Apparently there is a book about an alternative timeline where Germany won World War II. And in their alternative history, where Japan forces were heading down to Australia through Papua New Guinea and thwarted by the ANZACS, the American Fleet didn't end up stopping the Japanese fleet - as they were severely damaged by the German fleet (as Germany had advanced).
Therefore, in that alternative time/alternative world, Australia was taken over by Japan.
Not that I would have minded... that would have made cute lil kiddies XD
But I love the whole multiple world theory - where certain events panned out differently in the alternative world, creating an entirely different timeline to our Earth. Makes me want to watch Sliders again. Man I loved that show!!

I'd like to point out that there are two clear causality loops present, both the one where David existed before they went back in time to model for David, and the one where Washington crossed the Delaware before they went back in time to help Washington raise the troops morale. As such, it is within reason to assume this form of time travel follows the theory that paradoxes are impossible, as anything that happens in the past will have already happened by the time you decide to go back into the past to change something, and as such history already accounts for your actions in the past.
And I would like to point out that there's no way you could hold a lava lamp without burning your hands.

If someone goes back in time and changes something then goes back to the present nothing would change because what happened in the past would have technicaly already happened before the present.
Basically what im trying to say is that if changes did happen you would already notice them before you use the time machine becaus it happened in the past.
CameronV14 no, because that would mean another instance of the warp zone messed with that versions timeline. it would create a paradox. I imagine the warp zone took the concept of multiple timelines and just switched to another.
That's one (and a simple) theory of what would've happened. I don't disagree or agree with what you said because no one has proved so far the time travel exists, but it's just one view.
I also feel like the change that happens might not even be noticeable even to the person who made the change, or the change would happen before you were born so you wouldnt even know it happened.
I dont feel like you would make a change then come back and notice a big change like your house isnt there but your house has changed and you dont realise because the change happened but you cant really tell that the change happened.
I dont even know if that made sense, im just ranting.

1. The fact that noone can keep a secret would make everything about time travel disrupted
2. The only way it would exist is if it was like the animus in assassins in order for it to exist
3. If it wasnt like the animus, then the entire universe would rip and the world would reset. Then heal because it would destroy the time travel, and then continuously rip amd this universe would cease to exist
4. The only way the #3 time travel would exist is if there was an excess portal to replant it back in its time, and the black holes couldnt be because they are omnidirectional vacuums that have no areas of escape.
5. In order for #4 to exist then the universe would have to constantly be splitting
