I will be making them again in the morning but a double batch!
I made these last Saturday and they came out perfect, beautiful, same as the ones on the video. I was so excited with the results that I almost cried and my husband was so happy for me too because I tried to make another type of bread before and I failed. See if you can find or order vital wheat gluten. It doesn’t take much but it adds the extra protein to all purpose ~11% protein up to be comparable to bread flour ~13% protein. That’s the only real difference in all purpose and bread flour is the protein content but it makes the dough much stronger and you develop (knead) the gluten strands and develop them. Happy baking 🥖

I made this today, and I have to agree; even using 150 ml of milk instead of 250 I ended up adding at least 1/2 cup of flour. That made the dough balls much bigger than the video version; they practically exploded out of the baking pan during baking. Taste and texture is really good though, and a fun activity for those with children.
My dough at first is always too hydrated to work with. I flour my work area and add as I’m kneading. This is my 3rd batch and it’s always the same. And i weigh my ingredients not measure. But by the time I’m. Done kneading my dough is perfect. Best rolls I’ve ever made. I’ve had many compliments.
I just buy second hand bread makers. I pay about $25 Canadian. I don't have the energy to do it all by hand, but I think that dough needs some hand shaping to be extra delicious. Plus oven baking of course.

Since what is shown here does not work for the common viewer, I did it my way: 600 gr. flour, 250 ml milk 1 egg, 10 gr. of yeast, 80 gr. butter 5 gr. salt , 60 gr. honey and 50 gr. sugar. The additonal sugar and honey are for the sweet taste. Only with that quantity of flour I got the dough as is pictured in this video. The result was great and you can also add a filling to the buns as you prefer.
Bread recipes are never exact. It greatly depends on things like your altitude and humidity. The recipe shown in the video worked just fine for me, however I put them into a muffin pan rather than a baking dish.
I followed the measurements exactly, and I ended up having to add like another 1/4 cup flour because the dough was totally unworkable and way too wet. I would use 1/2 cup milk instead of 1 cup. You can always add more milk which would be easier than the hassle of scraping wet dough off your counter.
