- Yo guys today on @RenderRam we're again talking about things everyone knows about, right?
Check out @evermotion news on :
evermotion.org/
I'm covering another 5 max features that went under peoples radars:
0:00 Intro of depths
0:41 Modifier-Based Space Warps
3:51 Area To Render
5:27 Show Dependencies
7:07 Show Ghosting
8:00 Prepend Scene Name
Awesome! I always learn a thing or two in these series.
The prepend feature is absolutely gold. Thanks!
I love this series, thank you
I have to say that I feel ashamed of myself every time you upload a video. I have been using 3d Studio since 1992 and I am still learning. I admit that I didn't know the show Dependencies, and I believe It will be better if I stop designing for a month and explore all 3DS Max features.
we're in the same boat bud, I keep discovering features that I should have known 25 years ago
Nice, thanks for these tips, always helpful even for someone like me who has been using the program for longer than I care to admit. Also, great job on covering your ‘purple’ slip up with ‘pink’. Ha ha
Hahaha damnit!
I couldn’t stop myself by saying purple all the time
Thanks for the content and happy easter!!!
This video is gold
Again, exceptional video, very well explained. Thankyou for sharing your expertise.
Nice creative use of the space warps!
i always using select similiar and isolate the object but the show dependencies I think more faster step anyways thanks for the awesome tips..hahaha after 2000 years just teasure it!
Been using 3ds Max for 25 years
Well I learned 2 life-saving features from this video
1- the space warp thing is so cool and can save a lot of time trying to achieving some parametric effects
2- the autoback name option!!! How could I never saw this before, so now if I'm having multiple 3ds max instances open, they won't override each others autobacks? No more opening an autoback of my living room I've working on only to find a pair of slippers I've been trying to merge into the scene 😂
YES, No more damn slippers in autoback!
My issue exactly 🤣
How are you so passionate about all this. I love the way you teach about these things. ❤
Wasn’t always like that, literally had to learn to love it so it doesn’t become a grind
Thank you for some amazing tips. honestly. 👌cheers
The space warp could be usefull to mimic furniture legs dig into carpets :D Sometimes when i really wanna get fancy i activate soft selection and manually move some points, but it seems a better option.
Happy Easter!
thank you bud, you too!
Good tips.
Another very informative and appealing video. I would also like to thank you again for the extremely useful "DirTemplate Extension Script". 😊👌🤟
that little program is a life changer indeed :D
Mine too 😊@@RenderRam
Artist post images with color checkers like X-rite in the render to just the colors and lighting like photographers do. No one anywhere shows how to do it in 3d max and I use Vray, but sure it would be similar any render engine.
Hello, nice features :)
Can u please in future make video tutorial of how make that jumpy chair ? Keep working :)
Question how do you use a Colorchecker in 3d max to get lighting and color correct
You mean in general how do I approach color/light accuracy?
first!
