住在大學學區附近的好處是吃東西方便,選擇多,價格便宜,但,品質也很普通.
此外,大學附近的機車是一定很多的,會比台灣其他地方多.

要注意安全喔！
整體來說“交通”是臺灣最須注意的危險，其餘 應當可以輕鬆的面對。
在台灣, 人與人之間存在和諧友愛的默契: 即使在小巷弄裡, 沒有任何騎士或司機會故意撞行人. 即使不得已必須以幾公分的距離經過你, 仍然會是溫柔, 小心翼翼. 所以, 你即使是盲人, 你走在以為危險的無人行道的市區馬路, 仍是安全的, 沒有任何人想傷害你.
還是希望機車少些, 不然電動機車也好些, 然後人有路走些, , 從好的環境來的人真的無法習慣, 光是住信義區還是內湖科學區的到了台灣其他地方根本受不了, 有不斷提升生活環境的想法比較好, 不然一直活在第三世界的感覺很差
當然基本上不會有人想故意傷害人
但台灣每年三千多人死在交通事故上是鐵錚錚的事實
我個人感受
南部走在斑馬線上都可能隨時有生命危險
必須要防禦型駕駛防禦型走路
台灣在交通上可以進步的地方還很多很大
街景看起來好像是東海商圈附近，生活機能完善、價格也很親民。我也住附近！
The pretty house at 9:19 is a backpacking hostel, "背包"stands for backpacking, "客棧" means "hostel" which is an old saying in Mandarin. The Bar should be the facility of the hostel.

很多馬路沒人行道,在台灣生活的人的共同感受
東海住很久了，有時候吃膩會往西屯路跑，那邊有中科消費群，那邊店也不錯，再遠一點可以去逢甲大學附近，😊不過住這邊最不方便的就是台灣大道沒捷運。

Taiwan is a part of Chinese territory, people there are speaking Chinese. Can you say Scotland or Alaska is a country? BTW, Taiwan's cities look like villages if you ever travelled to mainland of China. Taiwan's economy is in bad shape, people are forced to leave there...

Anyway, since you're new to this country, are you planning to visit other cities there like Taipei (New Taipei) , Kaohsiung, Tainan, etc.? I wish you can do so as I really want to see places there. I am a Taiwanese and I have to say the poor infrastructure for sidewalks makes us look like a third world country 😩
I lived in Taichung for a year and that is one of the few things I disliked. Unpleasant and difficult to walk around.
@@david-wall Worse in New Taipei City. Taichung is almost luxury in comparison.
Taiwan is beautiful, I was there in 1974. There's sidewalks, but the mopeds block them.
Taiwan is so far from being a third world country. Too old and sick to go visit.
The people are so polite and clean.

9:19 框框背包客棧 It's a hostel
其實當初設計時是有騎樓的，後來的居民不守法規擅自將騎樓違規使用，當時的市政府不管，一直延續下來至今已難管，以致造成無人行道，其實騎樓就是一開始設計的人行道。

Were you born in Kyrgyzstan or Kazakh? Your English speaking is fluent and so did you study in a English-speaking country? I guess there's no problem for you to live in Taiwan permanently because you look similar to Taiwanese! Do most of Taiwanese take you as a Taiwanese or a foreigner when they first see you and before you say anything to them?
I was born in Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 I was studying and learning English in my country, I started using it quite often when I went to China in 2016. Most people can differentiate easily that I’m not Taiwanese but some still mix when I wear a mask 😄
