OMG what an amazing piece, as full of depth, power, and dark fury as revelatory of a profound grounding in the art of Bach, a step beyond the cello suites in some ways, the double bass being a very different instrument.
Who is performing here? Is it the composer? What can you say about the piece and the performance other than what we can here? Thanks for posting!

Hello! The perfomer in this recording is Ondřej Sejkora. You can know more about composer in description up there. I think this piece is really difficult to play because of double stops (it harder on double bass then on cello or violin). I know that he wrote another 5 preludes&fugues like this, but unfortunally we have only this recording. Thank for you comment!
