I had to make a Scratch game for school, and it sucked. I’m impressed these people had the patience and determination to recreate Cuphead to this extent.

tbh, for scratch this is absolutely incredible. not only did they have to hand draw everything but also had to code all bosses with its unintuitive engine... and then the main one was deleted due to hate on how "bad" it was.

Well. I'm sorry for my bad Cuphead project, lol. (the first one & thumbnail) At the time I just finished making the project I thought it was pretty cool, but I guess looking back on it, it is pretty bad. Though, this one was someone else's remix since I deleted the original project over 2 years ago. To my credit, It was only the fourth project I ever made.

You know, you gotta give props to the creator if you think about HOW LONG they made the sprites. And the scripts and all that other stuff. They literally draw all of this on mouse on MS paint.
Honestly this Cuphead was pretty bad, but you gotta admit it takes a while to make a kinda decent game so kudos to them!

I use Scratch just because it's a very easy programming platform for beginners that doesn't take long to learn, and all commands are in block form, so it's easier to navigate and control.
I swear that every primary school ever uses Scratch lmao

There’s still something you haven’t done in cuphead, you should do the pacifist run in all of the levels (run and guns)
Basically you have to beat all the run and guns without hitting any enemies, and it unlocks a filter. The turtle in inkwell isle 3 gives you the challenge
(Parrying doesn’t count as hitting)
Use up HP or parry to get to get to the end of the run and gun if you have to

It's pretty easy tbh I just did all of em for the trophy in less than 30 mins with damage boosts and whatnot, I didn't have to kill anything not even the bosses via the run n gun levels like the wall that spits cars or giant mosquito

They probably did it by either tracing really good or they just went to the wiki and imported the animation. Then they did some insane coding so make it just like the real game.
The sprites are from some google drive with a million assets
honestly, for scratch this was EXTREMELY good, due to how much hate it got, the original one was deleted sadly.

Oh my God, I loved Scratch. I have a friend who loves Cuphead, and back in primary school he'd play these cuphead games, there are a surprising amount of them tbh

That grey question mark haunts me. As a person who uses scratch to make my games this scare's me a lot. This question mark means you don't have a strong enough computer to run the scratch project or the scratch servers can't run it. This happens with audio too.

I used scratch and its pretty hard to learn alone. Experiment is the only way to learn. TH-cam let me learn only 1-5 stuff then i don't learn anything again. This project is very very good.
