I believe the website might be down at the moment so ill try here, i am looking at going through a new provider for level 2, does your curriculum brush up on the things needed to build off of form level 1 or just pick up where level 1 leaves off in a sense as it has been 2 years since i took a cfa test now

The website seems to be working, but if you have issues you can email nronen@chalkandboard.org and we will sort it out for you. For Level 2, our materials cover both brush up on L1 and also picking up where 1 ends. You should be in great shape!

Besides yourself which tutor would you recommend? Be honest

We recommend ourselves of course. If you're looking for other tutors, you should research them independently - as an aspiring analyst should do.

Becoming an expert in anything will be defined by your work experience, not by your degrees. A PhD is usually best for teaching. So if you want to work as a professor in academia teaching such topics to students, that's a good degree to have. If you don't then it becomes less relevant. But it's always a respectful degree in any case. Expertise is learned in the field outside of the classroom. The classroom and the degree(s) you get there are the steps "before" developing your expertise. The CFA designation can help put you on that path.
