I took my 1250 Rallye in for a service on 4th April and asked for a look at the 900 while at the Dealers here in Essex, U.K. I was offered an immediate test ride which I did, it’s got 105hp, rides on road really great, suspension is classy and super agile. 219kg with fuel. I’ve decided to swap as it’s better for me. I have a nice 701E too, this bike is magic.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV awesome, kinda wish these manufacturers gave you all the goods when you purchased the bike or showed options prior to release day, the add on can get very expensive. Thanks Dave looks like a great bike. I guess it depends a lot on your budget.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV yeah they certainly appear that way. Love to test ride one at some stage. I still think that a more adventure ready bike with an engine capacity between 500-800 will hugely reduce weight, but it's a compromise with every situation for bikes, we always need to compromise on, weight, power, agility, comfort, tyres, suspension to a point and maintenance etc.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTVyeh 900 GSA has 23 litre tank but I’d rather the lighter dirt focused 900 GS with a 400 km range like all it’s competition. It would have to be the smallest tank out of all of the mid size Adventure twins? Thanks for your reply. Cheers
I was thinking the 900F is more comparable to the Tenere? I hope that speed camera didn’t get you going into Whitfield 🙏 Can’t wait for the 900F videos
Thanks Mad TV, I’m really interested in seeing more Reviews of the 900. It would be really hard to make a decision on which one, the 900 or the 1300. I Ride a 2006 R1200GS and have loved every Minute of it. I still haven’t had any problems with the Brakes or anything else. The Maintenance is so easy to do yourself 😊. It’s going to be a sad Day when I Trade it in one Day. Anyway, Thanks for the Video from Texas.👍👍❤️
Must be young folks complaining about the video/sound quality that don't remember the early days of the internet :-P Nicely done. Carry on! Just got to see both bikes in person for the first time today at a few dealers in the Houston, Tx., area. I really like the look of the 900, but the 1300 will have to grow on me. The prices are getting insane! $20K for the 900 and $30K for the 1300 (US dollars obviously). I just keep wondering where the upper limit is on these prices before people stop buying them!? My income certainly is not going up fast enough to keep pace with the incessant price increases! Looks like I will be hanging on to my 17 1200 Rallye, but new Tractive ESA suspension for it will be here in a few days! Can't want to see how that works in the rougher stuff.
It cracks me up. Here we have access to the Brand Ambassador for BMW Motorrad in Australia and this knuckle head wants to complain about the poor bandwidth. Millenials! Get rid of them I say!
Can we get a reason why they used a 17imch size tyre for the rear wheel instead of an 18inch. I haven’t had any experience with a 17 but I have heard the 18 is better suited off road.
Ducati cop a lot of flak for their airbox position, but we never hear anybody complaining about the bmw. Do we know how to access them on these models? I did have a ride on both at the gs experience in Victoria just a few weeks ago so can’t wait for the your thoughts when your video comes out. Thanks for all the content.
Really like your videos like this, but I think it could be improved with some microphone's for the people you're interviewing in the video, I could hardly hear clubby or the other guy...🤷
Thanks guys appreciate the effort you take to get this info out! I have the 1300 GS Trophy X love it!
Our pleasure! A bit tough at times with band width. But my view is the audio is still ok.

They certainly need some luggage attachments, racks, rear top mounting plate, but all customisable.
I think something is coming that sorts that out

Hi guys, sorry I missed the live, but they look like a serious bit of kit, and BMW have started catering to the masses. And they look mint. 👍🇦🇺
Shit loads better than the 850.

Looks good patiently waiting full review
Coming soon!
hello all - thanks mad tv, odd that it is sachs rear and showa front, hmmm - interesting
Agree. But it works.
Saw the f900gs in person the other day, what a sexy bike.
It is.
Only 14.5 litre tank, about 300 km range. Wish it had a tad more
Remember this is the Enduro version not the adventure versions.

that will be in the full review.
What’s the engine heat like? Does it cook any part of out lower extremities?
Nope.
Will this be a good allrounder like a husky 701? Albeit heavier. Does it compare?
Like comparing Oranges and Cheese.

How so? Is the 900 like a bmw x5 and a 701 like a 4x4 with 35’s?
Review by lip reading, awesome
Noted!
did you film it with a barbie doll camera??
Yep in the rain not using my radio mics in those conditions
Lovely ❤👌
Thanks 🤗

Smaller tank is a problem

Pity BMW did not copy Triumph and put decent brakes on the 900?
Are you nuts?
