@@EfraimPalvanov Judah's Rule and Shiloh: As you pointed out, Genesis 49:10 indeed says, "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples." This suggests that Judah's rulership is temporary and will continue until the coming of Shiloh, often interpreted as a messianic figure.
Issachar and the Donkey: Genesis 49:14 describes Issachar as "a strong donkey, lying down between the sheepfolds." This portrays Issachar as a tribe known for its strength and willingness to bear burdens.
The Vine: The reference to the vine connects more directly to Joseph. In Genesis 49:22, Jacob blesses Joseph, saying, "Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; his branches run over the wall." This blessing uses the imagery of a fruitful vine or bough, symbolizing prosperity and abundance.
      By combining these elements:
Judah's Rule and Shiloh: This points to a temporary rulership of Judah until the arrival of Shiloh (a messianic figure).
Issachar and the Donkey: This suggests Issachar as a strong and burden-bearing tribe.
The Vine and Joseph: This associates Joseph with prosperity and abundance, symbolized by the vine.
The phrase "Issachar is the donkey Shiloh tethers to his vine" might be interpreted as a symbolic statement. It suggests that Issachar (the strong donkey) is connected to the messianic promise (Shiloh) and the prosperity symbolized by Joseph's vine. This interpretation weaves together the roles and blessings of Judah, Issachar, and Joseph, pointing to a unified vision of strength, messianic fulfillment, and prosperity.
The connection between Shiloh and the tribe of Ephraim is significant, especially considering the location of Shiloh in biblical history. Here’s a more detailed look at this:
Shiloh's Location: The city of Shiloh was an important religious center for the Israelites before the establishment of Jerusalem as the capital. Shiloh is located in the territory allocated to the tribe of Ephraim, one of the sons of Joseph.
Joseph and Ephraim: Joseph, one of the twelve sons of Jacob, had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Ephraim received a significant blessing from Jacob, making his descendants an important part of the northern tribes of Israel.
Shiloh and Messianic Prophecy: The term "Shiloh" in Genesis 49:10 is often seen as a messianic reference. While traditionally linked to Judah, the location of Shiloh in Ephraim's territory adds a layer of complexity to its interpretation.
The Vine Imagery: The vine imagery associated with Joseph, particularly in Genesis 49:22, symbolizes fruitfulness and prosperity. This imagery can be tied to the blessings given to Joseph’s descendants, including Ephraim.
      Putting this together:
Judah and Shiloh: Genesis 49:10 speaks of Judah's rule lasting until Shiloh comes, indicating a shift in leadership or messianic fulfillment.
Shiloh in Ephraim's Territory: The physical location of Shiloh within Ephraim's land links the messianic expectation to Joseph’s lineage through Ephraim.
Issachar as the Donkey: Issachar is depicted as a strong donkey, symbolizing hard work and burden-bearing.
Thus, "Issachar is the donkey Shiloh tethers to his vine" can be interpreted as:
Issachar's Role: Issachar, symbolized as a strong and hardworking tribe (the donkey), plays a supportive role.
Shiloh's Connection to Ephraim: The messianic figure (Shiloh) arises in the context of Ephraim, Joseph’s descendant.
Prosperity and Fulfillment: The vine imagery relates to Joseph's blessing of prosperity, suggesting that Shiloh brings this prosperity and fulfillment.
This interpretation ties together the roles and blessings of Judah, Issachar, and Joseph/Ephraim, presenting a vision of messianic fulfillment and prosperity intertwined with the labor and support of Issachar.

Shalom you all, Mashiach will come in a way and time nobody will expect. Abba's ways are not men's ways. Mashiach will not die but will usher the messianic age to fulfill Hashem's ultimate purpose . He will rule and judge the nations with the holy ones of Israel from Jerusalem. The time period is not specified anywhere in the Tanakh. The Tanakh does not specify that he will die either. The Tanakh says that there is one ONLY heir of king David to establish the Davidic Covenant. Not two or three. Just because king David and King Solomon had many children, and hundreds of wives it doesn't mean all were entitled to the promise. Just like Abraham was given one son Isaac ( birth right over Ishmael ) as the promise seed to bring forth Israel. Hashem also chose a specific lineage to fulfill his oath to king David. Judah had more than one son but only one was chosen to bring forth lineage of king David. Psalms 89:3,4 ,29-31,34-36 clearly says that the future Mashiach will come directly from his flesh not from a concubine but from israelite woman from the royal house of David and the Mashiach will endure forever.

