When i started playing i didn't like her because of how hard to charge was her burst, also my first dps was diluc and he's still my favorite character tbh (badass batman bartender), then venti rerun happened got Venti on the last day, and then literally the next day mihoyo went Hulk giving a taco on me, so i decided to level up xiangling along tartaglia
i remember getting her before i even finished floor 3 of spiral abyss, and literally everyone i knew around me was shitting on her. she was my first c6 and second friendship 10 so i have a very soft spot for her. i'm glad that people are finally starting to realise how well she synergises with a lot of characters and how she can actually be the core component in a lot of team comps.
“Xiangling is underrated” Actually since day 1 Xiangling has been praised for being amazing. In EU and US servers the hype died down but in China server she is still highly praised even being the main dps for the national team.
I used her a lot, not only because she was given free, I got some constellations for her very early. Although, it doesnt help that her elemental skill has braind dead AI, which for new players would make her be replaced for exploring for a more versatile pyro unit to light puzzles etc...
this is terrifyingly accurate. my xiangling went from sitting on a bench 90% of the time, doing nothing, to guaranteeing me 9 stars in 3 abyss floors that i struggled with. thank you ily this is amazing.

@@ulysses4231 now that you said it most broken characters hails from Liyue. The only broken non-Liyue characters are Bennett, Ayaka, and Venti. And also every element have its broken Liyue representative. Hydro has Xingqiu, Electro has Beidou, Pyro has Xiangling, Anemo has Xiao (though Venti is more broken), Cryo has Ganyu, and Geo has the literal archon itself. Im not surprised if either Baizhu or Yaoyao will be broken as the Dendro representative.

The thing is, most people already have a good artifact set on xiangling. The damage difference is not that high to consider spending weeks (or months) of resin for a new set. Remember EoSF does not buff guoba's damage at all like CW does (Xinqiu has pretty much the same problem with his E's). Better use those pieces on Raiden or Mona which is more game changing. But if you haven't built xiangling yet then yes, EoSF is the way to go.
Who uses guoba for damage though? Anyway I think Emblem is such a universally good set like Noblesse that it makes sense to farm it since so many characters can make good use of it

"random character" you need to think about how many characters will come close to xiangling with these buffs....a lot of comps use both benny and kazuha but there's a reason why this one is considered so good ^^
got c6 sucrose off the banner. c3 sara. zero fucking xianlings. was mainly pulling for baal/xianling. i really just cant understand how i hit pity twice, got a baal but not the 4*.
Great video! Just a minor correction: at 9:06 the 15% vaporize dmg bonus from CW is not additive with the pyro damage bonus, it’s actually additive to the reaction multiplier in the damage formula (EM).
ahh if thats the case and your not overly commited to raiden moving all the peices to xiangling is better overall because xialing is alot opier than raiden
@@prudenciomangaoangiii403 My Xiangling has been underleveled until now, but I got her up to lvl 80 yesterday and did this just to try her out. She's OP indeed! Raiden is still more fun though, but for abyss and bosses I might switch Xiangling in this way until I have better gear dedicated for her.
thats me but i have a bonus emblem pieces set ( Raiden's old set) that fits like a glove on xiangling and somehow, i got skyward spine from the standard wish and its a good ER weapon instead of the catch.

Xiangling was my first C6 and even before that, I've always loved her character and her ult as it carried me through early game when I didn't know how to play the game at all. Now I have 36 stars on abyss as F2P with Childe international team and she's just so strong! Still fishing for R5 and I have a decent 4pc emblem set ready to go so I'm excited to see how much more she can do. shes my first c6 character too. I’ve barely used her since I was too focused on building ganyu and xiao during that time I resched abyss. I’m building her now so its pretty fine.

