Turned out great. Love the MMK products you chose. Such a versatile pattern - I’ve made them really big and quite small. Like you, I just figured my own measurements but maintained the proportions. Make great “friend gifts” - Secret Santa, anyone?!

Hey Brittany! Love your tutorial style. Question: Looks like you use the same stitch length for both construction and top stitching? Unless I missed you switching it on your machine - what stitch length do you use? I worry about stitch length on vinyl - or shouldn't I worry so much? Thanks again for all your tips! I know you've made many Devon pouches so really appreciate the thoroughness of your tutorial.
Thank you. Yeah for the most part on my Juki 1181 I stick to 4.5 for my stitch length. For final topstitch on some bags I switch to 5 sometimes.
Ooooh, one more question: I just heard you say you taught a class on making Devon in clear and jelly vinyl. Will you be recording a tutorial for that on TH-cam? Would love it if you did! Thanks!

It's a TechSew 4800 Pro cylinder arm.
That was so fast, I’m impressed. Just how sticky is the vinyl? I like the glitter vinyl, but my machine, not so much!
This one does stick a little. I've used glitter vinyl much worse though. You can use a Teflon foot and there's some other tricks out there too for sewing it
I dont understand what you mean by figure out the measurements by myself?? If i buy a pattern is the measurements not in it???
The measurements are there and you can use them every time. You will have to trim as you go though. So myself and others like to change them so we don't have to trim (much) while we sew it.
