I had a dream in 2014 or 15. I had recently left or was about to leave the gospel. A cargo plane swooped low overhead and dropped packages into my cold water lake but I went in anyway so they wouldn't be ruined. I was amazed that the usually frigid water was warm 😊 So many packages more than I could hold ❤

For whatever reason, for which I cannot explain, I'm deeply compelled to really just absorb all matters of things to do with the Jewish people. Not entirely sure why but it almost feels like recalling memories and seeing a golden path forward. It has a strangely familiar energy.

As a jew and musician i came to this conclusion, you have explained it exactly how i thought about it but couldn't put it into words. Amazing.
It all started by someone asking me what's gods favorite number.
    It was 7.
My mind thought right away about the 7 notes
    The 7 days
I've noticed that all what lays in between those 7 notes are "detunes"
Those 7 notes are a concrete form of metric to put the chaotic frequencies into order.
All those frequencies exist within those 7 notes.
Now imagine if there were 8 or 11 notes.
This reality would be totally different (based on the string theory)

Wow, there is so much to unpack. I was reminded of Psalm 66:4 All the earth shall worship Thee, and shall sing praises unto Thee; they shall sing praises to Thy name.' Selah
In turn I was also reminded of a video of someone using a machine to listen to the vibration of plants and turn them into music. It's incredible how all creation does sing to G-d and there is so much of the spiritual world we have yet to discover in the natural world.

You mentioned Breslov, good to note that in Likutey Moharan volume 1 chapter 3 it’s all about holy music vs unholy music and what “tricks” a person can do to de-contaminate their souls from the klipot & Timtum-ha’Lev that it received by unintentionally (or even intentionally) listening to unholy unkosher music…… and the Eitzah that Rebbe Nachman gives us for this is: studying Gemara specifically at night with this kavana.
And of course Rebbe Nachman’s musical approach to life as taught in one of his most famous teachings known as “Azamra” in Likutey Moharan ch.282 - that each person in composing the song of their day & song of their life must always pick the good notes & ignore the bad notes in each circumstance/person they come across, including in how each person views themselves and their own Nekuda Tova & Nekudot Tovot, and then this song of Nekudot Tovot has the power to sweeten & fix everything!
By the way I been following your refreshing style of teaching Torah for a few years now and been excited to see you gaining in popularity d’Kedusha,
may Hashem always bless you to give more profoundly insightful lectures like this!

Ask the father for wisdom and it was granted! Prayer is sound vibration and communication with GOD to receive his blessings. Your energey with your sound and the frequency of your Prayer will result in the blessings. However the prayer needs to come from within.

The alter rebbe mentions that the greatest form of love to Hashem is called "Ahava Raba" ("אהבה רבה"), and it is so powerful that it can transform unholy, sinful elements into Godliness. Interestingly, the name of the Jewish scale is called "Ahava Raba", and it represents the true nature of music - it can take negative, problematic emotions and transform them into holiness.

Sorry but I had to, I really enjoyed your lecture except for one detail. With the word and the snake... the snake represents many other things besides a third force, what's more, there is no negative force that is not from God and therefore it is not negative and stop removing responsibility for a person's behavior in this whole story. And for our purposes, the snake also symbolizes death and birth... When you say snake in the context of Saul, think also in the direction of the renewal (!) of the soul, which in a sense is what he experienced in his healing. The death of the 'old' and the birth of a new being because he himself was at a rate of personal development and the death of the ego is very significant at this point in his life. That's it, I had to give you another point of view in the context of friend and snake and Saul. And by the way, believe it or not, but the snake is also a symbol of medicine due to the quality of illusion that is representative of death and birth. just saying
I think it's time for the snake to forgive religion, and for religion to stop behaving as if there are no shadows, because that's how it is, because out of this taboo, it only does more nonsense, but we won't open it in response on TH-cam. Other than that, an excellent lecture, I enjoyed it very much, thank you

    • @sammylahr3429
      @sammylahr3429 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

In the most loving way possible, saying "no one influenced Beethoven or Mozart" is a profound demonstration of a lack of musical, historical, and psychological knowledge. I'm not entirely sure how you could think any person could be free from influence entirely?
Beethoven wrote classical symphonies, concertos, string quartets, piano sonatas, and operas. You think it's a coincidence that he wrote classical music when everyone around him was also writing classical music? That is INFLUENCE.
More directly, Mozart himself demonstrably influenced Beethoven. Similarly, Beethoven studied with Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) who profoundly influenced him. There are many other examples. I don't know how you think anybody could be transcendent of influence.

The Jewish musical Rebbes of Song, i.e. Kern, Gershwin, Berlin, Rodgers, Simon, Dylan brought song that were influenced by Jewish, Black European and Native American song and rhythm rock n roll. They also influenced non Jewish songwriters - Brian Wilson, Lennon McCartney etc. Bob Dylan plays the modern versions of the harps that David played, piano and guitar in addition to the harmonica. I am not saying Bob is the pre activated Moshiach but Moshiach will play the piano and guitar and write songs at the level and greater than the Jewish Song Rebbes. There will be that new 10th Song that will unfold Redemption.

And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Jeremiah 11:9

Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. Daniel 9:11-12
Hear this word which I take up against you, a lamentation, O house of Israel. Amos 5:1
Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well-favored harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and will set thee as a gazingstock. Nahum 3:4-6
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. Ezekiel 5:8
As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. Daniel 9:13-14
And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? Exodus 32:21
Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testified against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Nehemiah 9:30
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, they turn aside the poor in the gate. Amos 5:12
Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord. Zechariah 1:4
For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed her. Lamentations 4:6
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. Isaiah 1:4-5
But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. Micah 3:8-10
And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shat say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briars and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, not be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. Ezekiel 2:3-7
We have sinned, and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. Daniel 9:5
Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Amos 3:1-2
O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Hosea 14:1
The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers. Zechariah 1:2

But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. Lamentations 5:22

Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly. Nehemiah 9:33

An illusion either has a fundamental truth behind it or doesn't exist in physical form at all. We know music exists and can measure it sonically, so you must mean the former. What do we define about music that seems false or illusory to you?
If you're saying reality is an illusion, sure, from a Kabbalistic standpoint. But then so is everything else within it, and there's no need to specify that music is.