1 Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? 9 And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

So to be clear, you have said that even God himself does not know who the Mashiach is or will be. You did not directly say this in those exact words but indirectly you stated it. If anyone does not understand what I am saying, it is in reference to your claim that God has set “potential” Messiahs in every generation and that any one of them who would happen to fulfill the five requirements would be the Mashiach. That is saying, logically and according to your reasoning, that God does not know who the individual is. It could have been or could be anyone of the potential Mashiachs you say God has placed in every generation. And that amounts to a large pool of people. It was always my understanding was going to be more specific than that and that he would know who, precisely, and in what timing this Mashiach would come about. That he would be in fact selected by God.

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics will be remembered even after the equally appalling opening of the Commonwealth Games has been forgotten - and that is what the artistic director was aiming for no doubt.
Q: Why should it matter a hoot that the Last Supper was lampooned?
Answer: Because it was a key part of the provision of the salvation of everyone who would believe it.
Here it is from scripture: (the apostle Paul explaining it)
[1Corinthians 15:3-4, 9-10, 13-15, 17-23 NLT] 3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. …... 9 For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I'm not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God's church. 10 But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favour on me--and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. ........ 13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God--for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can't be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. ... 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless, and you are still guilty of your sins. 18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! 19 And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. 20 But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. 21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. 22 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. 23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS ABOUT THE LAST SUPPER: It was the feast celebrating the Passover (one of the seven feasts of Israel) It was Jesus becoming the Passover Lamb… offering himself as a sacrifice so that we don’t have to….AND IT WAS FULFILLED ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE FEAST.
And then, three days later, He was raised from the dead ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS, as Paul said, because on that day he became the first fruits of those who would be raised from the dead.
Are you beginning to see it? God is real, and what He says in the Bible is real. The next feast to be fulfilled is the Feast of Trumpets…exciting, isn’t it? And you get to choose whether or not you believe and are saved.
[1Co 15:52 NKJV] 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
      And again (Jesus explaining it):
[John 3:13-21 NLT] 13 No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. 16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 18 "There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants."
I also, like Paul, was confronted by the Lord while I was traveling. In 1971, I was working for God, (as we all are, because man is a servant creature) but the only problem was that the God of my life at that time was ME! I cancelled my trip, and I have never once since then regretted that decision…so my advice to you is REPENT! (turn away from your sin and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you and come into your life and make you a new person) …and he will. It’s that easy, and the consequences are eternal. Please consider these things carefully.

The Moshiach has already been and gone.
Salvation only comes through faith in the Jewish Moshiach, the rest will perish in Hell.
The atoning sacrifice and resurrection of the Moshiach is the stairway to Heaven for all.

At the 32min mark the lecturer speaks about the expectation that moshiach will be a physical warrior and he points to the war of gog and Magog to substantiate this point.
But, the rambam expressly states that all the midrashim and specifically the midrashim which speak of the war between Gog and Magog are not necessary and integral to identifying moshiach and the messianic times. From the war of gog and magog there is no proof to this point.
Additionally the rabbis taught that "all is in the hands of heaven except for the fear of heaven" so really we cannot win anything for God except in a religious sense so on that basis it would actually make a lot of sense and even more sense to interpret "and he will be victorious in waging the wars of God" to mean religious wars.
I think this point is further validated when we consider really what is the essence of moshiach and clearly that is the restoration of the Jewish people to God and religion. Besides being the primary characteristic of moshiach himself, steeped in Torah, returning Jewish people back to their religion etc
These are the essential and defining characteristics of the messianic era
The rambam explicitly states this at the end of the Laws of Kings
"The rabbis didn't yearn for the days of moshiach for any reason except so that the Jewish people will be free to study Torah and serve the Creator"
And "in that time the whole world will be steeped in the knowledge of GD as the sea is covered with water"
Additional proof is from the Talmud Sanhedrin 98b
Where the possible identity of moshiach is discussed
    Amongst the individuals mentioned
    Rav Yehuda hanosi
    Daniel the prophet
The Talmud sages Rav nachman and Menachem ben chizkiya
The talmud rabbis head of schools, rabbis yannai, Shiloh, and chanina
We can clearly see from here there is no expectation that moshiach need fight physical wars as all these individuals identified as candidates to be moshiach were spiritual warriors and not physical warriors.
Moshiach is a religious figure first and foremost and essentially.