Focus on artifacts with primary stat of HP for Bennet and a weapon with high attack and energy recharge. He is a healer and as attack buffer. Both of these happen with his Elemental Burst ability on the floor. Anybody stood inside gets healed plus attack buffed once healed. Use Xingqui with Xiangling once you get her. She's free on the 3rd floor of abyss. Sucrose is great to gather enemies. Rotation could go like this, Elemental Skill, collect particles until everyone has burst available. Hit Bennet's burst, stand inside it and use sucrose burst and catch as many enemies and you can inside, use xingquis burst and run into the crowd while staying inside Bennet's burst, switch to xiangling or whoever and use burst too, throw out elemental skill too. That'll trigger constant hydro and pyro reactions (vaporize), and attack with your highest attack character. Probably Xingqui
What a great start when meta already established in the game unlike OGs player like me that has lvl89 keqing bench because of early game hype back then. Still remember back in the day people build phy xiangling because of NA community say crescent pike is op.
Depending on what AR you are right now, you should focus first on maxing talents in lower AR level. Then slowly stack up on artifacts once you reach ar49. This way you could save a lot of time and resin.
Worse yet, people were slapping Crescent Pike on her and trying to build her as a physical carry, ignoring her absolutely insane burst uptime and damage. This was back in the heady days of not building out supports at all and just pumping all resources into one character and trying to make them a solo dolo main dps.
I think the reason is in early game trying to consistently recharge 80 energy is hard Now people in endgame where ER stat can come more easily people can start appreciate xiangling
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Xiangling. I try to play Diluc. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Yoimiya. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Cyno. My Xiangling deals more damage. I don't even try to play Dehya. I want to play Klee. Her best team has Xiangling. I want to play Raiden, Childe - they both want Xiangling. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the Catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull Engulfing Lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs Bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Homa." I can't pull for Homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
When discussing Zhongli, people usually say that mihoyo buffed him so much because he represents China (which is a very dumb theory imo, but whatever) but oh no, by the looks of it, Xiangling is the character who represents China according to mihoyo, she gets an indirect buff every patch.
I think the reasoning behind that is because vocal CN players/whales were outraged that Zhongli was so weak pre-buff. There was some actual IRL threats to mihoyo iirc. I don’ think they buffed him because he represents China, but moreso as a response to the angry, nationalistic CN fans who tried to make it seem like mihoyo was anti-China because they made the Liyue Archon weak. I think it was more trouble than it was worth which is why the buffed him. Obviously you still have some “bad” Liyue characters like Qiqi or Xinyan, but the fact that he was the Archon made Zhongli different I guess.
@@LeReveurY Leaving the patriotic stuffs aside, Zhongli was genuinely weak pre-buff. He was more detrimental to your team than he helped and the fact that he was the damn Geo Archon only rubbed salt on the wound. MHY was probably testing the water with how weak they can make a character without affecting their sales, and a super hyped up, popular character like Zhongli was the perfect candidate.

I heard that the combo with sayu and xiangling where you roll around the mobs accelerating the burst hits could be more powerful than vaporizing every hit (something like 2.5x times more damage as opposed to the 2x from vaporize). But since I haven't seen any more people testing this I assume it isn't as easy to pull or powerful as a childe/xingqiu combo. Btw thanks for your guide!
@@AnOnlineDweller I left the game a while ago but sayu is up for some really fun combos and it's actually really cheap if you go full em, as you don't need to level up her talents. if those are your only units you should invest in xiangling anyway so I'd say go for it plus, yelan + sayu is a blessing for overworld exploration
I wanted to mention her pairing with Baal seems underrated in this video (although Benette Xinqiu is definitely probably the best support for her) 1. The energy recharge is insane, which means XiangLing's Super gets charged every "rotation" 2. Baal's E means electro with every Guoba and Pyronado attack 3. I still recommend the "Catch" which means you won't have to swap weapon every time you place XL in a team without Baal, but if you think her recharge is enough, you can swap it out to other weapons which buffs crit rate. I started a month ago and I've been buffing XL and Baal only and the results are insane. Personally, Yoyimia (as main DPS) + XiangLing (who E's and Q's and disappears) + Baal + any utility (claymore against shield, Xingqiu against pyro, Qiqi if you need heal etc) worked really well for me.

Great guide. I've been a huge fan of Xiangling for a while. I recently made the switch from Deathmatch to The Catch. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even though my Crit stats were lower, I was actually doing more damage.

I'm so happy Xiangling was my first c6. I remember being really annoyed I kept getting her back then, but thankfully not too long after I started to realize how great she was. She carried me with the early crescent pike physical builds.

