A lot of things are not properly expplained in the game itself. I'm happy you guys did those tutorials. Really helpful for a new player, even four years later. Thanks.
Love simple tutorials like this! Makes me want to learn more about games. If stuff is too complex or it takes too much time to figure out everything by myself, I usually lose interest. Subscribed!
i know i'm a bit late but damn i love your videos so much, just bought the game with all the packs and now i know i'm gonna watch each video before playing and actually enjoying everything the game can offer!
"Flame and light on" and "Door opening / closing" etc. when passing through attractions are explained. Even if I do not understand English, I understood only by looking at the screen. In addition,
Really good video. Well explained. Please make more tutorials, they are very helpful and fun to watch. Everything looks so easy in your tutorials and I really enjoying them! Well done!
Nice and informative video! I would realy be interrested in more tutotials! Keep it up. Oh and by the way that was the most insane two rides I have ever seen in Planet coaster. xD
They are crazy right? White knuckle stuff XD Looking at doing more tutorials as, let's be honest, the game doesn't give you much to go on and also it's a great way of bringing new people to the channel :)
I know this is later than a lot of people but thanks to this, my wooden coaster Timber Blaze in the biome theme park I'm building is so much cooler, plus the family woodie Mini Blaze next to it.
How did you change your clock to run a minute per second like that? I'd love to be able to slow the clock down while I build so I could keep the game unpaused while I fine-tune trigger effects, but then put the clock back to a normal/higher speed when done with building.
hello! Im new to planet coaster on the ps5, I have a question. How can I make my 90 degree angle up coaster actually go fast enough? The cars just fall down, even when I increased the speeds to maximum
This is a great system but it would be nice if you could use triggers to essentially turn on a triggerable so that it then does its looping animation or constant depending on the type, and then it continues to do that not for a time but until a second trigger turns it off.
Thank you. Your tutorials should be included with the game. As usual, the devs are busy building and not teaching. I know that feeling all too well. :P
This was a very helpful video, I've just started playing Planet Coaster and I have no idea what I'm doing lol so I'll definitely be back and forth to your channel to check out your video's 😊
how can you shut lights off with a trigger? Say you have lights on in a station with a launch coaster and when the coaster takes off, all the lights go off until it laves the station....is that possible?
O M G!!!!!!! The flash photo thingy is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! that kinda blew my mind! I would never think of that if u didnt show me. Now i wanna have it in my park and make a little photo booth at the exit from My roller coaster and pretend they will buy picture's :D TYTYTY for showing this!
just bought Planet Coaster and have no friggin clue what to do!!! Is there an order to your videos to...one I shoud start with...then the next and so on?!?!
Oh my god what is that song at 12:15?? It’s incredible and reminds me of interstellar theme song. I know it’s from planet coaster soundtrack but I can’t find it on the album!!
Is there a way, to keep coaster doors open, without attaching it to the trigger? I want to use one as a part of the scenery and I cant figure out how to keep those doors open. They are either shut permanently or opening and closing over and over again.
is there any way of increasing car amounts for the rides at the station to increase the amount of people that can get on a ride without creating a second train ? ie at the station youll have gates that allow, say, 20 people on a train but you want to double the entrants to 40, is that possible ?
Is it possible to do the opposite ?? so if the object gets triggered that it turns off... ? i am planning a ride with a waterfall and the waterfall should turn off when the coaster is riding through it...
From what we can tell, not really. Scenery near the ride affects 'Track Scenery Rating' which has a direct effect on how much you can charge for the ride. But that seems to be about it.
Seem to trigger excitement (fun?) for visitors if you have something happen around them. I put a trigger on a coaster passing over a main path, and it made some creaky metal noises, a couple of sparks, and people was cheering, a few was covering their head and biig smiles on all when they passed it.
How come when you click "add trigger" it adds it where the last trigger is instead of at the start of the ride again? I'm working on a very long dark ride right now, and every time I add a new trigger I have to drag it all the way from the start again and it is driving me CRAZY. Is there some setting somewhere?
I would love to be able to set triggers OUT of the Coaster.. like when people walk past it, it triggers a sound, or a flame effect... but maybe it's too complicated for the game to compute when many people visiter your Park...
I've found out that when i use a trigger with a door and i've got a really long coaster train the door would close when my train has only gone halfway through yet.. and there's not timer for the door..
Hey man, nice video. You explained well how the trigger featured worked. However there's a problem with your recording, your voice have different levels on the right and left side of my headset. Take a look at that because it's annoying and would improve the quality of the recording. Take a look at your audio levels in your video editor.
+ZJohnLamberte only one of the three speakers are currently triggerable. They are labelled 'triggered speakers' and work the same way the lights/SFX do in this video :)
I'm having the same issue, I feel like I must be missing something really obvious but I can't seem to find any information about getting sound effects on my coasters.
I need guides for the Planet Coaster Wiki but I haven't had time to write them as I am still trying to get all the decor items updated from Alpha to Beta/Launch. I loved this guide and hope you don't mind that I embeded it on the wiki. I would like to use some of your others as well and embed them into appropriate pages. planetcoaster.wikia.com
This is the first place I've been able to find any information on how triggers work, so thanks!
It's suprising how little the game leaves for you to figure out yourself isn't it? Anyway, glad I could help :)
Thanks! I can finally make doors that open when a cart is near.
I had problems where the cart would go through the door.
Most comprehensive and literate tutorials out there for this game. Appreciate it!
Subscribed!
Having to watch 25 tutorials to play this game is pretty unexcusable.
That said, this is clearly explained, well done.
The in game tutorials aren’t great, you’re right. Glad I could help though!
i know i'm a bit late but damn i love your videos so much, just bought the game with all the packs and now i know i'm gonna watch each video before playing and actually enjoying everything the game can offer!
Thanks for this! I can't wait to get this game and make some dark rides! :D
アトラクションが通過した際の「炎・ライトの点灯」、「扉の開閉」等を解説しています。英語が分からなくても画面を見てるだけで理解できました。
ya
"Flame and light on" and "Door opening / closing" etc. when passing through attractions are explained. Even if I do not understand English, I understood only by looking at the screen. In addition,