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled amidst rolling hills and verdant pastures, there lived a wise old rabbi. He was renowned far and wide for his sagacity and his ability to solve the most vexing of problems.
One day, a group of villagers approached the rabbi with a serious matter. They had heard rumors that a potential messiah had arrived in their midst and they were unsure whether the claims were true or not. The rabbi listened carefully to their concerns and pondered the matter deeply.
After much thought, the rabbi came up with a plan to determine the truth of the messianic claim. He instructed the villagers to bring him a fresh apple pie and a pile of dog shit. The villagers were perplexed by this request but complied nonetheless.
When they returned to the rabbi with the pie and the excrement, he instructed them to place the items in two separate rooms. He then asked them to invite a local Torah scholar to enter one of the rooms and the village idiot to enter the other room and told each of them to inspect both rooms several times and not to rush into making a decision.
After an hour had passed, the rabbi visited each of the rooms to inspect the contents. To his delight, he found that the Torah scholar had chosen the room with the apple pie, while the village idiot had chosen the room with the excrement.
The rabbi then turned to the villagers and said, "See, my dear friends, it is easier to verify a messianic claim than it is to tell the difference between an apple pie and a pile of dog shit. For any Torah scholar worth his weight in salt can distinguish between the two, while only a true imbecile wouldn't be able to recognize the truth if the messiah was staring him in the face."
And so, the villagers returned home with renewed faith and a newfound appreciation for the wisdom of their beloved rabbi.

Yes but did anyone follow the Messiah?

No Rabbi can say that any person is Messiah. The many requirements for Messiah are in the Torah and only the Messiah can fulfill by doing them in front of many to see and witness. For example:. According to the Torah in Zachariah 9:9 the messiah must present himself riding on donkey, according to the Torah Psalm 22:16-18 the Messiah hands and feet are to be pierced.and according to the Torah Isaiah 53 3-7 the messiah would be despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering and familiar with pain. And the Torah shows indicates two separate appearance of the Messiah, Zachariah 12:10 and they will look on the messiah whom they have pierced. Blessed is Hashem.

Yes Charles Sturt! Yeshua fulfilled all of the many Torah prophecies about his coming...people just need to read Ps 22, Isaiah 53, Zachariah 12 with an open heart. Even the disciples of Yeshua didn't recognise that he was fulfilling the prophecies until after he had ascended back to heaven, so it is entirely understandable that they don't automatically recognise them today. THE LORD'S COMING SALVATION
1 Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. 2 Shake yourself from the dust and arise; be seated, O Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus says the LORD: "You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money." 4 For thus says the Lord GOD: "My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. 5 Now therefore what have I here," declares the LORD, "seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail," declares the LORD, "and continually all the day my name is despised. 6 Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am."
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns." 8 The voice of your watchmen-they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion. 9 Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people; he has redeemed Jerusalem. 10 The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD. 12 For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
HE WAS PIERCED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS
13 Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. 14 As many were astonished at you- his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind- 15 so shall he sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths because of him, for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.
    Isaiah 52

You forgot the 1st job of the moshiach and because of that, you have him on a high pedestal that he's not ready for. He is the suffering servant. What does that encompass. He suffers up to death, time and time again. He is an exile, in the land of the living. He is cut off from G_d, Torah, his people. He wont even know he's Jewish until its revealed to him. He wont know Hebrew, he wont be anywhere near the land. No family, friends or community. G_d divorced him from his mother. Even his very soul is tormented. He endures affliction after affliction, he lives in poverty. When it's time for moshiach to be made known, G_d himself will tell you in a way that their will never be a doubt. G_d will have to purify him, take off the veil that is on him. Think of him from that perspective. He is repaying the debts he and his people owe G_d, when that is paid in full, it will be his time and not before. He will not claim it, G_d will claim it for him.

