they added it in one of the updates awhile back, now when you move into a house, as long as other sims live nearby they will come over and welcome you to the neighborhood with a fruitcake.

How to get infinite money in the Sims, without cheats:
1. Move in with the Goth family (Or any rich house).
2. Find a way to slaughter them all by trapping them in a pool or making them starve to death.
3. You have all their money.
4. Congrats.
Edit: Lmao this comment is 3 years old but I still wanna put out that "motherlode" is a cheat and if I remember correctly, I put "without cheats" on this.
Or you can just use motherload
Just move into the house go to Sim edit and then delete the other members. Or you can transfer the other members to worse houses with other sims and be the last one left in either scenario will allow you to have it all.
You can use testing cheats true and then put in money (and then the amount you want)
Well we all know this but if you wanna use cheats just put in motherlode
Just press ctrl+ shift + C and then type testingcheats true and then enter and then put on Money 99999999

Is anyone else still playing with Sims 3? I don't think I'll ever be able to get into Sims 4 with the lack of open world or story progression.
I've been playing Sims 4 more just because I want to give it a fair shot, but yeah Sims 3 is still the best so far. It's so difficult to go from an open world to loading screens.

Melina Perez By what, that I like the open world in Sims 3? I love that you can just walk or drive or ride a bike or broom or whatever anywhere with no loading screens. As a Sims player since Sims 1, that was a huge game changer when Sims 3 came out. Going back to loading screens for every lot is a huge step back, IMO.
Sims 3 is still best but sims 4 has a better sim creator and better graphics.
I still play ts3. I might get ts4 once they come out with an expansion pack that I like though.

+Cece Holt Once on Sims 3 I threw a wedding party. I invited the groom's best friend and right before the cerimony he died of hunger (WHY DID HE NOT EAT ANYTHING FROM THE BUFFET). I couldn't even get any good pictures because the grim reaper was just behind the bride.

Also, after they left for work there was a ping and then a scrolling sound that was Sims 2, (the second ping after the scrolling sound was no sims 2)
ᴍᴀᴛᴛ ☢ I know right
in a near future somewhere in australia, a sims 5 player reported that one of his sims is acting weird. he is always hiding and always flees when the player tries to interact with him. he said he left the game for 2 minutes to google about this strange behavior and when he switched back to the game, the sim disappeared. when he selected him, he saw him runing 2 kilometers away from where he should be.
kenan, the player, said that the sim was able to see and dodge the cursor. 3 minutes later, the sim reached the end of the area and started to cry on the floor.
then, and this is where it gets even weirder, kenan said the sim looked at him. yes, at him. wherever he rotated the camera, the sim knew where it was and kept staring at him. a few seconds later, he pulled out a gun, out of nowhere, since none of his sims got or bought weapons. and before kenan even started to understand whan was happening. the sim raised his arm to grab his own emerald in his hand, put the gun at it and shot the emerald..
he died instantly.
the grim reaper didn't even come to him as if he didn't die according to the game's rules... he had no soul, no ghost. nothing. he just died and his body disappeared.
contacted by IGN, kenan said it never happened again, he only noticed that his sister's savegame, created before he started to play his own game himself, was corrupt.
IGN reported the event to EA. they responded they used the most up to date artificial intelligence for their game but there still can have some glitches sometimes and mrs Coster, spokesperson of the Sims 5 invited players to continue to send reports in order to improve the game.
