Seems simple at first glance but there’s a lot going on with every little part of the bike. Something as simple as a side stand kill switch not working or a sticky side stand can render your bike inoperable. Worth watching all the way through! *Thanks for this.* Super helpful.
This video made me smile. That side stand is much happier now. I'm inspired to do this on my bike this weekend!
Great video, simple and to the point. 2 Thumps up for the DIY zip tie removal.....Outstanding
Thanks so much!
thanks for breaking this down! very easy and clear explanation.
You're welcome!
I appreciate the clear demonstration!
Yeah! My pleasure!
Great detail video. Thank you for helping everyone.
My pleasure!
Remember to shake your blue lock tight. Great video
Wonderful, mine is worked open & sits leaning more than factory, so I usually put down my center stand before I set foot on Mother Terra, so to speak respectfully
Replace it.
Nice. But it looks like the spring got mounted upside down at 7:00, contradicting your good advice lol at 1:30.
LOL could be...
Thank you much great video! I need to do this to my Vulcan 2000
You can do it!
If you have abit of play what needs replacing
What size bolts?
Nice job, thanks.
Really appreciate your explanations of each step. Which type of lube did you use?
In this video I just used wheel bearing grease.
Great video ... Love your work!
Thanks!
Thanks man doing mine in the am
Nice! lemme know how it goes!
Love the videos. Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks! Will do!
My bolt that attaches it to the frame is completely rusted its like the bolt and the threads on the frame have rusted together
yikes, try some penetrating lube and a torch.
Do you think parking the bike on the sidestand for long periods of time is bad and that a centerstand should be preferred?
PS: Thank you so much for your videos, i discovered your channel from motojitsu and your content is super helpful!
No, it’ll be fine for extended periods of time. I would say that placing the bike in the center stand will be better for the tires… less load and possibility for flat spots
Thank you
Welcome!
great vid!
Thanks! Hope it helped!
Right on!!
Thanks!
As I imagined!
I love that feeling when you get to use the part of the bike you just optimized. Feels so good huh? :) Thanks for watching!
@@motomecha530 absolutely, Mike!👍
What kinda bike is that?
My Bandit 1250
Thx but you need better camera work. It's too hard to see what you're doing.
Ok! Thanks, I'll work on getting better angle and lighting. It's definitely a steep learning curve for me...