Hi Rabbi, thanks for publishing your class. Very informative and presented.
You were also correct in that wars that the Rambam speaks of may be holy wars of which he fought many and won, maybe that's why they are called wars of hashem. I just wanted to share with you something that may be interesting to you. In one of his talks, the Rebbe of Chabad explained that when the Rambam says ויבנה בית במקומו, it means in "his" place, meaning that Meshiach will build a temporary Mikdash in his place where he is in Galus, and from there, he will move later to Israel and the final temple will decend from heaven, and to resolve the opinion of the fact that moshiach himself will build the temple, the Rebbe explained that Moshiach will put the doors on that final temple which is considered like building the structure. And Regarding being a musician, firstly I don't know if anyone knows as a fact that the Rebbe has no musical skills however in general, the Rambam doesn't include the musician and children requirements in his qualifications and also says that some of these details will only be fully understood after he arrives so maybe this is one of them.
In General, the Rebbe implied as early as 1951 and many more times after, that he was the Moshiach of our time and will be redeeming us from this exile and in 1992 the Rebbe of Chabad publicly announcing that the redemption has already arrived and Moshiach has been revealed into the world as both חזקת and ודאי, in a talk on (פ' משפטים) and officially began allowing for the first time, for Chabad Chassidim to publicize it to the world. So while we know that sometimes it's hard to understand certain things but knowing the history of the Rebbe and his track record of being very accountable for every word he said, I very much doubt he would have publicized these details if they were not accurate.
One more point, when the Rambam says " and if he dies" there is a big difference between dying or being killed when it comes to this subject and it's discussed there. There was a booklet put out by Rabbi Liberman regarding this topic which I would love to share with you if you send me your contact info.

@efraimpalvanov you mention every generation has a potential qualified candidate so long as the generation merits it. Also, for everyone to validate him as the One; he has to already have these 5 things.
So, are there qualifications of a given generation to merit it, i guess the start of this 5 things that qualifies that One individual, prior to the year 5879. Since the One has to establish a dynasty; would he have to come before 6000 or 5879 to give him the chance to have a 120 year dynasty prior to 6000. I understand that you’re not supposed to make prediction; just wondering whats gonna happen in 6000.
I’ve heard that the One is supposed to come according to scripture (not sure which) by God’s final deadline (6000?) (“in its time”) or sooner if the generation merits it. But what does the generation to do to merit it. And, is it the jewish generation or everyone (jews/non-jews) within the given generation.
This kinda goes back to the way I differentiate judaism and Christianity. Jews’ repentance brings Mashiach. For Christians; Messiah brings repentance or believing the Messiah died for people’s sins and that he is who he claims brings about repentance because people are utterly wicked just before believing. Still not sure if Christians believe that they have to repent before believing or believe, then repent to be saved.
Hope that makes sense. I try to keep comments short;but….😂

We've already been told who Moshiach is. Please ask yourself who these verses from the Tanakh are referring to:
"And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: but I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore." (Chronicles 17:11-14)
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14)
"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (Micah 5:2)
"Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him." (Psalm 2:12)
So, who are these verses from the Hebrew bible talking aout? Surely you know!
"Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Whose hands have gathered up the wind?
Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?

