How lovely you look in your colourful dress among the poppies! I’m just starting to plant my vegetable garden in Ottawa Ontario, but it’s still quite early and too soon for some veggies. But how fantastic to see how abundant and vigorous your herbs and vegetables grow in a Tuscany! We have a quite a short growing season, but I love having an herb garden just steps from my kitchen when I’m cooking. In the New Testament, you will even see the book of Romans which was written to those tribes who settled there. Many also fled to Greece, Spain and throughout all of Europe. I love the words to the song playing, "And Ransome captive Israel" My Hebrew ancestors actually settled in Scotland, Ireland, England and France. Thank you for my dose of peace for the day.

Thank you so much for sharing this series of renovating a ruin. I feel like I’m not alone trying to tidy up a property which requires a lot of housework and a once beautiful garden which has been lying in a semi-neglected state for a few years. It’s hard physical work but at least there’s the satisfaction of an end in sight and I get a good nights’ sleep 😴 (which has been lacking since Brexit, then COVID and now the prospect of WW3 on our doorstep🥴) Thank you to both of you for cheering me up👏🏻
Ciao Kylie and Guido, your parsley was gigantic. It must be the Bella vista of the Tuscan hills that make your herbs and the veges happy. It would make me happy also😀 I found that putting the parsley into a paper bag, freezes beautifully. I use to put it in a plastic sandwich bag but ice crystals would form so the parsley was soggy. By putting it in a paper bag it stays dry. Your garden is beautiful and the horses look wonderful roaming around. 💙🧡

Nice work. You kids need to invest in some proper tools for those hills. A good weed eater will help. Also a tarp works for collecting all the grass, weeds and then it's easy to move it where you want it. Horse food? This way you are not picking it up twice. Just moving it.
Hi Kylie Inspired and invigorated by your videos I started my restoration project in Abruzzo last week. I was here just last month and the growth in the garden and fields is amazing if a little daunting. It was like coming back to a jungle. Tip for the ginger: freeze it whole with the skin , grate it stil frozen and put the unused piece back in the freezer. No fibers !

Nice work. You kids need to invest in some proper tools for those hills. A good weed eater will help. Also a tarp works for collecting all the grass, weeds and then it's easy to move it where you want it. Horse food? This way you are not picking it up twice. Just moving it.

Inspired and invigorated by your videos I started my restoration project in Abruzzo last week. I was here just last month and the growth in the garden and fields is amazing if a little daunting. It was like coming back to a jungle. My house is quite high and in the past few days has been under a shroud of low cloud. Looking forward to some sun and poppies.
