Just got a deal for this with three batteries! Looking forward to using this controller and its connection type, wasn’t impressed with wifi repeater connection quality of drones in this price range. But its been very windy this week and this is a light toy so was waiting, now rain 😂
They have the same exact drone and it does have optical flow sensor on the bottom. The manual says it does and it does. If you look on the bottom, there’s a tiny sensor that’s it. It looks at the ground so you can use two modes one GPS mode and the other optical flow sensor, which looks at the ground and maintains it steady, hover
Hi. Nice easy to follow video and not so long that you loose interest. Just wondering though if you could help me with one thing ? Can you tell me what propeller blades would need and also where I could find them cause I’ve looked just about everywhere and can’t find any info at all. Do the batteries come fully charged why i ask is i just bought the green version from Amazon comes with two batteries i pressed them and both had four blue bars so i took it for it's first flight and i really dont feel like i got the 40 minutes stated or anywhere near thanks in advance
Sorry, I meant specifically with the FCC (which I mentioned at the start of the video). In the UK still need to get an Operator ID to display on the side.
If you buy a cheap drone then you'll get the functionality of a cheap drone. If your new to drones and buy someting like this there's a good chance it will put you off ever buying another drone. There's a very good reason why DJI are the market leaders by far.
I'm looking for a drone of this size for the first time. I have a little experience flying them but no where near "competent". What model would you recommend for a beginner? Something like a DJI is in my price range, although I know I'll crash it.
@@ajlukelepuke The DJI Mini 2 has dropped in price and is an absolute monster of a drone. All of my videos are done with my mini 2 so check them out to see the quality you'll get with this drone. Easy to fly. The most important thing is check your surroundings before each flight so your aware of things like power lines, unusually tall trees etc etc..
It goes up and down on Amazon. I was gonna buy it at 179 .By the time I looked at some reviews it had gone back to 229.I managed to get Atom se at 212 before it went back to 260.Just keep an eye on it.
So this drone is $360 AU and the DGI mini 2 is $460. Difference between the 2 is vastly different. For the extra i know we're im putting my money on and it certainly isn't on yhis rubbish drone.
The camera is about average compared to other drones at this price point, but where this excels is its flight capabilities. Yes, it has auto and manual RTH. Thanks!
@@Scot-land well if you have 6 replacement of the same drone like I do, I have 6 batteries to use😂😂😂 and FYI, I have have learned a hard lesson, but I do know holystone drones like trees for some reason😂😂😂

In the UK yes, I mention the FCC (should have been FAA haha) as 95% of my audience is US. But yea, CAA is UK and FAA is US.

No Stupider Words Could Be Said To Someone New To Flying Drones. Get Over Yourself!
Trouble is amazon are now selling this drone for £220. At that price you may as well pay an extra £70 and get the DJI mini 2 se.

@@mikehawk9156 I think even at 179 I'd rather save a little longer spend the extra 100 or so and get the mini 2 se.
The only real "con" is that the app doesn't work with every phone. For the price, you can't really complain about anything else.