Moshiach is foretold within scripture to come to us in different manners (riding a donkey's colt and coming on a cloud) and would come in differing time periods (at a set schedule and when unexpected.) Moreover, scriptures say that Moshiach can be either someone alive or someone who has passed away and comes back...The early Jewish sages addressed these "contradictions" by concluding there must be two messiahs. But this conclusion was erroneous. What the sages were actually seeing within scripture are the two separate and distinct comings of the messiah. Yes, God's Word tells us Moshiach would be born into our world and then be "cut-off" from the land of the living and then come again. So, who could this Messiah who already came be? And what is His name? Surely, you know!!!
"Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!" (Proverbs 30:4)

The Pharisees and the Scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with impure hands?” Mark 7:5.
Here we come to the term “the tradition of the elders” which is the core of their problem. The tradition of the elders is what they believed to be the oral law, which God gave to Moses on Mount Sinai along with the written law. Just a century or so before Yeshua came, they made a new religion from this oral law which is found in the Talmud. But the Torah itself never speaks of an oral law. In fact, Moses even specifies, and many times over, that all the Law was written down. (Exodus 24:4)
That does not mean that all that is written in the Talmud is wrong. There are many very good things in there. It is an important historical document, but it is not inspired by God. They were so convinced about it and so protective of it, that it brought some of them to say in the Talmud: The punishment of him who transgresses the decision of the scribes is more rigorous than for that which is plainly written in the Scriptures B. San.10:5
This then is the gap between Yeshua and the Pharisees. Between the Torah and rabbinical Judaism. This explains why the Pharisees could not accept Jesus. They operated in two different spheres.
    Acting Like God
Yeshua’s answer is thorough because it is an important issue. Though He does not answer their question right away, He will first go to the heart of the problem. Notice the first thing He says in vv.6, 7.:
“Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
These are strong sayings for they are what separated and still separates Israel from God. Yeshua calls them hypocrites. This is how the Greek language designates an actor, but these people went way beyond the stage. It is good for an actor to get into the skin of the person he is portraying, but it becomes a tragedy when a person believes that they were inspired of God in their doctrines and act as if they were.
In His argument, Yeshua refers to the Scriptures, which is the best defense and offense. It is the first time in Mark where Yeshua cites the Scriptures, for this is where our foundation lies. He begins by quoting a passage that was written around 700 years before His time showing that the problem had not changed. Even today, 2,700 years after Isaiah, we can quote the same passage. What didn’t change? The heart of man.
The original quote is from Isaiah 29 which is an apocalyptic text, speaking of wars and an invasion. This pointed to both the Babylonian invasion and what they will experience in the end times. This was also applicable to what Israel was about to experience close to 40 years after the Gospel of Mark was written. In the time of Isaiah and in the time of Jesus this war and invasion were preceded by an apostasy when people just leave the pure Word of God to attach themselves to false doctrines and prophecies. So as it was then, it is true today as we are approaching the end times. The situations are very similar.
The Word of God Comes First
In His answer, Yeshua gives the prominence and weight to the Bible. Notice the repetitions that they are going against the Word of God.
v.7 They were teaching as doctrines the precepts of men. See the word “as”. Whatever they said, they insisted it was from God and taught it as doctrines from God when it was really their own invention.
8 they were neglecting the commandant of God. The Greek word for neglecting, Aphemi means to stop, to divorce, to give up. v.9 they were setting aside the commandment of God. The Greek word atheteite for setting aside means to nullify, to declare invalid.
13, Yeshua points out the dangerous consequence of moving away from His Word. He’s implying that they were robbing God’s Word of its power. Using God’s Word to support a belief we created is equivalent to robbing God.
When Yeshua begins by saying it is written, the verb is in the perfect tense, as if to say, “it is and stays written”. Now we understand why Yeshua is so angry. They touched His Word. Here we recognize the Spirit of God who, so many times in the Hebrew Scriptures told Israel not to forsake the Word. We see the result here.
    What Foods are Clean?
Mark 7:19 Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated. [Thus He declared all foods clean.]
The way v.19 is translated, it seems that at this point, Yeshua declared all foods kosher and able to be consumed even by Jews. That is what many commentators have concluded. Others have said that it is a scribal error, which is why it is in brackets. For one thing, Yeshua could not have deemed all food kosher at that time, for He Himself was under the Mosaic Law. He said in Matthew 5:17-18
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. He did not come to abolish the Mosaic Law while He was on earth. It says, until all is accomplished. When would that be? The Scriptures tell us in Galatians 3:19
Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made. That is, until Yeshua fulfills it all, which is what He did at the tav (cross), at the resurrection. Thus at the time of Mark 7, the law was still valid and the laws concerning foods were still valid.
So what does it mean that He declared all foods clean? It’s not complicated. Let me tell you the way the Greek renders it. It is one full sentence. This is what it literally says: because it enters not of him into the heart, but into the belly, and into the draught, goes out, purifying all the food.
The point is that the body itself purifies all food that it takes in. It does so by taking the nutrients and eliminating the rest. Therefore the body can, in that sense, purify the food making the body a clean and well-functioning vessel. However, when the heart takes in things from the outside like thoughts, ideas, and temptations, the heart very often does not know how to eliminate the bad or the waste, and keeps it stored up in the heart. So while the body can make all food clean, the heart cannot create a spiritually pure vessel because it doesn’t know how to eliminate and discard all that is bad. That is why we need God.
It is then a question of the heart, for our religion is one which demands a very close relationship to a God who knows and sees all things. There is nowhere we can hide from Him. He is the one who is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). David said, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Not in the remotest part of the earth, not even in Sheol can someone hide from Him. The Lord sees all things and so it all begins with the heart.
This then is the controversy between tradition versus truth. It is sad to see how those religious leaders were so far away from the people. Yeshua’s answer encourages us to ask questions, to think outside of the box, to investigate, and to always keep the Word of God as our first source of truth.
    SHALOM!!!!!!

