Ingredients:
All purpose flour - ½cup (65g)
Cocoa powder - ½cup (50g)
Melted Butter - ½cup (120ml)
Sugar - 1cup (200g)
Egg - 2
Vanilla essence -1tsp (5ml)
Salt - ¼tsp (1g)
Dark Chocolate - 100g

This recipe is great! I have made it several times. I have experimented with it adding peanuts, walnuts ext. But best experiment was adding 2 Tbsp of preferment I had from a loaf of bread going at the same time and gave it a 30 minute rest time. It Made an amazing cake rather than a brownie but was devoured by my children.

How many egg if 3 cups of flour?
I made this brownie twice. 1st using dark chocolate and cocoa powder. It's turned so bitter. So I made 2nd time today. I substitute with chocolate chips and Walnut. Also, reduce cocoa powder. It turned not as bitter. Only thing I think I slightly over baked it. It became quite hard and too dark at the bottom. I used an oblong shaped pan instead of a rectangular one.
Would that make the difference?
Since i used good quality of cocoa powder, the aroma is so delectable yummy

my brownie batter itself turned out good but after it was done baking it didn’t have that crunch at the top and it looked like a cake does anyone know what i may have did wrong?

You can, but I wouldn't. Brownies need butter for much better flavor 😋

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
I tried this and it didn’t work for a very importsnt reason, BAKING POWDER!
Add 1 tsp of baking powder before baking
(Oh and edit: I recommend baking it at a higher temperature because I tried at his and it didn’t bake, at all)

Brownies do not need baking powder. You'll turn a brownie into cake if you do that.

It worked perfectly fine for me I just left it in the oven and stuck a toothpick to make sure it was cooked. But like otherwise it’s a good recepie
