As a mother of two young children I can relate to this. I entertain my kids while I prep as much as possible from home. Little chunks at a time help to keep me productive.
Great idea about bringing the bins home! I teach middle school so I have over 55 to do, but it's better than sitting at school doing it. Looking forward to your series!

I did the same thing to some cubbies from Walmart years ago. That backing really helped so much. My Billy bookcases have glass shelves and glass doors and hold my rock and mineral collection. They are anchored to the wall. I added LED lighting and they look and work great for me.

As a teacher myself in Switzerland I find it unbelievable that teachers have to buy all of these school supplies themselves...here you normally have one person at a school who does a collective order for all of these materials that are considered"basics"...I am then free to use my budget for teaching resources and habds-on materials for my classroom,which is awesome❤

No cuz each of those bookcases is like $40 a piece! I fixed all three for a total of $25!

I’m not excited for classroom setup this year :/ i’m a 6th year reading specialist and I’m probably going to be in the hallway unfortunately :( I heard they were giving my tiny room the size of a closet to the gym teachers to store stuff so that puts me and all my things in the hall. Kids steal at my school so much so that I caught a student IN MY PURSE STEALING last year and the student attacked me when I tried to get my freaking wallet back so being in the hall is giving me severe anxiety:/
