      It's funny we change the definition of old words with a clear meaning of what it is, like a house or neighborhood. But the word "ghetto" was first used in 1516 in Venice, Italy, to describe the segregated neighborhood where the city's Jewish population was required to live. Same for what the word was used for in pre WW2 and during.

There is no such thing as instant change. Look at Colombia and how long it took to get rid of the deep rooted Narco hierarchy. It needs a village to raise a child. But as long as the entertainment sector keeps up the positive glorification of gangs and all what comes with it, the community won't distance itself from these structures. It's not only an economical issue, but as Boskoe said a mentality thing.

    The realest message I’ve heard on the internet. When will our youngsters wake up. They don’t even have a clue of what gangsta is. None of them. And I mean that word gangsta in a positive way. There’s a time and a place when you have to keep it gangsta. Great message Boskoe. You might need to start mentoring and speaking to groups of kids, bcuz they don’t know they’re head from they’re foot. Most of them.

      @idenjames7717 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I said that on a previous post and some niggas came at my neck over it. I never seen Jeff Bezos hanging out in Amazon parking lots, nip shouldn’t have been hanging out on the parking lot of the business he owns especially in the area it’s in.

    • @Android6Thousand
      @Android6Thousand ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Technically he shouldn't have but he gets more of a pass than pnb bc nip was from there. Nip understood the value of still being PRESENT to show his hood how to get out but still reach back. He was being an example and invested in his community and he knew the risk he was taking. Just leaving and never coming back would have added to the narrative of niggas leaving once they find success. Pnb on the other hand has no real reason to be at that roscoes let alone pullin up in a Maybach with 100k in jewelry, he's not from there nor is he invested in that community or any business over there. I only fault Nip for chillin in the lot so casually, he should have been on come thru the back entry low key whip type of time whenever he did come thru and strictly staying inside with some type of security. Gangbangin dont stop cuz you famous. Imagine how many times enemies rolled by while he was outside but didn’t do shit simply out of respect yet could have.

      @@Android6Thousand was that Roscoe’s in a bad neighborhood or something? I’m not from there so I don’t know what’s wrong with that Roscoe’s in particular. Is it a lot of crime in that area?

    • @Android6Thousand
      @Android6Thousand ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@CowKnees_ that roscoes specifically is the most dangerous roscoes location, most people that live over there dont even dine in there due to the violence in the area. There are like 5 roscoes in LA he coulda went to the one by LAX or Hollywood but that one on Manchester and main sits in a area that multiple notorious gangs patrol that are already beefing with each other. Gang culture in LA is a way of life its different than typical hood beef. It’s murder games and if you’re an unfamiliar face in the wrong area you will be addressed as a potential threat or treated like food in PNBs case.
