Oh girl, I’m sorry it was so hard for you. I’m glad you found that a brake was needed in your homeschool and had peace in that. God bless the rest of your pregnancy and give you strength!
Thank you friend. It's been tricky! BTW I asked Sharon about the DVDs. They're on lease only! I'll have to edit that out of the video. I didn't realize. Sorry to give you a steer in the wrong direction.
I’m on my 4th pregnancy in 5 years and every time I get pregnant life pauses 😂. I get so tired and nauseous and I can hardly tend to kids let alone the house. Thankfully my kids are 4 and under so no real homeschooling happening just yet! I’m 37 this year so feeling old. This to shall pass and then once baby is born we feel human again and life resumes!
So encouraging! This baby took 2 years for my beautiful husband to decide he wanted to do another one...then it took another two years to fall pregnant. So we will have more than a four and a half year gap between Penny and our new baby. I was a one of three chidlren born in two years...so pretty different from my upbringing. I have so much respect for you!
@@howtohomeschool it took us 14 years of trying for number one. And now it seems I can’t stop getting pregnant 😂. I can see a benefit of that larger gap tho! Pros and cons on either side really. Gods timing is always the best timing regardless. Come this fall we will both have little blessings to snuggle 🥰
Praying you continue to feel better🙏I have been there and know the guilt sometimes we have certain plans and the Lord has other plans for us he knows when we need to slow down and get a much needed break. Good thing your kids are in the lower grades still so its much easier so don't stress mom everthing will be fine.😊
Thank you friend! I am feeling so much better now. I just hit my third trimester and feeling strong. Hoping I won't be too tired though. And yes, I'm so glad they're younger so it's easier.
Congratulations!!! So excited for y’all! I had most of my pregnancies in the summer (so convenient 😅) but If I get pregnant again I’m not sure what I’m gonna do 😂
@@howtohomeschool I have 3. I remember my last one I was sick most of September (I barely managed do some school) The good thing is that I had her right in the month of May when we were finishing the school year :)
My wife has reading challenges but we want to homeschool, I think if we do a video based homeschool program she won’t have to try to read and help them with questions she can just monitor them and help them stay focused???
Yes, it will make it much easier. I usually cook while the kids homeschool with the online teachers. There are lots of video-based curriculum these days too!
Hey, I hope you feel better soon also, if you find you have time to answer my question...science for my year 6 is always such a head spin for me..I have just started the Master Books curriculum by Answers in Genesis. I don't mind it...half the time I feel like I'm not prepared with all the experiments they want you to do for the observation. ( And sometimes it's so pricey cause the materials you can only get in the U.S. ) As my daughter progresses naturally the more difficult the course becomes..Science isn't my strength...I think for the benefit of both of us I would rather have her learn online. Could you recommend a good science program for my daughter or link one you have already done a segment about? Thanks so much!
Thanks friend! I'm feeling so much better. I'm third trimester today...it's gone fast. So very excited to meet my new little one! You know I was researching good science programs (specifically for high school though) just yesterday. Also a second generation Aussie homeschooler here! Your content has been really helpful to our family. We made the decision to pull my eldest two out of school and begin homeschooling a few years ago and within 2 weeks found out we were pregnant with number 4.😂 Like you, each of my pregnancies has got harder and that first trimester was a nightmare with sickness, learning homeschooling for 2, and looking after a toddler. It was like a perfect storm. Good on you for having the wisdom to slow down and pause when you need to. I didn't and I wish I had. I just made things more stressful for myself and kids out of my own insecurity and comparisons. I'm still learning this and bub number 4 is a year and a half now. Through all of these stages (pregnancy, newborn, active toddler who runs away at homeschool outings or needs to be napping), I am learning that I need to adjust and rely on grace. Being ok to let go, do less, and trust God by doing only what he's saying for your family's homeschool is a huge blessing that is really freeing.

@@howtohomeschool No problem! I’m talking to someone she referred me to. Thanks!
Congratulations!! What a wonderful example to all of us Mama's to listen to our bodies and the Lord and just pause when necessary!

How many children have you had? It's so nice when we manage to time them well...although I've never been able to do that :)

don't know if it will be pre or post baby though haha.
