Oh man... back to the glorious old days of SaabKyle04 channel. Thank you for doing this throwback style video, Kyle. Btw, who here remembers the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee With Blown Engine? hahaha.
14:18 I agree Kyle. I love the level of detail you throw into your vids, definitely doesn't go unnoticed. But probably some of my favorite videos of yours were your late 2013 - early 2015 videos, right before you transitioned into being more of a production. The vids were just, idk it's kinda hard to explain.. Maybe go back and watch a few for reference to understand what I mean? It was more of a "show up to a dealer, spend a few hours filmin and whatever you do, then maybe a few voiceovers and short rev clips and go home" kinda thing. Watch your 2013 Ford Focus ST review for example, just to name one. It just seemed simpler but still entertaining and informational. And I feel like they were less stressful on you. At the end of the day, don't overwork yourself, and don't try and make vids to please others (even though I know where you're coming from asking for our inputs - and it's appreciated). You just might burn yourself out in the process though. Make videos that make you happy, the success from it will come as a result. We love ya man!
I liked the ones that were I think 2011-2013 where the thumbnail was a screenshot of the video being edited and you could see the player buttons at the bottom. Those were some of the best videos, the right mixture of content (not too short/long,) and some of the most interesting and diverse cars. Unfortunately those videos were all in 480p so to see some of those cars revisited if possible would be something I’d love to see over new cars.
I love these cold start and simple videos. You pack so much information in your videos now and it is truly amazing but I prefer the older ones. The best car reviewer out there
It's so good to see a glance back to the "old days" of Saabkyle04. I still remember the dealership cold starts and detailing videos, those were the days!! Do your folks still own that dealership out of interest?
I have an '03 Grand Marquis that is identical to yours. Great shape, comfy, low miles, reliable, easy to work on. Bought it myself in high school. I'll never get rid of it. Best car ever.
Love the cold starts. As far as TH-cam goes, so what makes you happy. It’s clear from your comments that you want a change and aren’t happy with the direction TH-cam has gone. So do things your own way and don’t worry about the algorithm, etc. Don’t let TH-cam steal your enthusiasm and joy in cars.
Good to see they are still making diesel trucks in America! I love my diesels I hate going back to driving a gasoline powered vehicle after feeling the torque and low-end power a diesel has to offer.
Loved the video. I haven't been here for the beginning, but I've been here for a few years. I love seeing the transition in your videos. This content was great!
Love these "cold start" videos, Kyle! Thanks for bringing the channel back to its roots. I remember you doing these at your dad's dealership way back in the day. I've said this before, but your channel is pretty much the reason why I purchased TH-cam Red (back when it was called that). I've been a subscriber for over 5 years now...it's become a common joke in my family to "do a SaabKyle review" on something, that's how far your stuff has reached in our world! Keep up the good work, I'm excited to see what's to come in 2019!
If you ever come across one you should review a last gen Monte Carlo (2006/2007). It's my favorite car ever, I had one but it was in an accident so I had to get rid of it. Would love to see a review of a clean one
Damm my hands are freezing watching you knock that snow off with no gloves on!!!!! I grew up in Pennsylvania and now live in San Antonio Texas and I definitely don’t miss doing what you were doing when it comes to snowy weather!!! You got balls brother to be out there filming in that shit!!
Damn how times change...I used to watch you back in 2010-2012 and you used to be so shy (in comparison to this video). You have changed a lot and your videos are good! This is the first of your videos I have watched in years!
This is the reason why I love your channel! Throwback video. Record cars that aren't new either. Some of older models have character we would like to see. A mixture of both let's say haha.
Yes! The content we are all waiting for! After all the time and watching all cold starts in snowy days, finally a brand new one. Thank you for going back to the origin. Nice job!
Hey Kyle, I absolutely love this channel. I've been here since probably 2012 and I'm really glad you're going back to old school style for the channel. And I've been wondering does your dad still have that dealership? And your videos u helped buy me a car which is a 2007 Dodge Nitro, I've had it for almost 4 years and hasn't let me down once. This such a very cool channel and I hope u never stop doing TH-cam videos.
You should do a video of a mint condition 1990 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins. It would be a classic throwback, and it would be amazing to see one of those trucks!
You do not know how much I wish to meet you and join you in your genius experiments and everything related to cars and mechanics💚💐 Eng. Abdullah From the middle east
I think that 3500 needs a zone leveling kit with Fox shocks and upper control arms and some Falken wildpeak at3w tires, C37N/C38N 👈 look into the kit truck would look amazing thanks for bringing back the cold starts !
Throwbacks to the old days! And man oh man that Sierra's Duramax is heaven to my ears, but I desperately need a Grand Marquis like that in my life too - it sounds like it's ready to race! Jimmy's looking awesome, seems to be strong as ever! Can't wait for more :)
I now have 216,000 miles on my ‘92 S10 Tahoe, my grandparents first got it with only 64,000 miles on it until my uncle got it from them in November 2009 and on December 7, 2015 I got it from them with 199,999 miles ( the odometer stopped moving and I had to get another instrument cluster out of a 1992 GMC Sonoma 5-speed with 181,386 on it) My S10 truly has 236,000 miles and still running, the odometer on my instrument is far behind my original that I had.
The start up on that GMC jimmy brings back memories of me and my dad in a work van, he had just gotten it and had no idea about the buzzer. I was in the passenger seat going, dad, you might want to close the door before starting the… Car, long story short, it was too late
Start up the rest of your cars, Kyle. It's really entertaining after you make the same video a while ago, stay safe at winter and don't get stressed. Otherwise you could run to excessive anxiety and even get uncontrolled weight.
DO more throwback videos like this. Starting up personal cars, Cold starts, dealership cars etc etc etc. And give us a test drive of the Mercury. Hopefully the old saabkyle04 comes back lol. Tired of modern car reviews, every car looks the same.
That’s cool how the Sierra goes into a higher idle to warm it up faster, I didn’t know those did that. More cars should do that so we don’t have to freeze for the first 10 minutes after the first start in the cold 😂
I've often wondered whatever happened to your grandpa's Mercury. Glad to see you still have it! I still have the first vehicle I ever bought -- a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500. Hoping to get it back to prime condition one day myself.
I did not know the GMC Sierra Denali HD had a digital speedometer. Interesting. I heard about snow in the tailpipe. It was interesting watching you start your cars. You updated that Grand Marquis. Imagine if Ford/ Mercury had done that. I was wondering about your grandfather. You updated us about him. You will soon have a fleet of digital gauge cars.
Can’t beat a good old cold start video in the snow. 👍. I’d love to see a review of the pick-up truck at some point. Maybe see it loaded up with stuff in the bed, what it drives like on the highway etc.
Saabkyle04 need a snow broom not a snow brush the snow brush will scratch your paint over time. Some snow broom's have a foam head and some have rubber my main tip for the major snowstorm is get one with a pivoting head and a telescopic handle and not one where the head threads on to the handle. the one's that thread on want to spin off when clearing the more detailed areas like mirror's and bumpers. I'm speaking from experience i also keep one of the $0.99 scraper to clear snow from behind the tires and about a 8 inch wide scraper just for ice so it takes less time.
Oh man... back to the glorious old days of SaabKyle04 channel.
Thank you for doing this throwback style video, Kyle.

