@@saabkyle04 Hi Kyle I remember that green 2000 Buick Century at your dads dealership from 2009 2010 & I wanted to let you know that My Grandfather has the exact same car same year but it’s a Beige colour exterior & has tan cloth interior my Grandfather’s Century is in twice as better shape than that green one that was at your dads dealership long time ago
Kyle I’ve been subscribed to you for a decade and I haven’t seen you in a few years and I am so happy to see you still active and putting out quality videos, thank you for all that you do
11:57 It reminds me to a junkyard start-ups video a long time ago I can say somethings never change Good job Kyle Greetings from a long time fan from Mexico ✌
That’s a nice looking 48 in an unmolested condition and it’s great to see a cold start with choke and then use of throttle control. I noticed some exhaust moisture propagate from under the passenger door towards the front of car and curious if you have a manifold leak at cold start.
My muffler has a couple rust holes in it, I've contemplated just doing straight pipes like my grandpa's car was, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks a lot!
Amazing car! I hope I am running that well when I am 74 years old. I love the common sense naming convention ( two doors are coupes, four doors are sedans). None of this "four door coupe" nonsense -talking to you, BMW. I love that the 95 Ford truck wasn't about to be embarrassed by that '48's start up performance.
We had a 1948 Ford Merc - Dad reckoned it was the best car he ever had! And he had a few - about 13 Ford V8's at one count. His second best [his opinion] was a 1939 Deluxe. I liked his 1959 Customline.
Nice set of 2 ford vehicles those old style videos are always my favorites I enjoyed the sound of the world renowned 7.3 liter powerstroke by Navistar international bro
Kyle, best practice for starting a 7.3 in cold weather is to turn the key on and wait for the glow plug relay to switch off by watching the volt meter, ignore the glow plug light. It takes about 20 seconds or so and you’ll see the voltage meter jump up towards the middle. Try that and let us know please.
I've been following you and your videos for about 12 years and have been a continuous subscriber ever since. I loved the cold start and test drive videos and still do. More of this please, greetings from Northern Germany 🙂
I have a 1948 flathead v8, I use it for church... I go pick up my 80 year old sister, her name is "Snow White "... We go to church every sunday... Then we go for breakfast before returning to our estate... I'm very happy with my car...
Yeah man! It has a 5th wheel hitch in it and I believe it had a gooseneck hitch in it at one point for hauling big trailers. That tailgate makes it much easier to hook one of those trailers up.
I've been following you for 10 years now. for me the best car channel in the whole TH-cam landscape. I have always learned a lot from your careful and accurate style and to be honest I also have sold a car of mine due to your style. So thanks a lot again and keep going like this. 💪
I love that 6V sound! Not bad for a flathead, although i'd prefer a Buick Straight 8 or something. As for that 7.3 is always nice! I prefer the pre-electronic 7.3s aka IDIs. Super clean that would bring some deep pocket money!
Super nice PowerStroke you’ve got there, Kyle. Although I’ve never been much into American cars and trucks, OBS Ford trucks are a notable exception. To many they’re the last true Ford pickup truck before they got “softer” and more aero. To me they’re just tough as nails and the fact that it’s a PowerStroke makes it that much more special. I’d hold onto that one for a loooong time.
I would hardly call the '99 to '17 generation anything resembling "aero," especially not the current '18 to present generation. Those things are about as aerodynamic as a barn door.
@@houseofno - Your convictions aside, the '97+ were definitely seen as "aero" compared to the OBS trucks - a big reason why many didn't/don't like them. In addition, while the 10th gen F150 only ran from 97-04 (not 99-17), improvements in pickup's aerodynamics are something manufactuers have only built upon in the years since. Have you seen the front end of newer 3/4 ton trucks? Why do the front bumpers sit so much lower than before? What's that big piece of plastic on the bottom of the bumper doing there? It's certainly not for looks.
Thanks pal! I was really lucky to have the opportunity to buy it and I'm very happy with it so far. It's not perfect, but it's hard to get these much nicer without sacrificing an arm and a leg!
I love this 48 since I was born in 1948. Amazed you leave it outside. I always wonder how much you have invested in these project cars. Because well being retired money is a factor.
Kyle. I remember the first video of yours I seen was a bright red VW Beetle from 2004 era. That’s amazing. I love seeing how much your channel progressed and it would mean a lot if you replied. You should do a review on an 03 VW Jetta, those things are TROOPERS. I love the PowerStroke in this video, it looks pristine. You’re the best man.
I remember you cold starts at your dads dealership, and your backlot tours! Still one of my favorite TH-camrs! Keep up the great work Kyle!
Thank you buddy!

I love these old style videos! Thank you so much for bringing back an old favorite! Love both of those vehicles.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
The 48 Ford would be one of my dream cars if I could see well enough to drive one.
Oh Yes! Like the good old coldstart-vid's! Love it!
Thanks buddy!
In my opinion the older diesels like yours are the best sounding by far. Love it!
I think so too!
In Canada, Ford had a division called Meteor, which was a cross between a Ford and Mercury.
Two sweet rides you've got there.👍👍
Always loved the old cold start videos this is great
Thanks!
nothing better than the sound of an first generation 7.3 l starting! Good ol reliable Navistar international T444E!
Man that 7.3 is mint
What’s funny is right before the video star it’s a Ford ad came on hell yeah I watch the whole ad because Ford is amazing and beautiful
Man what a sweet truck
Classic cars never die
that 7.3 sounds so good straight piped. and it doesnt seem to get bothered by the 3500 rpm. such a legendary motor.
The chop on the Ford deluxe was something like a Hot rod 🤟🏼 I want a classic flat head my self

6 volt positive ground. Love the sound all my flathead vehicles still 6 volt .. just keep connections clean no issues starting
such a nice truck
i miss the 7.3 powerstroke

You’ve got the best of both OBS worlds with the Dually and the StepSide! I can’t decide which one I like more!
They're both cool in different ways! 😁
reminds me the classic days of davidsfarm....until that went downhill LOL
Dude no kidding! Hope you've been well!!
Omg!! I love the way that powerstroke sounds with that straight pipe!!! Love the Content!!
I just got a flash back to the good old days of cold start dealership and personal vehicles, the good old days.
Yessir, things were soooo much simpler back then, I miss it
Crazy to think that I used to watch your videos when I was 13. Now here I am, almost 30 still watching your videos. Love them!
Thank you so much!!!

Yeah no kidding LOL. It's been that way for a while

These videos are ASMR for me lol. (The vibes of your videos is always calm/relaxing, but I've always loved the start up videos.)
I really appreciate that bro!
Still got the ford and it looks great 👌
