Every time I try to sew vinyl and jelly a birds nest happens. Changed machine same thing happen.

I’m so sorry you’re having that problem. I have to turn my tension all the way up sometimes for clear vinyl.

Yes. Depending on the thickness, there aren’t very many layers.
