Dumaguete is a great town, city whatever you want to call it, with the amount of good eats around we always enjoy going there. Check out the food at "Why Not" on the Blvd. (Good size serves for us each time) plus a nice selection of breads and cakes other side of main restaurant. 🎉 Explore side streets a couple blocks back from main blvd for hidden foodie gems. Sarap.😋

Congratulation, sir! for the clean bill of health you got. Dumaguete is a pleasant city to spend time in; the downtown area is generally friendly to the elderly folks, and there are no fast cars, so you can cross the street without worrying about getting hit.

Don’t move to Dumaguete City. The price of rent and property is sky rocketing! I live here now and I’m going to leave. The traffic is horrible, almost as bad as Cebu at times. You can find a nicer home in Cebu City for less and Cebu has much more to offer.

I like the Go Hotel. The only thing I didn't like was that they cleaned the room between noon and 2 ... the hottest part of the day. That meant I could not go and take a nap after lunch at the hottest part of the day.