There's also the simple fact that is dominant strategy, whereas if a strategy is too strong to the point where no matter what your opposition does, you'll always come out on top, you'll end up using that strategy every time.
Ever since I got the Catch R5 I can now do 60,000 damage vapes in my Childe, Xiangling, Bennett, Sucrose team. She is so strong that she is right up there with the strongest pyro carries in the game. This is mostly because of her incredibly strong synergies. A free weapon that competes with these very expensive weapons is incredible. Interestingly if you use Kazuha then if you already have an R5 Dragon's Bane then the performance is about the same. If you use Sucrose instead then the Catch R5 is a decent upgrade.

Xiangling is definitely one of the best characters in the game. I run this same team too but instead of xingqiu, I use a cracked DPS Barbara. I'm getting Insane damage from those 2 and I can focus my particle funneling to xiangling since barbruh doesn't need her burst.

I really love Xiangling, but I've been neglecting her true potential for a long time because I never knew how to properly build her. Now that I finally unlocked Inazuma, I'm gonna properly build her to be my support DPS again as she was when I started playing Genshin on the beginning of the year.

Xiangling carried me when genshin first came out for the longest. I put her aside when i got my 5 stars but imma start building her as one of my best supports

raiden and xiangling haver here- they actually work pretty amazingly together! raiden can make it so every guoba hit gets an overloaded reaction, broken
I get it. Raiden is great. But Xiangling doesn’t really need her now does she ? There are multiple variations to Xiangling teams. Raiden though ? Not that many. I am saving my guaranteed pity for someone that really deserves it. I can already clear 36* abyss so I am not in a rush to pull new characters.

@@exelr8ight369 Yea, freeze comp is a good idea, you could also do the national team (though you don’t have bennett) you have really good characters, so just pick a few that have synergies together and play them! For weapons: Thrilling tales - Sucrose or any support/buffer, Stringless - Sara, The catch or Dragon’s Bane - Xiangling, Crescent pike - N/A, Mappa Mare - Sucrose, Rust - N/A (rust is mainly for phys bows like yoimiya or tartaglia), Fav bow - Diona, Rainslasher - Idk, Prototype - Xinyan or Chongyun Team comp ideas (not an expert, so just ideas): National with Xinyan: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Xinyan Freeze comp: Chongyun, Xingqiu, Diona, +other Kaeya dps team? Maybe with Chongyun? I really recommend using Diona, her shield and healing really help. Other than that, just pick a character that you like and build around them, or just play with characters you like. You can also keep pulling until you have a 5 star dps, and build around them. Took me a while to realize how strong this character is with childe, I don't have kazuha or sucrose for EM boost, my substitute is Albedo cause using his low energy cost ult gives 125 em to the whole team + is also an off field dmg support with cheap investment

10:30 Just to clarify, "1 to 2" mentioned around in build discussions does not specifically stand for 1 Crit Rate to 2 parts Crit DMG as mentioned, as the damage optimization of this balance works both ways. The mentioned allocation is just the more commonly achievable for common characters.
My favourite team in the game is actually Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Bennett. Its super strong imo and can do some insane damage pretty frequently. Only problem is I cant run The Catch on both Raiden and Xiangling so i use crescent pike for Xiangling, might swap to dragons bane though

