The fact that you do things like spend 5 hours adjusting the length of wires because it's the right way to do it is why I'm here. Your attention to detail is nice to see.

I have done a lot of industrial wiring for automation systems and cutting those wires to the exact correct length is the only correct way to do it. A tangled messy ball of wires looks bad and makes it impossible to troubleshoot properly. Bravo!

Two minutes in and over 50 jump cuts, and at least a half dozen animated graphics transitional effects. Sarah productions are made to engage. Do we appreciate her efforts enough? Do we deserve this type of video quality content? Thank you Sarah.

I have so much respect for anyone who can (enthusiastically) work with automotive electronics… who can look at a jumbled mess and “see” what it can look like after a helluva lot of work… and then make it happen. You did an excellent job recording your work in such tight spaces. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍

Hi, just my opinion, but who cares how other people make videos! I love your monotone humor , and the teleporting penguin is hilarious. I always hate it when people build cars and add a bunch of music and crazy production , showing about 10 minutes of them working on it, and then all of a sudden, it's done. Thanks for the video. Don't change ; you're truly original.

I totally understand how it's hard to build a 'proper' TH-cam video out of this sort of work, but you absolutely make it work. The pacing was great, the editing was clean and effective, and the penguin teleportation was delightful. I've watched this build from day one with nostalgia and love for these cars and I really appreciate all the work you put into making this right. Keep killing it!

I have a VW history, so I first tuned in during the Ragnar build. As a result, I've been here for the Celica all the way through, and I have to say - When you started talking about the dash and putting the little shelf and it's little piece of vinyl - I remembered it. You're so detail oriented in going over this car that we all know this car completely backwards and forwards. That's wild and amazing and part of why I subscribed.

I don't think people appreciate just how much fiddly work is needed to get this stuff to work properly. Thanks for showing your torture I mean work! You can almost see the finish line! Can't wait to see this Celica go down the road for the first time!

I remember those seat-belt/starter interlocks from 1974... My grandparents had a car that had them when I was a kid. The seat-belts just stayed buckled all the time and were shoved into the seam between the bottom and back of the bench seat. Where they'd have been anyway, had that interlock not existed. 😂

14:45 "If it isn't broke. Don't fix it"
Purely for safety reasons, I would absolutely change the seatbelts out for some new ones. Cause those things wear out and doesn't last forever.
It's usually recommended that they get replaced after 10-15 years of use. 🙂

Thank You for “thankless videos”! Seriously! This is why I watch THIS channel. The dirty details that take time and effort. Other car video shows don’t put this work into their videos and focus on the “big, fun stuff.” Big well equipped shops with lots of parts and lots of money showing the same old engine swap. This channel is different. This channel shows the real story. And, you have Penguins! And not just Penguins, but teleporting Penguins! 🐧🤣

as someone who bought a car which had an engine swap back in the 90's and someone with an electrical background i know how time consuming this stuff can be.
I rewired the whole front section of my car, mashing together two different looms to create one that could have been factory.
I also added a different fuse box, from another type of car, so now electrics from 3 different cars are mashed together and i'm feeling way better now, without the crappy wiring, hold together with tape, dangling around inside the cabin.
So i really enjoy to watch this kind of stuff

Most automotive content creators do not include aspects of the more mundane jobs as they are afraid of audience retention declining, particularly in a time of instant gratification and short attention spans. This channel provides a better insight as to what is actually involved. SnT straddles between entertainment and education based automotive content where a majority of other 'builds' focus more on the entertainment side.

7:03 while you can do specific things to help you remember how to put a car back together like labeling and putting your hardware with the parts it goes with. What separates professionals from amateurs is being able to put a car back together when you have no memory of how it came apart. Being able to use logic and common sense and deduction to put the car back together.

Okay.... I gotta hand it to you - the Penguin teleportation special effect was really cool - too bad there isn't actually a video on their teleportation rituals... lol. I love the excellent work you do, and I thank you for sharing so much of it with us.

Been here since the start of the focus( please finish that) but cant wait to see this finished as the attention to detail is insane. 5 hours to correct wire length!!
