Yes. The colour of the river is gorgeous. No pollution , just pure water from glaciers of higher himalaya. This colour is called Turkish Blue (I think) and it is the same colour you could see in lakes of Switzerland. It's because of the fresh mountain glaciers. Btw , I think you could fly a drone in Coronation bridge , I saw one travel vlogger filming that and the footage look so incredible that it looks like islands of philippines a little bit. So nice. Try this in the way back.
Other than desert West Bengal has almost every thing like hills, Mountains, river, sea, plateau ,biggest Delta forest in the world, the famous Royal Bengal tiger even u could see snow fall in Darjeeling.

Thanks for uploading!! As you crossed the coronation bridge over Teestha river, the junction is very beautiful to take picture!! One side you go to Darjeeling and the other to Sikkim. Sikkim acceded to India in 1975(?), because became un-manageable due to differences within kings inner circle, leading to request to Govt of India to take control. I am surprised that they maintain inner line permit to visit Sikkim!! May be they want to to avoid large scale migration (particularly illegal migration from Bangladesh which is uncontrollable because of VERY CORRUPT INDIAN BORDER SECURITY AGENCIES AND LOCAL BENGALI POLITICIANS!). Darjeeling is having its own culture and beautiful place!!. Because there is no restriction to travel, illegal immigrants have almost spoilt the place!!!? INDIA / BHARAT AS A NATION IS PAYING HEAVY PRICE BECAUSE OF NEXUS BETWEEN VERY CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND EQUALLY CORRUPT BORDER SECURITY OFFICIALS, AND VERY CORRUPT BUREAUCRATIC SET UP INCLUDING JUDICIARY IN THOSE STATES!! ONLY RECENTLY, ASSAM HAS WOKEN UP TO REALITIES AND THINGS ARE GRADUALLY IMPROVING THERE!!
Sikkim has special status in India i guess so all those permits are there. Kashmir and Sikkim had some special privileges now only Sikkim has them. Don't know about exact details on it though. 7 sisters are too good as much i have heard, excited to see them through your vlogs. Do visit other beautiful places like Andaman, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Kerala etc. You will see completely different India, very very calm, pollution free and many more good things.
Small info brother, that river teesta once used to be border of east nepal for some period in history, mighty gorkhali soldier had expanded the territory of Nepal till teesta river before Anglo-gorkha war where it was all lost and have maintained mechi river as eastern border of Nepal ever since.

what they mean by being a parent to a wild animal is that you taking care of expenses for raising that animal, including food, shelter, injury treatment etc😊
The permit that you are referring to is called the Inner Line Permit. Everybody, including Indians from other states, need the ILP to enter 6 of the seven NE states. Indians cannot settle there nor can they buy land nor get a job. Much like Article 370 in Jammu Kashmir, but this system most Indians are not aware of. India does not talk much about the ILP because citizens will start comparing that with Article 370 restrictions.

It's the chicken neck of India very close to china so obviously for security purposes
As a kid in early 1970s, I recall we used to take a rope suspension bridge over teesta to go to Sikkim. Is it still there ?
I stay some kms near the area of coronation bridge. All they’re saying is utter bs. You can fly drones in there.