Guoba Impact is the real way to play. Something silly you can do if you wanna just have some fun in the open world. Guoba will trigger Raiden's E. If you drop any sort of taunt, and then drop Guoba on it with Baal E active, you get a handsfree overload AOE Guoba flamethrower. Silly stuff, but I love doing it on small groups of hilichurls or Treasure Hoarders while exploring. I've really liked the Kitain Spear on Xiangling since I like to use her on reaction teams. It lets me run more dmg on her thanks to it giving fixed energy back, and focus on dmg artifacts. The Catch is sitting on Baal, and honestly I really enjoy running them two together. Great guide.
The only thing stopping my Xiangling from being fully ready is constellations… I need her C4 but I’m only at C2 😭 I have all of that emblem set and the catch build ready as well…
Whenever someone asks if they should pull for Hu Tao for meta because they need a pyro dps I just say pull for her if you like her but if you don't and you really need a pyro dps, Xiangling is free and you can build her.
And her weapon is free on top of that, in addition to being much easier to play, and having the added bonus of being a more flexible unit as your account develops
While Xiangling with The Catch + Emblem set may pop off, Xiangling with my R3 Dragon's Bane and Crimson Witch set for EM with my Raiden national comp just explodes enemies away 👌
Xiangling is everywhere in almost every team comp either vaporize or melt team both PYRO reso with Bennett or Hu Tao it's crazy she's a free character , perfectly works on any quick swap team with Bennett Definitely Mihoyo is being generous
I just finished Abyss 12 with 9 stars using a Xiangling-Xingqiu-Baal-Bennett and an Ayaka-Venti-Mona-Diona team. My Xiangling has a 60-130 ratio with 153 ER and my Baal only has two artifacts equipped. I don't know if I should cry or laugh because my 3 months-farmed Diluc couldn't even clear the first floor with 3 stars 😭
We almost have the same teams National and Morgana but mine is Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Bennett And Ganyu, Mona, Venti, Diona I raised my Klee since i got her but now she got replaced by Xiangling 😭
Your first team is almost same as mine. Xianling, Xingqiu, Kaeya and Bennett. So good and fun to play. The second one is the VISA team xd Kazuha, Zhongli, Ganyu and Klee. No one survive after a full rotation.

Fun (maybe) fact that I heard (correct me if I’m wrong): Xiangling’s bis weapon is based on which buffer you’re using with her. If you’re using Sucrose, staff of homa is her bis, if you’re using Zhongli, engulfing lightning is her bis, and if you’re using Kazuha, who is her best buffer, then the catch is actually her bis. So in Xiangling’s ideal team (Childe/XL/Kazuha/Bennett) the catch is actually her best weapon!
So because I'm an AR35 person that doesn't know who to main or what to do with their characters, my Xiangling is at a kinda low level compared to my world level. Because of this, I don't usually use her as often, only when I'm in another person's world. But a day ago, I got myself a primordial jade spear (yas) and thought I would start building my Xiangling. After building her to the best of my abilites, I paired her with Keqing, who was at a low lvl too, and they were a pretty powerful duo. Thanks for this guide!
She is good but somewhat chaotic when it comes to grass killing me slowly. In the end I'm required to use her since she is the only character who is c5, thanks for the tip. I'll start building her when I get over the grass killing me slowly

I never explored out side of that except with raiden which send her flying and this comment is a year ago so I don't have any healers or shielders that time. The beginning banner did not give me a noelle but a ningguan. She was my healer at the time XD

“Xiangling is underrated” Actually since day 1 Xiangling has been praised for being amazing. In EU and US servers the hype died down but in China server she is still highly praised even being the main dps for the national team.
She's in like every pyro build comp, ridiculous to say she's underrated at this point.

I used her a lot, not only because she was given free, I got some constellations for her very early. Although, it doesnt help that her elemental skill has braind dead AI, which for new players would make her be replaced for exploring for a more versatile pyro unit to light puzzles etc...
this is terrifyingly accurate. my xiangling went from sitting on a bench 90% of the time, doing nothing, to guaranteeing me 9 stars in 3 abyss floors that i struggled with. thank you ily this is amazing.

And also every element have its broken Liyue representative. Hydro has Xingqiu, Electro has Beidou, Pyro has Xiangling, Anemo has Xiao (though Venti is more broken), Cryo has Ganyu, and Geo has the literal archon itself. Im not surprised if either Baizhu or Yaoyao will be broken as the Dendro representative.

The thing is, most people already have a good artifact set on xiangling. The damage difference is not that high to consider spending weeks (or months) of resin for a new set. Remember EoSF does not buff guoba's damage at all like CW does (Xinqiu has pretty much the same problem with his E's). Better use those pieces on Raiden or Mona which is more game changing. But if you haven't built xiangling yet then yes, EoSF is the way to go.

Great video! Just a minor correction: at 9:06 the 15% vaporize dmg bonus from CW is not additive with the pyro damage bonus, it’s actually additive to the reaction multiplier in the damage formula (EM).

