Beautiful home! Loved the details of the woodwork and the furniture. Houses including mansions do not have ‘lobbies’ those rooms are called the ‘entrance hall’. They often feature a grand staircase. Thank you for the explore.
Hi Rick!❤ Well this house did not disappoint at all! I loved the fireplaces in every room, I’ve always wanted a fireplace but my houses have never had a fireplace. Anyway that house is very cool, thank you for taking us in there
Your intros are always amazing...Wish my abando intros were crisp like yours...Thats an amazing mansion...The fireplaces, the gloss floors and the old furniture are the best features I think
No piano concert today? LOL. Wow, Wow, So Proud to see this Grand Beauty saved.. RangerRick's Best video ever... A Huge Thank You... Oh, Did I miss, no view inside the top of the tower think said was called something else...
Hey Rick, the reason for not smiling was back in the day people had bad or rotten teeth. Dentistry was not as prominent as it is today. Only dentist during that time was exclusive to only pulling teeth.🤯🤯🤯
I watch lots of bando videos but I like your best because of your unpretentious personality and your natural curiosity. I also like the “walking through the front door” view you always present.
How wonderful it must be to travel around and check out these amazing places. Wish I could be there irl, but happy to have your awesome videos to enjoy. Thank you for your excellent work. Love your style. 😁
Gorgeous house and belongings! Those stained glass windows are to die for! Thank you for sharing this…but where are your gloves? Watching you reach into those drawers with your bare hands is very worrisome! Please take precautions. Anyway, I’m looking forward to your next adventure. Take Care.
Great video, I saw a record player like this in the movie "House of Strangers" with E.G. Robinson, Richard Conte. They both were using it in the film. It's on TH-cam. I appreciate the virtual tour very much. Thanks!
This is my family home. I thought we had gotten all of personal stuff out before the t was sold. I assume the city let you in. How long ago where you in there?
I can't believe it's abandoned. It would be tragic if it goes to ruin. It's in excellent condition the historical society should take over or something.
I’ve heard that the no smile thing with old photos is the exposure took like a minute to complete so they had to be still for a long time…the rotten teeth thing makes sense too
People didn't smile in photos back then because it took forever to process the photo. They had to sit still. People around here saying it's because they had bad teeth, no it isn't. These people had money, they had good/decent teeth.

Practice makes perfect.
Love the furniture there. Beautiful inlay on the wood and the fireplaces were gorgeous. Have a great day

Thanks michelle
I wonder who owns this house. It is a shame that this house sits empty. It needs a family to bring joy into it.
So Im actually watching this on utube. Watched the movie also only last week. 🎉 love watching your videos. Keep up the great work. ❤

Rats may have used the wool to make their nest with.
The high chair is a Hitchcock. My mother had one in our kitchen. 1969 thru 1976. Vintage in great condition.

Love it, but where’s the kitchen and attic?
This is my family home. I thought we had gotten all of personal stuff out before the t was sold. I assume the city let you in. How long ago where you in there?
I HAVE SEEN LYNYERD LYNYERD IN CONCERT!!
Gorgeous mansion, did I miss, no entrance to the turrent/top of the tower ?
Well at least this house seems to well kept up for being 118 years old Rick
I agree
I can't believe it's abandoned. It would be tragic if it goes to ruin. It's in excellent condition the historical society should take over or something.
I’ve heard that the no smile thing with old photos is the exposure took like a minute to complete so they had to be still for a long time…the rotten teeth thing makes sense too
I also read up on that, more so than the rotten teeth reasoning.
Bring back the intro and put patreon ad towards the end of the video. You have one of the best intros in Urbex
My granny had a claw bath. I used to scream being bathed in it because I thought it was going to run away with me in it!
YA those creep me out but I also love them a the same time. They look cool.
What kind of base moulding is that? Georgian? How thick is it?
I would like you to show the rest of the house
The Four Star Texas Tyler was a band kind of banjo old timey country music. It's on YT.
What happened to the kitchen and the attic? You missed them. .
There was no kitchen believe it or not
It’s carpet bugs , they live in the fibres and eat away at it
"Have you ever heard of the song..."
Nope, I've never listened to the radio....
Thank you for this tour. Have you stayed in the house at night? 😆
Awsome place did you have to get permission to explore it
There was a women's voice @6:50 what did it say?
Didn't catch it!
I heard it sounds like someone saying wahwoo like yelling at him
I LOVE ❤️ JAPANESE CHERRY BLOSSOM PERFUME!!!
LIKE I SAID I ❤OLD VICTORIAN MANSIONS!!
Someone said back in the day it was a long process to get a photo so they were annoyed by the time they got photographed
Dining room table didn't appear carved but instead mother of pearl inlay
BADASS!!!!!!
The historical homes are made to last.
No smile on pic because Bad Teeth back then..
I wonder if thay are any kin to the sweets sround Ozark Ark?
People didn't smile in photos back then because it took forever to process the photo. They had to sit still. People around here saying it's because they had bad teeth, no it isn't. These people had money, they had good/decent teeth.
People didn't smile in old photos because they would be considered imps, drunkards, children, or fools.
Quite silly in itself if it be told. ❤️🙏
They were considered vain if they looked happy in photos
THAT'S AN OLD VICTROLA!

Jmmy 500👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌞
That poor record
Didn't that place have a kitchen?
It's a clawFOOT tub nor clawleg. Just sayin.😊
I HAVE FAMILY IN ALABAMA!
Kitchen?
It's called a highchair not a booster seat. Not being rude just thought you would want to know. Thank you. 😊
Rats chew up wool to make their nests.
Yes I noticed that.
Maybe there was vampires there and they made it smell like garlic to keep them out
I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful. In Anyway, but you really should be a little more respectful of old antique things.
They also have bamboo in China dum dum that is Chinese not not Japanese
Hideaway, t Texas tyler, gospel, 1952
They had bad teeth !
Bad teeth that’s why no one smiled
You're going to slow.
