Exactly. He also wants Big to snitch on some real hittas. Big wasn't in any position to go to war with Henchmen and the likes if it got back that he was talking. He puts his whole family in danger doing that. For what? So Pac can also go and get himself killed too? Hell nawl
Biggie did the right thing by minding his business. Tupac knew where it came from, he even mentioned names in his songs and learned exactly who was there from Prison. Biggie getting involved would mean putting a target on his Mom, daughter and loved ones that still lived in Brooklyn at that time.

Tupac should've just listened to what Biggie told him. Those were some real killers Tupac was hanging with and Biggie didn't want his name mixed up in it. I don't blame Biggie. He warned Tupac so he should've never been mad at Biggie.
@healthnurture8025 No, he shouldn't have. You, Boyz, are going to have to face the reality. Pac was young wild and didn't give a fuck. Coming from someone who used to live like that. He didn't value his life as much as you did. If the beef was up, you don't ask questions until after period point blank. He was in shootouts all the time in the Bay. That's why he moved. He fought a whole set of name brand Crips with Treach(another wild one) in LA, that's why he got so much respect in LA. These dudes lived by the day. I disagree wit’ Eiht… Telling ya homie who shot and robbed him isn’t snitching and doesn’t have a Damn thing 2 do wit’ no code… I think BIG was scared 2 get involved because he knew the cats that shot PAC are Gangsta’s and he didn’t want that smoke… He did his part by warning PAC about them initially…. #1K
From tupacs perspective it's not snitching. But From jimmy henchmans perspective they would've looked at biggie as a snitch. And that would've put a target on his back. Biggie and his family would've had to leave new york.
Biggie already let Pac know to keep away from them guys and even visited him in the hospital. Pac was rewriting street code by blaming Biggie because Biggie was a soft target. Sad trickle down effect. Rip to both.
Only blamed BIG for not warning him that they were there.. In the heat of the moment your friend is in the same building as your shooters what are you going to think?
Tupac was my favorite rapper since he was still alive, and I was a big an of Biggie too cause back then the internet wasn't around and not everybody knew there was even a beef until Hit Em Up came out unless you were reading all the interviews in Vibe which not everybody was - but if everybody is being honest here and if you were alive back then Tupac wouldn't of been blaming Biggie or being mad at Biggie whatsoever if Biggie wasn't as massively successful as he was while Pac was in jail - Biggie was literally everywhere on every remix and guest feature that whole year while Tupac was in prison - I truly believe that fueled his anger and the beef was supposed to be a business move - If Biggie was a bum who flopped there would be no beef

If that's the case, Biggie was wise not to tell Pac who robbed and shot him if he knew, otherwise Biggie would of been an easy target in his home city.
People are forgetting Pac mentioned he had a conversation with Biggie days before he got shot about something that was gonna go down, when Pac asked him what he meant he said “I’ll talk to you about it later”. After he got shot he asks Biggie what was he gonna talk to him about, then Biggie started ignoring him. Pac was also mad at Biggie because he wasn’t returning his calls, didn’t put money in his books and didn’t visit him. He took a gun case for him and he felt like Biggie was abandoning him. Then “Who Shot Ya?” drops and all hell breaks loose.
I’ve always felt the same way. And even if Biggie had told Pac who shot him, Biggie’s life would be targeted. Biggie was wise enough to warn Pac about the kind of people he was hanging around with.