Focus on artifacts with primary stat of HP for Bennet and a weapon with high attack and energy recharge. He is a healer and as attack buffer. Both of these happen with his Elemental Burst ability on the floor. Anybody stood inside gets healed plus attack buffed once healed. Use Xingqui with Xiangling once you get her. She's free on the 3rd floor of abyss. Sucrose is great to gather enemies.
Rotation could go like this, Elemental Skill, collect particles until everyone has burst available. Hit Bennet's burst, stand inside it and use sucrose burst and catch as many enemies and you can inside, use xingquis burst and run into the crowd while staying inside Bennet's burst, switch to xiangling or whoever and use burst too, throw out elemental skill too. That'll trigger constant hydro and pyro reactions (vaporize), and attack with your highest attack character. Probably Xingqui

What a great start when meta already established in the game unlike OGs player like me that has lvl89 keqing bench because of early game hype back then.
Still remember back in the day people build phy xiangling because of NA community say crescent pike is op.
Depending on what AR you are right now, you should focus first on maxing talents in lower AR level. Then slowly stack up on artifacts once you reach ar49. This way you could save a lot of time and resin.
It's funny to think that people initially didn't recognize Xiangling's strength. She's only gotten stronger from then too.

I recognized her burst since low AR days but never thought of building her due to her design.
Worse yet, people were slapping Crescent Pike on her and trying to build her as a physical carry,
ignoring her absolutely insane burst uptime and damage. This was back in the heady days of not building out supports at all
and just pumping all resources into one character and trying to make them a solo dolo main dps.
I think the reason is in early game trying to consistently recharge 80 energy is hard
Now people in endgame where ER stat can come more easily people can start appreciate xiangling

She grabs Bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Homa." I can't pull for Homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.

When discussing Zhongli, people usually say that mihoyo buffed him so much because he represents China (which is a very dumb theory imo, but whatever) but oh no, by the looks of it, Xiangling is the character who represents China according to mihoyo, she gets an indirect buff every patch.
I think the reasoning behind that is because vocal CN players/whales were outraged that Zhongli was so weak pre-buff. There was some actual IRL threats to mihoyo iirc. I don’ think they buffed him because he represents China, but moreso as a response to the angry, nationalistic CN fans who tried to make it seem like mihoyo was anti-China because they made the Liyue Archon weak. I think it was more trouble than it was worth which is why the buffed him. Obviously you still have some “bad” Liyue characters like Qiqi or Xinyan, but the fact that he was the Archon made Zhongli different I guess.
@@LeReveurY Leaving the patriotic stuffs aside, Zhongli was genuinely weak pre-buff. He was more detrimental to your team than he helped and the fact that he was the damn Geo Archon only rubbed salt on the wound. MHY was probably testing the water with how weak they can make a character without affecting their sales, and a super hyped up, popular character like Zhongli was the perfect candidate.

I heard that the combo with sayu and xiangling where you roll around the mobs accelerating the burst hits could be more powerful than vaporizing every hit (something like 2.5x times more damage as opposed to the 2x from vaporize). But since I haven't seen any more people testing this I assume it isn't as easy to pull or powerful as a childe/xingqiu combo. Btw thanks for your guide!

@@AnOnlineDweller I left the game a while ago but sayu is up for some really fun combos and it's actually really cheap if you go full em, as you don't need to level up her talents. if those are your only units you should invest in xiangling anyway so I'd say go for it
plus, yelan + sayu is a blessing for overworld exploration

I love Xiangling so seeing her finally get recognition from the community as a top tier pyro DPS is just amazing :)
I wanted to mention her pairing with Baal seems underrated in this video (although Benette Xinqiu is definitely probably the best support for her)
1. The energy recharge is insane, which means XiangLing's Super gets charged every "rotation"
2. Baal's E means electro with every Guoba and Pyronado attack
3. I still recommend the "Catch" which means you won't have to swap weapon every time you place XL in a team without Baal, but if you think her recharge is enough, you can swap it out to other weapons which buffs crit rate.
I started a month ago and I've been buffing XL and Baal only and the results are insane. Personally, Yoyimia (as main DPS) + XiangLing (who E's and Q's and disappears) + Baal + any utility (claymore against shield, Xingqiu against pyro, Qiqi if you need heal etc) worked really well for me.

