I've been using Edge Panel since the S6 Edge. Thats a must have for me

I have the Samsung edge panel on the right, and Swapps on left (I don't like a long scrolling edge panel). The thing that sucks about Swapps, is you can't open multi-view or set pairs with it.
@@jstray83 it's just easier for me to get to my most used apps without going to the home screen. With Dark Mode on, I hardly even notice it or I've been using it for so long that I don't notice it. I've had every s series since the S6 and 2 z Folds so I've been using Edge Panels for quite a while

Cases: they're essential, totally (unless you like drooping the slippery thing). I really liked the one I got from my local Samsung store; it had a handgrip on the back that was great for keeping it safe onew-handedly, whether open or closed. And very comfy for holding on to it while watching movies with it unfolded. The action felt very natural.

Are there any good cases that do not use glue adhesive?
I saw one with magnets the other day on a video but don't know which one it is.

If you use the Samsung browser, you can do lots of handy stuff. You can drag links to open them up in a second screen.

If you pull the notification shade down twice, the power button appears up top next to the setting gear. I would much rather have Bixby available by holding the power button. As limited as she is, she can still do stuff. Thanks for the video.

I use my edge panel for setting my timers and alarms quickly. I can also access my quick notes easier.
What is Dex?... And..... Can Bixby be shut off so that if you accidentally hit the wrong button it doesn't start up?
And I need help with labs and that app..?? Lock. Whatever it is..... I have so much to learn.
But I lovey new toy.
The only thing preventing me from ditching my iPhone is that outer screen size.. which if it had the s23 ultra cameras and the s-pen in the phone I could deal with it. Also does Samsung still not have visual voice mail as a native feature? I know my iPhone and even the pixels have it.
Can you recommend a screen protector that goes to the very edge of the front display? They all leave a gap that I've seen

Have you had trouble with the S pen being loose? Mine wants to fall out. Is it just mine, or are they all like that?
I haven't experienced thsi myself but you're not the first person I've hard having an issue with it being loose.
Am I right when I say when you go Fold you never go back to a regular phone? I mean when you get used to the screen size it must feel weird to go back. Anyway, good video! I'm getting to Fold 6.
any idea y i am getting only 4 hrs of SOT and 16-20 hrs of standby, is it because i copied the data from my old phone to it?
Got mine today, I am not thrilled by any means but it feels like crease has decreased. It's not that noticeable than Z fold 4 (Iniitial impressions). Feels slightly lighter ? Man I don't wanna send it back, as I got $1000 credit for S22 ultra.
I expect a full Flip 5 tips and tricks also. Lol

Has anyone been able to find a case for the Z-Fold 5 that doesn't have that sticky adhesive? Every case I've tried leaves that residue on my phone and I like swapping cases often.
They usually all have those adhesive strips to help the case stay on the phone.
Same here and the only solution I could find is NOT to use any case for the front screen and just use the base case for the back of the unit. Works for me. Hope this helps.
How you get the facebook bar to show up on the side like that when it was just facebook open on the big screen

@TechOdyssey 3 minutes in. If I turn on multi view in layout mode it kinda looks like this but the top part that says facebook is cut off like theres a black bar across the top

I wonder if these fold phones will have the screen burn in that some Samsung phones develop over time, since technically you're not using one screen all the time...
I had the Fold 3 for 2 years before I got the Fold 5 and It didn't happen to mine
Likely the screens are equally as susceptible to burn in but like you said, switching between the two screens will cut down on the possibility of burn in.
I guess that now that the screens have a higher maximum brightness it takes more time for them to burn-in at indoor brightness levels.
I returned mine. I was having issues when using the pen the touch was not registering

I can't recall a time that I ever used a screen protector for any of my electronic devices from watches, tablets, or phones.
That's not to say screen protectors are useless. It's never never been my priority.
The phone casing cracking from wear and tear is challenging... Thank goodness my past S 22 Ultra endurance its many drops and not one hairline scratch seen anywhere!
Sent mine back. The foldable market just isn't mature yet. I was holding a bulky, heavy phone with an almost unusable outer display. And find myself preferring my computer or tablet when I was home, rather than using the phone opened. Don't get me wrong, app pairs and all the multitasking features are awesome, and Samsung probably has the best foldable out right now. But these things have to get a LOT thinner, the outer display wider, and the inner display more reliable long-term. The software aspect of foldables is coming along nicely though. Still several apps that aren't compatible even with the Labs feature turned on, but formfactor is the main issue at the moment.
So what phone are you using now?
@@TechOdyssey It's back to my S23+. I'm tempted to switch to the Ultra. That sky blue is calling my name. But it somehow feels a lot bigger in the hand than the difference on paper between it and the Plus would suggest 🤔. Talk me off the ledge lol.
I agree. I sold my fold 3 and 4 because the market isn’t there yet. The best foldable was the duo 2 but Microsoft discontinued it.
Totally get that. Foldables are not for everyone. Nevertheless, I just got my fold a week back and so far I am super happy.

These tutorials ard useless! The narrators speak so fast and move around so fast you can't follow! And they all start like they're in the middle of the tutorial already. The narrators say "go here, go there.." without even telling you what icon they 're opening or where it takes you!