Just like the old days! Been here for a LONG time!
Yes, i think the same
Has Kyle ever started a vehicle without honking the horn twice and turning the wheel??😂
dont think so its how hes pretty much always done things
It ain't a Kyle video if he didn't
No
😂
GMC Jimmy, no rev counter but you get a huge fuel gauge
Same thing with my dads old Camaro
Peep This I thought they did?
I guess Automatic so meh? Did the manual not have one either? That'd be dumb.
My bmx doesn’t have one
@@ianscheurer the lower trims dont, but most of the higher trims do.
This is what we need back on this channel the good old days!!!! love the cold starts and we need more old used cars !!!!
Oh my gosh yes, the snowy startup videos! Those videos were literally my childhood!
Ford Triton V8 cold starts will forever be my favorite!
Now this is one hell of a throwback!

Dont ever sell that mercury specially its was owned by grand pa
Pls do a cold start
At 9:34 that’s a nice all wheel drive system 😂
This video takes me back to the beginning of Saabkyle04. Around four years ago I was watching the starting up vids. Man, how time flies!
I really appreciate that you are going back to the old days of the channel !
Dude! The old snowy starts are back! I loved the lot vehicles startup videos, still watch them to this day, keep it up Kyle!

Kyle, that Grand Marquis makes me so happy. Panther platforms never fail to put a smile on my face. I bet it would last longer than that Blazer!
Good to see they are still making diesel trucks in America! I love my diesels I hate going back to driving a gasoline powered vehicle after feeling the torque and low-end power a diesel has to offer.

Ben Knights my Grampa has an ss mint condition with 42,000 miles on it. I love the montes also!
I’ve always been curious about those and the similar year impala ss cars. Just think a fwd v8 is a strange idea. 🤷🏻♂️

Leo i’m glad we missed it. people here CANT drive in snow. or even in dry conditions for that matter.
Leo I appreciate your picture
Loving these snowy cold start videos. That‘a how I discovered your awesome channel years ago.
This is the reason why I love your channel! Throwback video. Record cars that aren't new either. Some of older models have character we would like to see. A mixture of both let's say haha.
Its so statisfiying if old cars startup
How come u didn't start up the single cab Dodge Ram right by the Grand Marquis at 11:44? Is it not personally yours?

You should do a throwback dealership startups video at car connections. Those were my favorite videos on your channel!
These snowy cold start videos take me back to 2011 haha, love it Kyle!
The snow is fun but at the same time it sucks. Warm weather and smooth roads are always more fun. Stay safe out there kyle!
You should do a video of a mint condition 1990 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins. It would be a classic throwback, and it would be amazing to see one of those trucks!
I love the in person videos where Kyle is actually talking
because of the cold start videos i clicked on the subscribe button many years ago. greetings from Athens Greece
These take me back to those days when your mom had the Toyota Sequoia and your sister had the 99 Lexus RX. Do they still have those cars?
