судя по всему назревает необходимость написания приложения "openipc configurator" для андроид и ios, чтобы была возможность настраивать камеры в полевых условиях без ноутбука :) ... может быть
Давно пора встроить android в пульт управления. Что бы с него настраивать edgetx, elrs, полётники и выводить картинку с openipc. Сейчас даже недорогие телефону могут 120Гц картинку выводить.
isn't there any way to use the web-interface? (applets are often blocked for one reason or another)
There were plans from others to port it to Avalonia but they never finished it. Maybe someone else will continue the work. Cheers mate!😊🍻

It surely is an interesting project and to me a long ways out to be able to make configuration changes on the fly without needed to lug a laptop around. For instance, changing camera settings for different lighting conditions, or changing broadcast frequency when flying with other people.

the profit margins on those Vrx modules must be massive , cant believe they just slapped on bigrookies network cards , thats quite funny . Just 2 questions from me , do you think there will ever be a point in time where the openIPC guys and bigrookie could get back to a working relationship or is that a bridge that is permanently broken ? and second do you think you could make a video on how to switch out the bin files for the camera sensor ? i know its possible to do on the configurator and i downloaded one of tipoman's bin files but i just cant figure out how to send the file to the openIPC camera , the camera stock settings on the emax air units are pretty attrocious (atleast from what i can see from other video's ) and my camera is super harsh on the white balance so i would deeply appreciate it if a video was made on it . thankyou for all your hard work , keep it coming

This is an Alpha release and of course they are planning to improve their products. I am very excited that such a large manufacturer is developing hardware for OpenIPC. I am confident that we will see amazing things from EMAX. I am planning to help them with any information they may need. Thank you for your support!😊🙏
I thing openipc will get big as Long as the prices keep low. I m very interested but for now I m Not sure about going this step.

i always had the feeling that the fan blows much more airflow when is not touching the heatsink. Feels like zero gap space kind like it blocks airflow from being generated well

Can the firmware for these EMAX VTXs be built by anyone from the OpenIPC GitHub repos, or do we have to rely on EMAX to build updated firmware?
The OpenIPC EMAX Wyvern has the official OpenIPC FPV firmware. You can sysupgrade online or offline via the OpenIPC Configurator. Cheers mate!😊🍻

What is big rookie, what does it mean?
Something that WFB-ng officially doesn’t support. That’s a dealbreaker because in case of future issues we will not have any support from the source code author. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv but what does it mean, I have hear it a lot but with no context. Is it a person, or a project? Is it related to Ruby fpv? is it an alternative to openipc?
It’s a Chinese guy who creates WiFi hardware without asking for our advice and he tries to promote his creations with lies such as 2Watts TX power etc. avoid his hardware, I had bad experience in the past.

@@dfgaJK yes bigrookie has also created an air unit that is openIPC capable although since they did not collaborate with the openIPC Dev's the bigrookie air unit is not officially supported by the openIPC Dev's , the air unit does work but openIPC devs are under no obligation to help with troubleshooting / helping users of the R1 bigrookie unit
