I have seen these all over Etsy & have so much fabric because I’m a quilter, that I’m going to get the pattern & make my own. I such at zippers, so your video gave me the confidence that I CAN do them. I will just follow along with you when I make mine. Thanks for the great video! I will check out your zipper pulls.
Just finished making my first Devon bag. It’s a great pattern. Had a little trouble using zippers by the yard, but all said I’m going to make a few more. I live your tutorials and watching you sew. Hopefully the next one will go a little smoother. Always look forward to your upcoming tutorials.

I love your videos! I'm new to making bags and don't know what I would have done without your videos. You explain everything so good, even though I have to hit replay a lot.....I heard you say....you don't mind talking. lol Thanks so so much!!
Awesome!!!Just found you today and love your tutorials. I also viewed some passed live video's. Don't want to stop watching but must retire. Just so you know you've already taught this seasoned seamstress, quilter, and bag maker several things to help my bag/purse making easier. Thank you Lauren. I'm going to see you FB page too. Looking forward to viewing all you tutorials and visiting your website.
I love the design and just finished my first bag. For succeeding bags I will also just cut out those front panel pieces separately instead of cutting apart the one large piece as described in the pattern. I found that very messy to deal with the trimming afterward, so I won’t do that again! Just to make it simpler I will also make templates for faster cutting because this is a bag I will want to make for gifts, and as a wristlet as well as a cosmetic bag for my backpack. Another modification I will make is to add zipper tabs on the main body zipper. I prefer the neater look and tabs makes the sides easier to sew. I like to Iron the interfacing on the fabric before cutting out the pattern pieces. It’s much faster than cutting outer fabric, lining, and interfacing separately. Thanks for your tips and the video! If I hadn’t seen this first I might not have bought the pattern, even though I am a very experienced stitcher! I have recently become. A very low-vision stitcher, but a huge magnifying LED lamp keeps me enjoying my favorite activity.

The one I made yesterday I used fusible fleece but only woven fuse on the front pieces. Thanks for your input!!