You make a good point... Here's the kicker though, before Pac got to Quad studios which I believe he was already scheduled to go to, which was why he was on that street to begin with, previously in a phone conversation he was talking smack on the phone to Jimmy Henchman and was threatening him... Henchman was in the building the day Pac went to Quad... Before entering the building Pac & Lil Cease were yelling to each other (rooftop to floor level)... It was no secret Pac was outside the building about to go inside... Okay... If you know anything about Jimmy Henchman you know he's not the one to f**k with... @@ThurroAlexander Peace. You know a lot of what others don’t know, that’s good. Let me add on that Pac knew what time it was, that’s why he was strapped. For you heads that weren’t adults in the 90s, rappers weren’t rich then. Pac made decent money, but he wasn’t rich. He only had the house he bought for Afeni in Georgia and the cars they drove down there. In NY and LA, Pac was on some hotel ish, which the label was taking out of his recording expenses. He couldn’t afford $40K worth of jewelry. Jimmy and Haitian Jack gifted most of those jewels to Pac because they were trying to woo him into a management deal. When Pac discovered that Puffy and other rappers were being extorted this way, he dissed these men in an earlier interview, and it got back to these “real NY street dudes”. To punish Pac being mouthy, Jimmy setup the jewelry repo at Quad. It just got out of control because Pac stayed in his street character all the time. I love that dude’s music, but I don’t worship him OR Biggie. These brothas were just men. They both had flaws like humans do. They both told lies, and they both took care of a lot of people. If you know any Geminis, you know that it’s always a roll of the dice with them. I just wish Pac was more loyal to Afeni’s teachings than he was to his street comrades. Peace
I disagree with M.C. Eight that Pac would've exposed the niggaz that shot him if Biggie had told him who did it. First of all Pac already dissed the niggaz in the daily news for extorting New York rappers, and Pac never made a song about them extorting niggaz. Also, Pac had found out from niggaz in jail and also from his cousin in jail that it was Biggie's homeboys that shot him, and the nigga that shot Pac was sending Pac messages through Stretch (Pac's closest road dog) asking Pac why he fought back and telling Pac that they was just trying to take his jewelry. So Pac knew the nigga that set him up to get robbed but Pac never mentioned Jimmy Henchman's name in any interview or never said what Jimmy Henchman did on any song. He only said "Promise to pay back Jimmy Henchman in due time" on the song "Against All Odds", that's all Pac said.
I don't quite agree with Big being a rat if he told Tupac about who set him up. But if I recall the situation correctly, I understand why Big wouldn't tell him. When Biggie initially warned Tupac to stay away from Haitian Jack and those other dudes, didn't Tupac go running to them and tell them that Big told him not to hang around them? If THAT was the case then Big was RIGHT not to divulge anymore info to Tupac. It seems like it was yet ANOTHER situation where Tupac's big mouth got him into problems. Ngga loved the spotlight and cameras too much and loved making speeches. In fact, THAT is allegedly what ticked off one of Haitian Jack's dudes and got him hit at Quad Studios

Why Art keep tryna say Pac never implied that Biggie set him up? What he said in interviews before his passing is not the energy he was puttin out on videos in real time. Rap videos is what we gravitated to, you didn’t have TH-cam to see interview. Majority of the rap fans didn’t see the Sway & Vibe interviews until after his death in documentaries. In real time what y’al forgot about 2 Of Americaz Most Wanted where he had a fake Biggie & Puff & enacted the Scarface scene of when he was set up. What was the rap world suppose to think after that??? Then in Hit ‘Em Up, Pac is screaming who shot me but you punks didn’t finish. And an Outlaw said Frank White need to get spanked right for setting traps. Rap videos is what we were checking for not a radio interview in Oakland. How was the east coast gonna have insight about that in the non internet era??? The energy was Big had something to do with it until he cleared it up
Art is trying to change the narrative because at the end he knows Pac was dead wrong why do you think he keeps beating around a dead horse? For years is been known Pac painted Biggie as the person who had him set up, but since that has been proven false he wants to still blame Biggie for something so Pac dosent look bad
The whole set up narrative was out there first before Americas most wanted video tho. Biggie even states this in the mtv interview with him and Puff sitting on the couch together. This was when Pac was in jail. And Big specifically said, “ there’s rumors going around that we set Pac up”.
I always say Pac expected way too much out of a dude that he met only the year before. I find it funny that they were “friends” and then when the Quad thing happened all of a sudden Pac got all these criticisms of Biggie that he was holding back. Oh Biggie’s fake. He stole my style blah blah blah. So you was cool with hanging around this dude you thought was a huge faker and then turned the fickle fans against him homie? That’s goofy to me. He wants Biggie to go visit him in jail to talk about street business where the laws are monitoring the mail, phone calls AND visits? Pac won’t tell you Biggie hid his gun for him at the studio and tried to visit him in the hospital. One of the NOI members doing security said Biggie came to visit Pac and his mother at some secret location. He said it was just the three of them that talked amongst themselves discussing who knows what. I think Pac said in the VIBE interview he tried to go for one of the shooters guns and they popped him. Pac said in an interview that he didn’t want Biggie to ride on them but he wants to know who did it. My question is if he told you WHAT YOU GON DO with that information?🤔 You gonna go looking for them or are you gonna make another SONG? Henchmen and those guys don’t care about some dumb song saying eff them. They clapped that iron. GET REAL. Pac said himself “I know who touched me” ok then why make SONGS? Pac was dude that said he slept with Biggie’s wife and went on to make a diss record about it because he did that. This is the kinda guy we’re dealing with here. 100% agree - Art’s fanboy-ism is the worst part of his interviews lol… he finds compelling guests but all his questions are slanted to his Tupac obsession that it makes it hard to listen sometimes
Art you keep saying the same thing. He did imply that Big and Puff set him up in several songs and videos. Just because he tried to clean in up in an interview before he died, the damage was done. And BIG wasnt a detective, you think Henchmen told him, a young rapper what was about to go down. Pac mouth got him ran down on and he should have immediately knew who it was because he was just talking heavy to Henchmen on the phone. He used Biggie as a scapegoat
Really? That's where we at now? These dudes are doing this now? When did it become snitching to tell a dude who's supposed to be your friend, your mentor, even, to a certain extent; that the dudes who tried to kill him were such and such? It's becoming more and more clear to me that these dudes just didn't like Pac for whatever reason. I expect that from some East Coast dudes, but damn. B.I.G. died and didn't have to; we get that, but they can stop trying to put that on Pac. At this point, it's becoming clear who should be taking the heat for that.
Pac was overdoing the mentor stuff. Big was producing music with Puffy before he met Pac. They were cool Big didn't owe his career to Pac. Pac could come to nyc and Big wouldn't even know sometimes. Pac was in the wrong to attack Big. Bigs responses were reasonable given how much Pac was talking and what he was saying. Suge killed Big. Not Pac. It's hard to say Suge would have paid to kill Big if Pac hadn't wrongly made up a beef with Big.
Right, now the definition of snitching has changed because this is their way of keeping this shit going. The code was to not tell information to a federal agent. Now it’s directed at friends. 🤨

