@@Rideables I ride seismic speed vents about 90% of the time. I wear adidas (sambas, puig, copas). The wheels wear my shoes less than the pavement which is why I started doing it. Of course, I think you should kick your wheels on purpose for practice. I even swing kick the front wheels to gain speed lol.
@@akwinter thank you for the details! For braking in very thin sole Merrells I also occasionally counter-push - not dragging on pavement but touch the ground and resist with muscles. Swing kicking the front wheels - wow this could be risky :)
Thank you, yes, I was advertising his video in FB LDP group, in analogy with a kick scooter it just comes to mind. Many people said it would screw the wheels, it sort of works for me with vibram soles and harder wheels, but I shaved the edges of Dad Bods when applying foot not exactly at center on TTX without looking. I'm not much concerned - the less contact area - the faster it rolls :)
Thank you! Regarding protection - after a few careless "what could possibly go wrong" time falls and having to sleep in a thumb/wrist brace for a few months, it was a natural selection law moment for me to start wearing protection gear religiously no matter what :)
Thank you, actually there are parts of shoe which never wear out like the middle of the sole, and I don't brake like that often. But I for sure shaved off edges of Dad Bod wheels by not placing the foot accurately at the center, so beware :)
That is a great idea, thanks! I'm glad your video randomly got reccomended to me. I'm going to try this.
That's very cool my friend, cheers from Australia
Thank you! Cheers!
Stay awesome 👌
I thought I was the only one doing this lol. Thanks for sharing
Cool! I had a lot of criticism for this in the LDP group :) What is your setup and shoes? Which one wins - the wheel or the shoe? :)

That's great, you can hardly see the smoke! 😁
LOL! It was about +5C, probably that's why :))
Interesting life-hack. I've seen it in youtube video from one LDP guy from Taiwan recently. Nice.

I'm glad y'all always wear protective gear. ❤❤❤ Thank you for the videos

Nice good idea, but after awhile maybe the shoe needs to be changed.

Very clever. Merci
Thank you, but beware it may shave the wheel edge if not placed consistently :)
Nice :)
Thank you! :)
Оо, стойка хорошая!!!
Вот только задняя ступнями не может себе места найти.