But it seems maybe a dialectic lies in dual reigns : like Dwd 40 years-- Dwd & ben Dwd co reign 40 years- ben Dwd 40 years- ben Dwd & ben ben Dwd coreign 40 years- and ben ben Dwd reign 40.
(A fun pun: ben ben is the Kemetic phoenix- ben ben stone is the capstone/pyramidion and Dawid was assumed to be (maternally) a Canaan (until Israelite wife and Canaanite wife revealed switcheroo years later) - and so was Dawid called the stone the builders rejected (capstone represents completion/5 sides or uncapped pyramid with 6 is incompletion) the chief cornerstone- i.e., the pyramidion! And Dalet vav and Dalet in pictographic Hebrew otiot the Dalet leather triangular door flap forms the 2 triangles/pyramids as chorev (3 days away)/Sinai (weeks away). (That's the pshat to me even though the two terms seems to used interchangeably)

The most aggegioius act the Church did was to glue your NT to the back of our holy book, which implies it's part of our Revelation which it is not and never has been or will be. “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit[a] of grace and supplication. They will look on me, THE ONE THEY HAVE PIERCED, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, and all the rest of the clans and their wives."

    Daniel 9:25
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One (THE MASHIACH) will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. "
Gabriel told Daniel that The Mashiach would be killed before The Temple's destruction. That happened in 70 AD, 47 years after the crucifiction of Jesus.

Not MoShiach. AND no True Teacher in the world would ever save his Students. Why do you think he's teaching? Because THEY are supposed to save themselves. Another fact is that no Teacher would enslave his Students into relying upon anyone or anything. They are to be self sufficient and rely directly on God, not in some "saviour". There is no saviour, and your expectation simply proves you'd sit around and do nothing about YOURSELF. Jesus never said he would save anybody. The notion was installed, as were your beliefs. Hopefully you're stronger when MoShiach comes - his expectations will be greater than Jesus' requirements. "Save me!" Say it. He will reject you as base, and see as I do that your character is too underdeveloped to teach directly. He won't be looking for the mindset that evidences how you think within you comment. Religion has no place with MoShiach.

The thing is, dear one, that if we really believe that Yeshua is the Messiah we can't not share about it...The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics will be remembered even after the equally appalling opening of the Commonwealth Games has been forgotten - and that is what the artistic director was aiming for no doubt.
