Hurray Christine! Such a pleasure to sit next to you today! Here I am, watching you, stitching away and it's way past midnight - but.....that's the pure joy of this community - stitching brings us all such joy. Your work today so so impressive - I just looked over and there was your treasure of a work! And your generosity of sharing your Inktense was also so appreciated! See you tomorrow! Sincerely, Kate
Thanks, Christine, for showing a glimpse of this fantastic experience! I love your drawing so so much, love the texture of the chain stitch on the rose...love everything 😅enjoy!!❤
You are doing beautifully! Thank you so much for sharing a glimpse of the workshop. There is nothing like this where I live in the US so your inspiration is priceless! I follow both you and Kate in the Nest. Would love to see a photo of the two of you together! Workshop joy!!! ❤
oh poop I lost my comment, I was saying I had to laugh with you cos I stitched a tag to my jeans the other evening. The workshop looks amazing, would love to be there with you, so happy to see you prove to yourself that you can draw after all, I'm sure that will open up so many more avenues to explore in the future. Your piece is beautiful already, really pretty and I love the texture the chain stitch gives to that flower. Thanks for sharing the joy Christine, enjoy the rest of the workshop xo
That looks so good! Your drawing skills are a lot better than you suggested, for sure! It’s wonderful when you get into that creative groove isn’t it? I think the bouquet design looks amazing. A merino and silk blend yarn sounds heavenly. I’m glad you’re having this lovely experience
Hahah I’ve stitched my work to my bedding. How fabulous did your drawing of your flowers 🌼 turn out… Inktense blocks are great. What beautiful yarn. Enjoy your day tomorrow😊.
Thank you Christine for your video and sharing your lovely project with us. I thought you said you could not draw ? Those flowers look on point to me. How wonderful to be able to attend in person. I think a lot of us are wishing we lived in Australia😂😂 So nice to see your pictures/ video at the end, everyone obviously having a great workshop and lots of scrummy food to boot. Seeing the table before you start looks as if Fleur brings everything you could possibly need and what you don't think you need.
Thanks so much for sharing this workshop with us. Your piece is lovely, I especially love the chain stitching on the flower. I wish we has something similar where I live in the USA but at least I can have a little glimpse and be inspired. ❤
Oh how I wish I lived in Australia. The work shop looks amazing. Thanks for showing us. Love how you used chain stitch to fill in your rose. Look forward to seeing more. Xxx
Wow!!! I love all the elements of your drawing Christine! The flower sketches, paint color and the leaves, as well as the cloth. Is that Aida cloth? It seems to take the paint very well. Love the chain stitch as the filling stitch, just wow! Thanks for sharing the activities in your workshop. You have a nice seat mate, Kate seems like a warm and friendly lady. I watch her YT channel too. Have a great day tomorrow! ❤ 🌸tess
Thank you so much for sharing this! Such a lovely inspiring project and your artistic talent shines through🥰 I’d absolutely love to know more about the different pattern transfer methods and the fabric medium used that prevented the Inktense from bleeding. It looks perfect❤
Just aside the Danish thread is a perle 12 I have most of the colours and I like it . (Op shop find). Really love your design love to see that in the raw.thankyou for a delightful video
Thank you for sharing, love your poppy. Wish I could do a live fleur workshop, am doing her fibre arts takes two course which I am loving. Can't wait to see how your piece progresses.
So exciting Christine, I’d love to do a workshop one day. I just don’t understand why you first paint the flowers and then fill them in with the threads! They look great and I really like your idea of lazy daisy’s to fill on the petals, looks very impressive… enjoy the remainder of your workshop.. also I’m not sure if you revived my message regarding my you tube channel. I have now done 3 videos which I have uploaded. Cheers Kaylee. Krafty Kaylee Kreations.

I love you stitched to the table- that’s my trick. I’ve never filled a flower in with chain stitch. Something I’m gonna try.
