Ellie is so captivating. She’s socially awkward, however this just adds to the charm and intrigue. The ability to express herself through her art and fashion is where she’s most at ease. An outstanding musician, outstanding vocalist, and probably the best front woman around at the moment.

My favourite track? The problem is that Blue Weekend has 11 fantastic tracks, it´s "too close to call" but my top 3 right now would be:
    1. The Beach II - especially when watching the video!
    2. Play the greatest hits
    3. The last man on earth

Great interview! My favorite is Delicious Things. Love the new album. One of the best live bands of this era. No weaknesses in the band as a whole. Each member is elite at their specific craft/instrument.

No Hard Feelings is a really interesting song to me. Although it was originally written as a post broke up song, but i feel a very warm and fuzzy feelings as i listen to it. It a song i always go back to to find the reassurance that everything is okay. Shit happens, accept it and move on. Definitely my favorite song from the album. Second favorite have to be How Can I Make It OK.

I noticed how uncomfortable un true things made her, Ellie has a strong moral compass she seems very trustworthy.

Why does she not look into the camera? Especially with eyes like that.

I think she's inherently shy when speaking one to one with people. She seems much more outgoing when she's on stage. I've seen them live twice. The stage seems to be her element. I don't think she likes interviews much at all.

Because she's trying to not be distracted by looking at the other person. She clearly finds interviews hard - she expresses herself through the music, because then it's not 'her', it's performance her. I get it, but lets be happy she makes great music

She was mostly asked to recall things and her personal opinions, it's harder to take in new information while recalling/forming information its distracting.

Overload from eye contact, highly focussed -- Aspergers? Whatever, it works for her and she's a fine lass ain't she.

she's English, right? she sounds like an American trying to talk like she's English. 😅

I (an American) lived in England for a year a long time ago, and she sounds like some of the chicks who were trying to get into my pants. as I remember, English chicks were very very affectionate!
