Wow, I've been curious about UVReactor and it looks incredible! The speed and packing options are fantastic, I like Max's Unwrap, but this is just another level. In on the random comment and fingers crossed!
I've just watched the video. I'm starting out with 3d studio and this plugin seems to make working with UV maps incredibly easier. Thanks for letting me know that such software exists!

Seems pretty good plugin, but latetly iam in love with RizomUV and i like the separate window editor it has, and the 3D viewport it offers. Easy to isolate elements and it has easy and fast shortcut bindings system. IF there is demo version or something i might try this one to see how it works :D

This looks like a great game changer.
No more UVWMap software crash suspense!
Max feels like USA service jobs. You work in a restaurant and you get payed by the client in tips. In max it feels like you have the platform and the users develop the software better then Autodesk.
I use Unwrella, works super even for complex objects. Unwrella also works with multiple objects and unwraps all in one step.
Good luck with tiled textures and UV modification using Unwrella. :)
Don't compare it with UVR. The purpose of the two is completely different. With UVR you have much more control over the UVs. :)
@@pi3c3com You're rigt, Unwrella unwrap is "take it or leave it", therefore I use it mainly for sofas, armchairs and simmilar objects with fabric cover.

It being fast is nice, but I don't get the purpose. You still need to place seams and unwrap with Max tools, right?
We already have UV-Packer for packing.
Well it's not just a UV-Packer... :) But this is a full featured (not yet but will be) UV Editing tool where you can affect the way of development. Just write me what would you like to see in UVR and I'll make it come true. :) Not all developers offer such a cool opportunity. ;) And on the other hand, it's on a fair price right now. :)
Autodesk don't do this kind of stuff just because they don't want to. This one looks amazing, I'll give a try.

Random Comment - does that mean a totally random comment or one picked at random? Because, here is my totally random (and wandering) comment:
The sun was out today. I don't know why. It's just what happens on sunny days. I guess it's good for the plants, but it seems like fewer people bowl when the sun is out. I wonder if UV Reactor is really powered by Ultra Violet light. It is a shorter wave length than visible light, so it has more energy. Maybe that's why it works so fast. Using those invisible rays. I wonder what people would think if the sun were invisible and we had no idea where the daylight came from. It just was. I bet that would really mess with people's minds. Huh, I haven't been bowling in a long time. Maybe it's because it's been very sunny.

@@Arikiatrukido Well, EUE has been so far an invite-only event, and because of it the majority of people were studio owners, developers,etc... That's probably why you see "older people". But this year it became a free-for-all event so that age thing will vary a lot. Speaking of age and Blender, there's D2 event in 2 months in Vienna (mostly max users) that I might attend too, and there you'll see about 300 people from ages 19-50 :D
