I need to go to the next stage on mine, I just untwisted the exhaust dual ported the muffler with gasket delete. It's in the dealer now with Mtronic blues. Gonna get the codes checked... I hope mine will run like yours after I get it on the lathe. I need the torque yours has...
How much did you advance the timing on that thing? I’ve heard of people drilling through the strato intake into the carb intake so it gets more clean air on the euro non M tronic versions of these. Kinda wonder if the computer would sense the extra clean air and load up the appropriate amount of fuel on the computer controlled saws. I know stock they’re not particularly fond of a long bar when you bury it.
I commented on the shinny 757, I just thought it was smidge off in the low. Was way better when you tuned it up some. No way I thought it was down on power. That stihl didn't seem massively faster if I'm being honest🤷♂️

Stock ing timing strato stuff is still 100%intact on it stock this was a turd it pulls long bar purty good now

That saw rips! Sounds angry. That's how I prefer to buck, big mean saw, fast cuts at the top of the rpm range.
