Upgrading to the Fold 5 from a S20 Ultra, which has been a great phone but has devolped a few minor glitches over the past 3-1/2 years now. Foldables are to that point now to consider owning one, My wife has a Flex 3 which has been good, although she complains about the camera compared to her old S20 Plus. I usually play with the settings on new phones and can generally figure them out but your video has narrowed down a few new and pretty neat settings to consider. Thanks!

I tuned into the premiere late so I went back and rewatched the parts that I missed. A lot of it was stuff I knew; but, a lot of it was new to me, so I'm happy I watched. This is a very useful, very informative video.
The changing the long press in Accessibility down to 0.3 seems to be the big winner for me. I can't explain it; but, it seems to make all interactions with the phone, like the Gesture Nav and swiping through apps in the Overview screen, feel far more fluid. I'd already set the animations in Dev Options down to 0.5 and set the keyboard to 0.2 (IIRC), and I was more than satisfied with that. Thanks to your tip it got even better.
Interestingly; I tried it on some other, non Samsung phones, that I own. The LG V35's absolute minimum is 0.5 while my Moto Power only has a choice between Short, Medium, and Long. I'd set it to Short at some point in the distant past.
I also like the ability to hide the gesture reminder. A lot of Androids don't allow you to hide it and some decide to make it comically chunky for reasons. I ended up keeping it on because I do like being able to multitask by swiping sideways on the gesture bar and it provides a bit of symmetry with the notification bar. But, if I ever change my mind Samsung gives me the option to remove it. That's thoughtful.
I mentioned in the live chat being impressed with the routines. After playing with them a bit, I still am.

Great video. I have my Fold 5 preordered. After using the smaller Flip 4 for a year I am sold on the foldable concept. For anyone thinking of moving between these two phones, Samsung gave me $200 more in trade-in value for the Flip 4 than I paid for it 11 months ago.

i think the taskbar is a pretty cool feature i found it real easy when your on spotify say and want to switch to whatsapp or facebook etc without going home and then to the app also makes it real easy to drag and split apps

Apart from battery life when open and the narrow screen on the 3rd gen, it still a masterpiece.

When I'm texting with my phone open on the big screen, texting app is split in half. Meaning the left side is list of all the other people's text and the right side is the actual texting screen where I'm typing. How do I just have it a full screen so only the actual texting screen is showing.? Thanks!

I need help. How do you on z fold 5 open image and slide in order of name.
Like I want to open image 1 png and slide to left then image 2 png follow image 3 png.
But currently default photos or gallery do not do that. it's open and slide in order of date instead. like image 1 slide left image 4 then image 10.
On iOS, while dragging/moving one app with one finger, you can tap as many apps you like with another finger (as long as you are in ‘wiggle’ mode) and it will move all of them as a bundle :)
When did they steal that Samsung? I’ve had it for years

audio super quiet, had to turn up to max and then even turn up speakers some more to hear you talking

I got mine yday. I love it but the battery jesus christ. It is baaaaad. After beibg spoiler by apple idk hoe any defends Samsungs battery life. I honestly think about returning it. My battery goes poof even when.not using it..... 😂
