gives
Fun Fact: in Treetop Trouble you can parry the pink butterflies in the background!

Okay I'm not sure... But just to be sure, here's a guide to all the secret coins. I'll list the isles by number.
1 : the robot guy is blocking it. Complete the first isle and he will move.
2 : near the die house, you will notice (I think) some carts or something else. Come into contact with those and search around a bit, and you will find the coin.
3 : go to the left of calla maria, where the stairs are not usually there. You might see some sort of stand. Go behind it and you will get the coin.
Heck : search around the casino. (It's not in the level) it's in some sort of edge on the left.
DLC : search for a secret entrance behind the houses in the first part. You will find eventually you can go behind the houses. Go to the end of the secret path and you will get the coin.
FYI: all secret coins are in the overworld.

Did you know this item in cuphead called Whetstone which allows you to Parry enemies but hurts them without shooting that's what ability you're using right now when you parry with the relic
Hey Mike (yes ik this is 8 months into the future but still) incase you didn't know. You hit one of the stone lions with the parry attack and you still got the pRank. Meaning you can use it but not lose the rank, check perilous piers too you hit the back-stroking lobster with it and still could've possibly gotten the rank
9:57 the relic gives the effect of every charm and weapon it changes every time you shoot or use an ex
How do you not A+ goopy?
Step 1:choose crackshot as weapon A
Step 2: choose spread for shot B
Step 3: anytime goopy stops to attack go into his face and shoot
Step 4: when he goes into big boi form do the same as step 3
Final step: when he is a tomb stone, crackshot him 3 times, then use chalices last super art
Then after all that you should beat him in UNDER a minute and get the A+ rank
