Ok, when I tried to get all the achievements, which I did. Perilous Peers was the HARDEST, most miserable, agony, most frustrating run and gun level for me when doing pacifist because of those stupid shrimps! But through torture and suffering I made it and got pacifist.
It is super interesting to see this sort of challenge incorporated into the game itself. Especially in one that has enemies that make you WANT to shoot them by being infuriating.
Did you get the secret 2-strip filter? Its obtained by getting an a rank on most of the main-game bosses, then talking to the fork guy in inkwell isle 3!
15:10 is (i think) inspired by Castle Crashers. In the Industrial Castle level, you ride an elevator just like that, while fighting Industrialists. So is 16:47 , because in the thieves forest level, at the end, you get chased by a giant troll.

Keyword "fire" that doesn't mean not harm, using the whetstone charm you can attack by parrying stuff, it doesn't even have to be pink to hurt it. Also the whetstone charm is like a hand to hand combat weapon and has the same damage as the finger guns :)

Mike, the whetstone charm and the divine relic give you the ability to parry anything, you can't build a super meter if you parry things that aren't pink. Also, you can parry the doggone dogfight's robot's tongue on the secret phase even without whetstone or the relic.
There is a secret unlockable filter wich you can get by beating every plane level in reverse. From last plane level to first. To get a Upside down filter (You have to be mini plane to do damage)

@@aspenisthebest Well technically you can't get a P rank on bosses since you have to beat them by damaging them. Even if you don't shoot them it still counts as damaging them
vid idea- get 300% on the game, not 100% you already got that, 200% is beating the main game in expert and getting all the achievement. 300% is doing the same but on the dlc. once you finish the main game and the dlc on expert you should have 200% on the main game and 100% on the dlc, adding up to 300%. you do not need to get an s rank to get 300% but there is 2 achievements that require an s rank. one is getting an s rank on any lvl and the 2nd one is getting an s rank on the dlc. to get an s rank you have to -finish the level you want in under 2:11, if you beat the lvl in 2 minutes and 10 seconds or under that counts. if you beat it in more than 2 minutes but less than 2:11 the number won't appear in yellow but it will still count. -not take damage. by not take damage I mean have 3 hp by the end of the level. I would use ms. chalice cuz you get 4 hp. -do 3 parries. you have to do 3 parries by the end of the lvl. some parries don't count, like in Werner werman (the bootleg tom & jerry) on the 1st part he throws some pink things that if you parry you jump really high up, those don't count as a parry. the parries that count are the ones that give cards/specials. example in dr. khals robot he sends these pin things that shoot a laser and you need to parry to make it stop. those do count as a parry. lastly ms. chalice 3 special puts a pink thing in the air that gives you a card, im not sure about this one but that pink thing doesn't count as a parry. -use 6 specials. there's not much to say besides use your specials. - play in expert. again not much to say besides GET GUD. I think that's it, here's some tips so you actually win. use charge and crackshot, charge is super strong and crackshot is like chaser but better. also again, use ms. chalice. use the 2nd special for the extra hp. lastly there's some secret achievements that idk how ppl even found this, im only saying one which is my least fav but also my most fav for how unique it is. idk what it was called but you have to beat any plane boss with only the mini plane bullets, you can turn into the big plane at any time you want but if you shoot a normal bullet you lose. the easy way of doing this is going into king dice with djimmi's wishes, so before starting go in circles a lot for double hp. now in the king dice fight go under the dice and role a 2, the easy way is getting right under the dice and just before the number you want is right infront you quickly jump and parry. role a 2 and kill chips betigan and get another 2 for the safe spot, now get a 3 to land on the 6th boss. now just get close to him and use the mini plane bullets. the boss shoots presents that are very slow but still annoying so attack him in the head cuz they spawn close to his chest, make sure to look at the bottom of the screen cuz there's those guys on those horses and some of them jump at you, the blue ones jump at you so yeah remember that. you don't have to do this in expert mode. yeah once you got all of these achievements there's one more vid idea I can come up with but I won't say it here because this is getting too long. now if you do this I wish you good luck cuz you suck at this game, if you learn a bit maybe you can do what I did where I got to king dice in 30 minutes while also doing the dlc and the gauntlet. so yeah good luck and.... never gonna give you up

There’s also a another feature if you get all A+ on every boss in inkwell 1,2,3, and the devil and king dice and after you get to talk to the folk in inkwell 3 and get the feature.
Fun fact in rugged ridge for the Stonelion you could actually just dash through it(if you have a smoke bomb on) haven’t tested it yet😅 instead of just using the broken relic to just perry on it
How do you not A+ goopy? Step 1:choose crackshot as weapon A Step 2: choose spread for shot B Step 3: anytime goopy stops to attack go into his face and shoot Step 4: when he goes into big boi form do the same as step 3 Final step: when he is a tomb stone, crackshot him 3 times, then use chalices last super art Then after all that you should beat him in UNDER a minute and get the A+ rank

Okay I'm not sure... But just to be sure, here's a guide to all the secret coins. I'll list the isles by number. 1 : the robot guy is blocking it. Complete the first isle and he will move. 2 : near the die house, you will notice (I think) some carts or something else. Come into contact with those and search around a bit, and you will find the coin. 3 : go to the left of calla maria, where the stairs are not usually there. You might see some sort of stand. Go behind it and you will get the coin. Heck : search around the casino. (It's not in the level) it's in some sort of edge on the left. DLC : search for a secret entrance behind the houses in the first part. You will find eventually you can go behind the houses. Go to the end of the secret path and you will get the coin. FYI: all secret coins are in the overworld.

Hey Mike (yes ik this is 8 months into the future but still) incase you didn't know. You hit one of the stone lions with the parry attack and you still got the pRank. Meaning you can use it but not lose the rank, check perilous piers too you hit the back-stroking lobster with it and still could've possibly gotten the rank
You can actually go through the bosses in run and gun's if you keep a bit of your hp, cuz as chalice (I think I was chalice at least) I didn't know how to get past him quickly so I dashed through him and boom done (I done this on treetop trolly but you can definetly do this on other run and gun's)
You can jump over every run and gun boss apart from the acorn maker and the slot machine (as regular cuphead) But if you use chalice, you can jump over everything (idk about the slot machine tho)

It is becuase you can parry anything with that charm that has a hitbox i think, and the water has it becuase well, if you touch it you take damage..

The way Mike was able to P Rank Rugged Ridge so easily makes me want to almost scream in agony since it was one of the hardest levels for me to P Rank
I barely ever shoot in that level regardless, but the theme park one was my first and easiest

A way to hit bosses without shooting them is to parry. It takes a long time, but with enough skill you can defeat the bosses.

Now if u create a word with those 3 letters, u get *sap.* And u might question what is in Chalice's, Cuphead's and Mugman's cups, the answer is *white sap.* *(sorry if that sounded sus lol-)*

Also I kept hearing whispers of *the P rating* in Cuphead and was just like "bruh how do you even play Cuphead without killing anything." Knowing it's just the run-n-gun levels and not the bosses makes waaay more sense lol
