I love the combination of smooth and strong tunes of his voices. It was describe his home sickness about his home (and sadly i just learned that he lost his daughter) , thats what i think he try to express to his strong yelling, that he missed and can't even reach her. Even in the end he said let it flow with the nature. But his feeling alone is overflow through the music that he sang. He use the smooth tunes to describe the nature and the strong voices to describe his own feeling to it. It will make more sense once you understand / translate what he sing. sorry for bad English, i think those singers, in the beginning, use a skill named Tuvan which allowed them to produce a fundamental pitch and-simultaneously-one or more pitches over that, it is very special. The main singer also sings in Mongolian style, and he performs this song for his daughter who already passes away, so it is a sad and beautiful song.
it is not exactly Tuvan. It is Mongolian/Mongolian Tuvan voice technique so called Huumii or Hoomii. Technically speaking, Tuvan is ethnic of Mongolian, it is also not wrong to call it Tuvan. But Huumii or Hoomii is not exclusivelly practiced by Tuvans. Tuvans Hoomii is one of many school of Huumii or Hoomii.

Not that his other performances weren't good. It's just that performances from fellow artists/singers of the show like Jessie J, KZ, "Hua Hua" Chenyu were insanely good. Teng Ger Er is his name, which should be three syllables as "təŋ“ ”gə“ ”ər“ when you say it. He is a singer from Inner Mongolia in China and he is a mongolian. HEAVEN is a song he wrote in 1997 when he was 37 years old, and HEAVEN refers to the grassland of his hometown in Inner Mongolia. But the show in this video happened in 2018, that was 8 years after his 6-year old daughter died of some kind of congenital disease. So i think his feelings in this singing must be different from the earlier's, which might mix the love for his hometown and his little daughter, and that's why many female listeners are deeper moved by this version than male listeners. The last sentence of this song is mongolian language which means " Just follow the will of nature and time" , but i think he must not want to. He just wants his daughter could be back.

Teng Ger Er is his name, which should be three syllables as "təŋ“ ”gə“ ”ər“ when you say it. He is a singer from Inner Mongolia in China and he is a mongolian. HEAVEN is a song he wrote in 1997 when he was 37 years old, and HEAVEN refers to the grassland of his hometown in Inner Mongolia. But the show in this video happened in 2018, that was 8 years after his 6-year old daughter died of some kind of congenital disease. So i think his feelings in this singing must be different from the earlier's, which might mix the love for his hometown and his little daughter, and that's why many female listeners are deeper moved by this version than male listeners. The last sentence of this song is mongolian language which means " Just follow the will of nature and time" , but i think he must not want to. He just wants his daughter could be back.

Yes he is an experienced singer. Talking about Singer 2018 check out Hua Chenyu's Nunchucks. He is also a young talented composer and changed the original song to something entirely new within a week. Say something by Kz was actually written by him. Sorry Kz's fans but she actually have a lot to catch up to do. Also checkup Hua singing Tenggir's Heaven...entire difference. But...Dimash is still the best

He is a Mongolian singer, who is singing the song in Chinese language. Background musics are all Mongolian instruments such as horse violin etc. The violinists performed throat singing which is also traditional Mongolian way of singing. Very good combination.