Also "Baal"'s E buff characters's burst damage, which benefit both Xiangling and Xingqiu.

@@vandergrift5557 she shines in a lot of other team, but national is where her damage potential is amplified to its fullest. There's also the simple fact that is dominant strategy, whereas if a strategy is too strong to the point where no matter what your opposition does, you'll always come out on top, you'll end up using that strategy every time.
Ever since I got the Catch R5 I can now do 60,000 damage vapes in my Childe, Xiangling, Bennett, Sucrose team. She is so strong that she is right up there with the strongest pyro carries in the game. This is mostly because of her incredibly strong synergies. A free weapon that competes with these very expensive weapons is incredible. Interestingly if you use Kazuha then if you already have an R5 Dragon's Bane then the performance is about the same. If you use Sucrose instead then the Catch R5 is a decent upgrade.
I love these updated videos, keep it up for the future as well! I love to see how older characters can become strong/significant as the game evolves. Imagine Qiqi getting a buff and getting a update video aha
Xiangling was my absolute favourite character at launch, and it has felt so gratifying to see everyone realise her potential.
Xiangling is definitely one of the best characters in the game. I run this same team too but instead of xingqiu, I use a cracked DPS Barbara. I'm getting Insane damage from those 2 and I can focus my particle funneling to xiangling since barbruh doesn't need her burst.

I skipped Raiden precisely because I wanted to build Xiangling with The Catch. It goes so well with her. A cook with a giant fork.
raiden and xiangling haver here- they actually work pretty amazingly together! raiden can make it so every guoba hit gets an overloaded reaction, broken

I get it. Raiden is great. But Xiangling doesn’t really need her now does she ? There are multiple variations to Xiangling teams. Raiden though ? Not that many. I am saving my guaranteed pity for someone that really deserves it. I can already clear 36* abyss so I am not in a rush to pull new characters.

@@exelr8ight369 Yea, freeze comp is a good idea, you could also do the national team (though you don’t have bennett) you have really good characters, so just pick a few that have synergies together and play them!
For weapons:
Thrilling tales - Sucrose or any support/buffer, Stringless - Sara, The catch or Dragon’s Bane - Xiangling, Crescent pike - N/A, Mappa Mare - Sucrose, Rust - N/A (rust is mainly for phys bows like yoimiya or tartaglia), Fav bow - Diona, Rainslasher - Idk, Prototype - Xinyan or Chongyun
Team comp ideas (not an expert, so just ideas):
National with Xinyan: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Xinyan
Freeze comp: Chongyun, Xingqiu, Diona, +other
Kaeya dps team? Maybe with Chongyun?
I really recommend using Diona, her shield and healing really help. Other than that, just pick a character that you like and build around them, or just play with characters you like. You can also keep pulling until you have a 5 star dps, and build around them. Good luck!!

Took me a while to realize how strong this character is with childe, I don't have kazuha or sucrose for EM boost, my substitute is Albedo cause using his low energy cost ult gives 125 em to the whole team + is also an off field dmg support with cheap investment
Kazuha is the most use character now in abyss... If you didn't know, Chinese players already had shown us of how godly is Kazuha

Awesome video as always dude! I’ve been playing Xiangling a LOT more nowadays, you’ve really shown me her true potential and the new stuff just works so well for her, it’s honestly amazing. The Catch also just looks absolutely hilarious on her but I think it just works so well.
Managed to 9 star both current and previous abyss floor 12 thanks to 4pc emblem + catch Xiangling. Such an insane character.