MC Eiht is stating facts on what's expected when you are part of street life. No one ever criticizes Suge for paying Baby Lane (the killer of Tupac) to testify on his behalf to keep him from going to jail. I still have a problem with that, even though Reggie Wright explained it as if they were giving the money to avoid a more significant lawsuit settlement. Still, in the end, Baby Lane testified on Suge's behalf, and he knew that this guy was the shooter that killed Tupac and wounded him. What street rule/law covers that BS? The Tupac supporters keep ignoring the facts and trying to rewrite history. Tupac got shot because he willingly participated in gang activity. He threw the first punch, returned to his hotel, and bragged about knocking a dude out. That dude, aka Baby Lane was a certified gang member (who had proven himself by putting in work). On The Makevelli CD, Tupac mentions by name who shot him at the Quad Studio, and I am pretty sure he knew that Big had nothing to do with it. If he was not signed to Death Row and given the false sense of security, that he was untouchable (because of the street guys providing security for Death Row), he would have not targeted Big as he did. Listen or read the interview that he did while he was in prison. He denounced thug life and was on a more positive vibe. Suge had an issue with Puff, and Tupac felt obligated to also have an issue with BadBoy (and everyone associated with Badboy) to prove his loyalty. That's my opinion, you may disagree, but those are the facts I see.
Suge said himself that Orlando didn't kill Tupac. Suge paid Orlando to say he didn't kick him. A lot of people get Suge mixed up with Buntry in that video. Bantry had on a white suit with a black hat, people thinks that is Suge.

B.I.G. died and didn't have to; we get that, but they can stop trying to put that on Pac. At this point, it's becoming clear who should be taking the heat for that.
Pac was overdoing the mentor stuff. Big was producing music with Puffy before he met Pac. They were cool Big didn't owe his career to Pac. Pac could come to nyc and Big wouldn't even know sometimes.

Notorious coward
@@RiccFBAexactly, dude is a cornball 😂😂😂
I feel Biggie not wanting to be involved or if you really don't know, that's fine.... the problem is dropping "Who Shot Ya?" afterwards...
That part , bad timing , just like going to LA after PAC passing. To soon
That’s the only thing I felt Big kinda did wrong. The song was written way before Pac got set up at Quad so if they planned on releasing it maybe making sure 2Pac knows it’s not about him while he’s in jail woulda helped a lil.
A song which had nothing to do with nothing. It’s on Pac for his own paranoia.
@@gbrazor true but I can understand why Pac would raise an eye brow hearing especially if biggie or puff didn’t let him know before they release it that its not abt him and was recorded way before the incident
It's one thing to raise an eyebrow. It's another thing to release a records that starts "that why I fcked your btch" before you even speak with him. Pac was out of jail and easily could have got Big on the phone if he wasn't paranoid and delusional before he made that song.
Eiht is tripping
I love pac but he’s major cap. Mike Tyson was one of his closest industry friends. Mike grew up with all those dudes from jail to the streets, Mike was from Brooklyn, Mike warned him too. Mike had his ear closer to the street than biggie and mike ain’t never told pac a thing and didn’t get involved.
Tupac was wrong bottom line. I think he was just jealous of biggie. Biggie was rising while pac was going thru it.
