Living With ASPD (Antisocial Personality Disorder)

- Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) is a form of personality disorder characterized by impulsive, irresponsible, and often criminal behaviour. Individuals with ASPD are often displayed as being manipulative, deceitful, and disregarding the feelings of others. This disorder ranges from poor decision-making to criminal activity. The cause of ASPD is currently unknown, however, genetic and environmental factors, such as child abuse, are believed to contribute to its development. Diagnosis of ASPD relies on the criteria outlined in the DSM-5. Additional tools such as genetic testing and neuroimaging can be employed to assess potential causes and patterns associated with the disorder. Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mentalisation-based therapy (MBT) are all approaches used to treat ASDP. Individuals with ASPD may find valuable support through the exploration of potential helplines.

Having horrible social interactions over a long period probably sets this off.
I think it’s a mix of genetics and this, for sure. It’s basically the personality manifestation of being so sensitive and feeling so vulnerable that you start viewing everyone around you as a threat, and shut off your empathy to protect yourself
It's genetic it comes from a line of family ancestors with the condition to end the generational curse the sociopath or psychopath must sacrifice and not have kids

I realize,I have a APD,BPD. After years of Self work,and practicing self awareness,I turned my weakness to power.It wasn't easy at first, after a while,I accepted the fact,Im not a good person,Im just good to whoever is to good to me,I just fight evil with evil now.
Why should I care about people who abused me some would be my family mothers father 5 stepdads, aunt uncle grandad, well who should I love or trust, love sure trust, well feels like can trust no one, really i think everyone i antisocial or crazy and whatever, and we all need help seriously.

It’s really lonely I know I got diagnosed all we can do is practice healthier ways of thinking for ourselves and the people around us it’s not going to be easy it’s going to be really challenging but I want you to not give up I want you to keep going OK
Not all sociopaths commit crimes most control their impulses but those that can't do end up dead or in jail