Thank you! Should have a new tutorial up tomorrow :)
Geekism Thank you I can't wait to your next tutorial!
That strobe idea is great!
Nice and informative video! I would realy be interrested in more tutotials! Keep it up.

i can agree with the part about brining people to the channel
@@Sammy-ws9re bringing*
Your explanations are so clear! I must be the last one to the party, but thank you for helping me start out :D
photo-taking light idea is fantastic!
+hobbaswaggle neat huh?
Thanks for this tutorial! Just starting with Planet Coaster and I love it! :)
Thanks! There's a good chance this is a little out of date now (I know we got trigger mixers at some point) but glad you're enjoying the game
Thank you for this! So easy to understand.
I know this is later than a lot of people but thanks to this, my wooden coaster Timber Blaze in the biome theme park I'm building is so much cooler, plus the family woodie Mini Blaze next to it.
Well done tutorial. Thank you!
Thanks for watching :)
I figured it out on my own but this is still fun to watch.
How did you change your clock to run a minute per second like that? I'd love to be able to slow the clock down while I build so I could keep the game unpaused while I fine-tune trigger effects, but then put the clock back to a normal/higher speed when done with building.
So basically Jurassic world evolution 2 but six flags
Brilliant tutorial Jonti! Learnt a lot from this one
Cheers Mark!
Thanks you have been a great help im new to planet coaster
Great tutorial! So easy, even I can understand. Thanks!!!

Right?! So far thats the trigger feature I've used most XD
hello! Im new to planet coaster on the ps5, I have a question. How can I make my 90 degree angle up coaster actually go fast enough? The cars just fall down, even when I increased the speeds to maximum
There are so many thing to do in this game and there is no tutorial at all :o Thanks to you! ^-^
Once again, Thanks. I will be referring to your tutorials from now on.
Happy to help!

I needed this tutorial!
Nice Tutorial! Thanks!
Very helpful thanks

Hehe, its ace huh? I'd love real onride photos in the game, but these will do for now!
Great vid, exactly what I needed!
Great video I love it :)
Thanks :)
Nice. Didn't know or even think about having several tiggeres on same object from same trigger (ohboy, English...) like on your "photo" light :)
It's really useful :)
You sound like Jack maate 😂 good videos btw dude
Why would people dislike?
It is a good video
Because there is always someone who doesn't like you.
just bought Planet Coaster and have no friggin clue what to do!!! Is there an order to your videos to...one I shoud start with...then the next and so on?!?!
Thanks very much. Quite helpful.
Thanks for watching :)
Hey, love the video, but what menu did you get the floodlight in and what is it labelled as? Thnx :)
Thank you
Thank you very much! This really helped me :D
Is there a trigger or a way of having lights only come on at night and then go off when its daylight?
Oh my god what is that song at 12:15?? It’s incredible and reminds me of interstellar theme song. I know it’s from planet coaster soundtrack but I can’t find it on the album!!
F-ing life saver my guy
Tnx for all your great videos, so much I lerned from you. Your're the best
That is nice, thanks for sharing
thanks bro
That 4.8 sec after the sequence of .2 sec is triggering my OCD xD Otherwise very good content! I subbed
Thanks, and welcome!
Thanks! But one thing , when I am doing a coaster nobody wanna ride it:/ Can someone help?
does this add to ride excitement?
Very good quality videos! Thank you :-)
Thanks for watching :)
I love this channel, Very good content. :)
Thank you :)
Thank you sooooooo much
Thank you! :)

