The quality was really impressive! Imagine having a proper lens from EMAX(without blurry edges). They said their final product will have better lens and proper plastic lens holder. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@nic.hlots of us are using them, we built them. Maybe there is ones in the works I don’t know about. Get a Radxa, RTL8812au model or two and if you go. HDMI out from Radxa to HDZero input
@@MikeCarr07 so it's not a hdzero product you were referring to? Yeah the Radxa zero 3W seems to be the way to go currently. Seems much better than the phone OTG solutions. Going to be nice when we get some proper goggle integration though.
Once again NICE VID. I believe you are in touch with the devs. Congrats on you all. I'm very excited about this project, despite being a Walksnail user. My only concern is that, for Freestyle a 4:3 screen is way more immersive than a 16:9 screen. Do you believe there will be a possibility to change as in many analogic googles?
For most fpv pilots the latency will be fine. Personally I couldn’t feel any latency. Maybe I’m not a drone racer. I would say the latency feels like the DJI FPV system. Cheers mate!😊🍻
nice video man , unfotunately in my area ive just had clouds for the past few days , no sun . What i would do for some good light conditions to fly !!!. Unmanned told me the EMAX units are going to be available for sale this upcoming week so im looking forward to setup a 1S and 2S build with openIPC (though it will be very heavy for a tiny whoop) so i can happily fly indoors.Has there been any update on the openIPC goggles ? im hoping they are available before christmas but perhaps thats just too difficult to acomplish especially with the Thinker air units being almost ready for sale i imagine . P.S (also Bigrookie has released a R2 airunit that comes with a IMX335 with 26.5*26.5mm mounting for about £70 roughly I do hope the thinker unit can compete with that price point)
I wouldn’t trust BigRookie products after the bad experience I had with their WiFi modules. They are great for the 5th of November, lol! I have 2 BigRookie WiFi modules, both are fried. Stay tuned for the OpenIPC Thinker but don’t hold your breath for the OpenIPC goggles. It’s still uncertain how much will cost and when they will be released. Thank you for your support. 😊🙏
This one is the first video of openipc what really makes an impression!

Was this something referred to in the video that I missed?

@@nic.h not 100% sure, @mariofpv has the insider info. I fly with Radxa and two RTL8812au, I don’t have any issues
I am newbie to OpenIPC. I received Emax wyvern and It shows some weired pattern on cam screen. How to fix it?

Yes. There are already 4:3 modes available for the sensors. You just need to set them on MSPOSD settings. Cheers mate!😊🍻
So good, ❤
Cheers!😊🍻
How is the latency? Look forward to having an elrs like standard for video

I will make an 1s whoop with emax vtx, not too heavy if you remove the Shield on wifi chip and add Tiny whip antenna
