I guess people expect us to be perfect. Well, no one is perfect. Those who say they run drills and never screw up are full of it. We have shown our mistakes in our drills numerous times. That is how you learn. Not by pretending you are the most bad ass operator on this planet and calling Chris Costa a "Her", but by being humble and learning by your mistakes. Those who expect us to build a cult around Žiga should maybe go hang out on different TH-cam channels. Žiga is a beast when it comes to weapons handling, but you know what? He sometimes does something under pressure that he didn't plan for (like the tactical reload he planned at 01:55 but then did a sport reload). And you know what, that's okay. Train. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Improve. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast :)
Polenar Tactical With all that running around and wearing a balaclava I am amazed that your ballistic goggles didn't get foggy. Can you please tell me what goggles and balaclava did you use? When wearing a balaclava I always have problems with foggy glasses. Thank you!
You guys rock. Don't let the haters get you down. I would say with certainty that they'd be outclassed by your skills. Mistakes or not, Polenar Tactical is one of my favorite TH-cam channels. You're very professional and your videos serve as inspiration to me to become a better shooter. I can't wait for the next one!
I like the incorporation of the log, all the running in uneven terrains and shooting in unconventional stances. It's a nice little addition to simulate battle stress, fatigue and being forced to adapt to whatever your situation offers you. Good video guys.
i agree i learn every tactic from polenar by watching and listening nobodys perfect..thats why you train..so it won't happen when it counts...IN COMBAT! PEACE OUT TO POLENAR TACTICAL..
One of my favorite channels. Keep these types coming guys and ladies. I like the scenerio's your team puts together. Very well thought out and great to watch.
You make this look so easy. Most of us sit with our AK's in our lap and think we could do that. I'm more humble, I get tired just watching it. Great control over breathing.
Intense bro, totally intense. At first I started thinking it was kind of slow, but then I remembered that slow is fast, and fast is slow. Started making more sense and really impressed me. Well done!
Wow, I would so love to do this!!! I own two Russian AKs, a 47 and a 74. And when I get the chance, I head out to the range with my AKs and practice to the best of my ability. Thank you for sharing this video, take care. Greetings from Florida, U.S.A.
This video is really something and very different than other vids out there.other gun channel all typical gunning rambo style. Polenar Tactical is truly something. good job and keep it coming chaps!!!
You did this Perfect! Train, train and train... Keep rocking as your skills are needed soon. Don't listen to the negative comments. You ROCK. I am dong the same in Montana. Getting ready as the shit is about to hit the fan!

If you live in the FRA, (The Failed Republic Of America) then you most likely don’t have a “militia” due to the vast, VAST majority of Americans being sheep, fear zombies and absolute pussies. Americans have gone from hero to zero in less than 250 years …… SAD. - Jason/Freedom Fighter Until Death/Vermont, FRA (‘FRA’, meaning “The Failed Republic Of America”)
Hellyes, this is the sort of practice/shooting I like to do. Dynamic, through the woods, varying heights, numbers, obstacles, blended and certainly not bright/stand-out (white, neon, highly contrasted) targets!!!
this is what I did growing up in the middle of nowhere woods around the house - such fun so when I came back to shooting+guns all these years later, and see people doing such static shooting in all these youtube videos, it's boooring more of this type!
This is good training. Anyone who has the ability to utilize that amount of land should be running drills like this. You'll learn a lot about yourself and your equipment moving, shooting, running, carrying things, and firing from different positions. My only "critique" is the sling. Hardly a big deal. Just unnecessary fumbling. Great work!
I run drills and mess up every day I do it. But, I dont have to look down to reholster, pull mags, or dump mags, If your gear doesn't allow that, I would consider repositioning it or changing it. If you can't do that, do what I do, stand over your mattress and do all three until you dont have to look. When I first got into firearms due to LEO service, first night i got that pistol and once a week for 15 minutes to an hour I would practice jams, reholster, dumping, amd loading. By the third week I could do it all without taking my eyes "from the target or surroundings" Perfect practice makes permanent... Very entertaining video! And I agree with the below comment! Having to lug around that log is a great dead weight training method! Seriously guys, I appreciated this video it makes the AK logger in me quite happy.
You are correct with that, but I would like to add that the addition of MANKA running the course too would be the icing on the cake, (at least for me)! Lol
Nice work, Nice Foot work, Excellent Speed on Target acquisition. People often mistake Speed and Quickness. In the Old West the Best Gunfighters weren't the ones that could Draw the fastest and get off a shot, No , It was the one that could Draw and get his sights on his target THEN Squeeze off a round. You seemed to be in complete control from start to finish, VERY well Done Sir, Very Well Done indeed.
That was so weird, all through the video I was thinking I would comment and ask if you could do a walk through of the cardboard targets because I was curious about the shots on the move and then I got to the end and you did it. you guys are amazing, I love all your videos!!!
Great vids. Ignore the haters. In every subject, be it firearms, martial arts, cars, fitness, there will always be those strange cult-people who develop an unreasonably tight loyalty to a product, an athlete, a driver, or even a youtube personality, and anything touched by that special favorite will become a holy thing for them to bloviate about and insult others. Bashing a thing or person is the fastest way for a person to try to seem like an expert... because it makes them sound like they know what's been done "wrong" or what's "inferior". The truth is, your mastery of a subject is based on the measurement of your results and knowledge, not a measurement of your opinions. Great channel, keep up the good work! AKs are awesome.
Nice one! At the beginning i already thought that the AK Specialist is also a Log-Operator (New shirt?) :P Btw it's a good training method to simulate the carry-weight of a wounded mate especially because a Log isnt that "ergonomic" to grab than a person. As always great Work and now take my Money!
His transitions are accurate and smooth. Not sloppy. And guys, its just a drill... Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. I am sure if his or another's life was on the line he would be faster of course. Also he is being very safe and I like that. That is how speed and accuracy is gained. Start slow, be accurate, be correct, then build speed. That's how its done in martial arts, that's how its done in any martial application if the practitioner is serious. Like the vids man, keep it coming. I have an Arsenal SGL 21. Need a better sling system for it. I like 2 points but the leading strap can get in the way. I also have the Magpul sling for my AR. any suggestions on mounts? Cause I like the full stock the Ak came with.
i updated an sks that looked very much like the ak u guys were using. god i loved that gun. sold it for an AR and love my AR, but i will be getting another 7.62x39 rifle. prob an sks w detachable mags & synthetic stock, just like my old one. they are cheap and absolutely the most reliable guns on the planet
Another awesome guys, keep up the great work. Your AK was the inspiration to customise mine. I tried the Magpul AFG for a while but found it better without.

Thank you :)
Cocobrowny what about the goggles? They don't look like bole x1000
This has got to be he coolest, most beautiful range I've ever seen in my life. You guys are so fortunate, man.