Thx from Germany
You're Welcome, from England :D
HAH! Mystery revealed , Thanks Again Chauncy

Awsome video and thank you for information mate :)
Is there a way to set a trigger on paths?
Thanks! I was *triggered* by your solid tutorial. :^)
TRIGGERED!!!11!one
DO triggers improve the excitement?
From what we can tell, not really. Scenery near the ride affects 'Track Scenery Rating' which has a direct effect on how much you can charge for the ride. But that seems to be about it.
Seem to trigger excitement (fun?) for visitors if you have something happen around them.

thanks man ! u got a sub
Welcome aboard :)
Do You Want Two Number Nines
How do you do this with flat rides? I’m trying to get plumes of mist to go on and off on the Power Moves ride
I have an alien shooting another but they wont sync so one will be shot for no reason, can I make a trigger between two animatronics?
Thank you :)
John, I'm using ready made hotel yet the guest are not going in!
Could please help me?
Great videos BTW....
Corporate Slave make sure it has room expansion or add perks to attract more people if u want
TRIGGERED
How come when you click "add trigger" it adds it where the last trigger is instead of at the start of the ride again? I'm working on a very long dark ride right now, and every time I add a new trigger I have to drag it all the way from the start again and it is driving me CRAZY. Is there some setting somewhere?
Could you add an extra trigger that does nothing at the start and work from there.
There are triggers on RCT3?
Did they change the delay thing, i cant seem to see that under my nmenu.
I would love to be able to set triggers OUT of the Coaster.. like when people walk past it, it triggers a sound, or a flame effect... but maybe it's too complicated for the game to compute when many people visiter your Park...
I think you're right, it would be too big a processing task... would be ace though!
Why does this remind me of Powerpoint presentation animation?
How to create a coaster like this: launched coaster but before the launch, the rails ahead gets light up. Its something i see poeple do alot
is it possable to set this up for people walking around?
Sadly not
Im going to make a 2016 section in my park, with a harambe ride, a trump tower ride, and a definetly a "TREGGERD" ride
'MEMELAND' :P
After I watched this video I made it so when the train hit the breaks 30 explosion special effects played. It made it look like you exploded
XD
I've found out that when i use a trigger with a door and i've got a really long coaster train the door would close when my train has only gone halfway through yet.. and there's not timer for the door..
That's annoying! I've only used doors as part of a dark ride atm... Perhaps they'll add a timer in the future
hopefully.. i don't see a site where i could write planet coaster about the issue aswell.
You could make a post on their forums. Just search 'Planet Coaster Forums'
What are your pc specs?
Hey man, nice video. You explained well how the trigger featured worked. However there's a problem with your recording, your voice have different levels on the right and left side of my headset. Take a look at that because it's annoying and would improve the quality of the recording. Take a look at your audio levels in your video editor.
My apologies, My Mic is omnidirectional, I normally make it mono, but I forgot on this video :(
I was pretty triggered up until this video. Thanks
lol... You're welcome :D
LOL
how do you add stations to a transport ride ?
Whilst building the track, theres a butoon on the left to select station pieces :)
4.2 4.4 4.8.... what is life
How about the speakers though?
+ZJohnLamberte only one of the three speakers are currently triggerable. They are labelled 'triggered speakers' and work the same way the lights/SFX do in this video :)
i tried it but I hear no sounds from the speakers
I'm having the same issue, I feel like I must be missing something really obvious but I can't seem to find any information about getting sound effects on my coasters.
What is that song at the beginning?
The song is called: Small Hands Make Big Things
Yep! It's one of the tracks from the fantastic game soundtrack, you can listen to the full thing here: th-cam.com/video/a-OiWFuRVf0/w-d-xo.html
I have the game on ps4
My coaster is straight plain lol......
Are you MumboJumbo?
I need guides for the Planet Coaster Wiki but I haven't had time to write them as I am still trying to get all the decor items updated from Alpha to Beta/Launch. I loved this guide and hope you don't mind that I embeded it on the wiki. I would like to use some of your others as well and embed them into appropriate pages. planetcoaster.wikia.com
Hi Kim, feel free! I'll definately be using that wiki!
I’m triggered by this.
4.0, 4.2, 4.4.... 4.8. Where is the logic :l
Ha, I shifted between adding .2 and doubling by accident! It was more just to show the technique :)
Geekism was just kidding ;) nice video.
Mitchell Bouwman I know :) but it's things like that in videos that drive me insane! Lol
well, im triggered ;D
how do I do this with lights
