I logged in to my uncles WiFi using my little cousins tablet which they use for watching cartoons on. I got the tablet and shared the WiFi with myself (if your device has a lockscreen password you need to unlock it to get access to the WiFi share settings which I got away with since its a tablet for a toddler whose tablet is restricted and only has youtube to watch cartoons on and because the kid is likely to forget the password or not know how to unlock the tablet in the first place then OBVIOUSLY not going to have a lockscreen password)

It's not about using the password to get the password, it's for when for instance you are using a computer at work or school and you want to connect your phone to the wifi but its not public access. Basically if you have access to a computer that is connected to a wifi network, you can discover the password using this command so you can connect your own devices to it.