10:30 Just to clarify, "1 to 2" mentioned around in build discussions does not specifically stand for 1 Crit Rate to 2 parts Crit DMG as mentioned, as the damage optimization of this balance works both ways. The mentioned allocation is just the more commonly achievable for common characters.
My favourite team in the game is actually Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Bennett. Its super strong imo and can do some insane damage pretty frequently. Only problem is I cant run The Catch on both Raiden and Xiangling so i use crescent pike for Xiangling, might swap to dragons bane though
i use fav on xiangling, should b using dragons bane prolly but tht low atk ew

I just finished building my xiangling and she’s sooo much fun!
Guoba Impact is the real way to play.
Something silly you can do if you wanna just have some fun in the open world. Guoba will trigger Raiden's E. If you drop any sort of taunt, and then drop Guoba on it with Baal E active, you get a handsfree overload AOE Guoba flamethrower.
Silly stuff, but I love doing it on small groups of hilichurls or Treasure Hoarders while exploring.
I've really liked the Kitain Spear on Xiangling since I like to use her on reaction teams. It lets me run more dmg on her thanks to it giving fixed energy back, and focus on dmg artifacts. The Catch is sitting on Baal, and honestly I really enjoy running them two together.

Just nice, I started building xiangling the moment I get The Catch
Whenever someone asks if they should pull for Hu Tao for meta because they need a pyro dps I just say pull for her if you like her but if you don't and you really need a pyro dps, Xiangling is free and you can build her.
And her weapon is free on top of that, in addition to being much easier to play, and having the added bonus of being a more flexible unit as your account develops

While Xiangling with The Catch + Emblem set may pop off, Xiangling with my R3 Dragon's Bane and Crimson Witch set for EM with my Raiden national comp just explodes enemies away 👌

Its really sad that we can only get 1 r5 catch . im using the catch for Ei so can't use it on Xiangling .
I just finished Abyss 12 with 9 stars using a Xiangling-Xingqiu-Baal-Bennett and an Ayaka-Venti-Mona-Diona team. My Xiangling has a 60-130 ratio with 153 ER and my Baal only has two artifacts equipped. I don't know if I should cry or laugh because my 3 months-farmed Diluc couldn't even clear the first floor with 3 stars 😭

National and Morgana but mine is
Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Bennett
And
Ganyu, Mona, Venti, Diona
I raised my Klee since i got her but now she got replaced by Xiangling 😭

Xianling, Xingqiu, Kaeya and Bennett. So good and fun to play.
The second one is the VISA team xd

Keep wishing for that C4, it's so good, it's like 25% damage increase compared to just C3. For comparison, C2 raiden is roughly 40% damage increase.

@@domiko1504 had to stop building others chars because i got her c4... and today i used 700k mora to lvl the artifacts, luckily i got a crit rate hat and almost everything went to crit dmg, the purple energy ulti set

Your guides inspired me to build my neglected Xiangling who I never used after getting her in Abyss 3-3! Now she's C5 and I almost have her set ready~ (4/5)
i got c5 xianling in a single day, the kazuha banner dropped and shes in it, i got very lucky, hoping to get c6 before it over, although im also rolling for kazuha
last banner i got yoimiyah on the 3rd draw
Fun (maybe) fact that I heard (correct me if I’m wrong): Xiangling’s bis weapon is based on which buffer you’re using with her.
If you’re using Sucrose, staff of homa is her bis, if you’re using Zhongli, engulfing lightning is her bis, and if you’re using Kazuha, who is her best buffer, then the catch is actually her bis. So in Xiangling’s ideal team (Childe/XL/Kazuha/Bennett) the catch is actually her best weapon!
So technically all polearms are her weapons lol
So because I'm an AR35 person that doesn't know who to main or what to do with their characters, my Xiangling is at a kinda low level compared to my world level. Because of this, I don't usually use her as often, only when I'm in another person's world. But a day ago, I got myself a primordial jade spear (yas) and thought I would start building my Xiangling. After building her to the best of my abilites, I paired her with Keqing, who was at a low lvl too, and they were a pretty powerful duo. Thanks for this guide!
She is good but somewhat chaotic when it comes to grass killing me slowly. In the end I'm required to use her since she is the only character who is c5, thanks for the tip. I'll start building her when I get over the grass killing me slowly
You can use Noelle's barrier to negate the damage from grass and to stop interruption from enemies. Works really well for me.

@@escapetherace1943 xiangling is always with my childe team which is bennet, xingqiu, and childe. I never explored out side of that except with raiden which send her flying and this comment is a year ago so I don't have any healers or shielders that time. The beginning banner did not give me a noelle but a ningguan. She was my healer at the time XD
