    It seems so weird he's never supported higher when that F#4 was so powerful and resonant.

    • @resurgingflame
      @resurgingflame 4 ปีที่แล้ว +39

      It's prob bcuz he's so chesty so it's harder for him to go higher. But I mean F4/F♯4 is already high for a baritone already.

      F#4 for a baritone is like a A4 for a tenor. It's pretty high, there is no need of more than that

    I’m a tenor and my lowest note is a G2 and the highest an F#4 ( it’s all in pure chest because I don’t know how to mix )
    You’re not suddenly a false tenor if you can’t go higher than F4

    • @endlessparadox229
      @endlessparadox229 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's true. I'm a tenor, and I can only support around A2-D4 give or take, and my chest voice range is around F2-F4, but I can used mixed voice to go up to Eb5, and Falsetto/headvoice to go up to F#5. In the end though, I'm still not the best singer, I'm still working on incorporating this into a song. If you want to work on mixed voice, I can give you a good video when I look it up in a second

      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you! About the others, I would have to check them in more depth. Scott was easier because there was already a profile about his supported range, but maybe I'll to the others eventually. I already have some clues :)

    • @avanoelle5333
      @avanoelle5333 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pamela Bravo That’s true. I feel like Mitch is somewhere like C3-B4/C5 (but I could be wrong) and he’s consistent with his head voice I just don’t know how much he supports there. Idk about Kirsti or Avi yeah Ik he left lol. Poor Kevin, people considers him a vocalist and but him in vocal battles but he ain’t that bad lol

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't give Mitch the C5s, since he has never hit them live and the times he's done it they are strained. He has the resonant B4 on the Frozen Medley but I think that's the only instance he has supported that note. So I'd go with A4/Bb4 for his mixed voice. I'm a little clueless about his low notes but I know he constantly supports Eb3s, and his low notes in "Find Me" sound supported to me. I'd have to see where he becomes inconsistent. And I'd give him C5/C#5 for his head voice, but again I'll have to check (examples of his true head voice are not very common).
      About Kirstie, she seems very inconsistent with her mix. She has become better these last months, so maybe she has the C#5/D5. She has great lows but sometimes has issues with G#3s, but I know she has supported E3s. And I think she supports a great part of her head voice, E5 at least (well, based on one note I can remember haha).
      Avi has a great mix too. I'd give him C#4/D4 (idk what notes he sings on the Silent Night video but they sound supported too). Onto his lows, he's ok until D2/Eb2 imo, but (again) I'll have to check. And I don't really know if he uses head voice, so it's only chest and mix for him.
      (I'm just trying to keep track of what I think now, but you can totally argue with me haha :) I wanna know everyone's opinions)

    • @avanoelle5333
      @avanoelle5333 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pamela Bravo No I actually agree with you. I thought Mitch was more consistent lol. I know he has supported lower than Eb3 but like you said it might not be consistent. Well all I know is he’s slaying most tenors haha. On the other 2, I agree. But I’m wondering if Avi is actually a true bass cause it seems he starts mixing later for a bass. Probably a bass-baritone. Or is that only me? Lol

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      kpoparina I'm very sure he's a bass. His G#3 already sound mixed, and by C4 you can tell he's not as comfortable. Might be that his mixed voice is very gentle, but he starts mixing very low :)

    What is classified as supported? Doesn't his notes lower than G#2 also have support? E2 on Guy.exe, etc.

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should check his profile on thevocalpoint in tumblr, there it's all more specified. But basically his notes below G#2 don't have support because he becomes too fry-ish, and F#2 (or even G2) and below he lowers his larynx.

    • @CPUgamingnstuff
      @CPUgamingnstuff 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I often compare my voice to his, because my singing range is quite similar. Although I feel like I am an undertrained tenor, because the lowest my voice ever gets is F2 in the mornings, the range just cuts off below G2 at a good day. I can often support G#2, but A2 is a safer bet and can go to F#4 quite consistantly. Higher than that and it's a 50/50 shot. Most likely because my technique is shit. I feel most at home singing in the Eb3-Eb4 range though. Could you recommend a good place where I can seek knowledge and try to understand singing more thoroughly?
      Thanks!

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dāvis Ribners You're welcome! MrSkinnyJeans is a great place to start, I think. He has a video with the basics of singing and a tumblr blog (thevocalpoint) where it's all more specified :)

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I got the Scott info from a blog, so I'm not sure about the others. I think Mitch is C3/C#3-Bb4 without head voice, Kirstin is E3/F3-C#5/D5, and Avi is D2-D4/Eb4, but I'll need to check them in deep for that (though I'm pretty sure about Mitch's). I haven't really checked Kevin so I'm clueless about his range :)

    • @nicktsapras5814
      @nicktsapras5814 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pamela Bravo Ok, I think it goes like that. Doesn't it?
      Scott: G#2 - F#4
      Avi: D2 - D4
      Kirstin: E3 - D5 - E5
      Mitch: C3 - C5 - F#5 (that one in 'We Are Ninjas')
      Kevin: D3 - (?)
      I am not talking about consistency, just their best.

    • @pb2560
      @pb2560  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, pretty much. But I don't know if I would give Mitch so much in head voice... And he has never supported C5s live, so if anything I would give him the B4.
      Do you have examples of that D3 of Kevin? I'm very curious :)

    • @nicktsapras5814

    The ''mix'' voice starts at C4? I don't believe that actually, that's way too early in the range of a baritone, i'm a baritone myself and my ''mix'' starts at F4. I don't think he developed it that much cuz he doesn't use headvoice that much.

    • @pb2560
