I'm from India and I completely understand the Nepali sentiment of not wanting to be clubbed under "Indian" food. Nepal and Bhutan have such beautifully distinct Himalayan cultures. Lovely, warm, hard working, enterprising people. Plus the jhol momos and lai sak are the bomb
Even Indian food is pretty diverse, each state has multiple cuisines. But for ease of outsiders and westerners all the countries in SE call it Indian food with their country's variations. Even in the last video about Nepal, they mention how they need to add Indian tag for sales which is necessary
People confuse Nepal with only Momos ! Nepal’s foods are so diverse same as their population ! Some Nepali look like Chinese ( no offense though), while others look like Indian ( Bihari) and some others like Punjabis and Haryanvi

So interesting how in one restaurant you’re eating with your hands, the. At the next with a fork and spoon, and at the next with chopsticks. Nepal seems so interesting; what a melting pot of culture!! I’d love to visit one day.
The LaPhing and Thukpa we get here in Tibetan restaurants are mostly soup based. I have had Dry thukpa before though. East and North East and part of south India have more pork in the diet. I am glad you chose to cover Nepal, such a beautiful and diverse country.
Well the laphing comes in two different varieties, dry and soup based. Also, thukpa is any noodles served with soup. The one shown here isn’t called thukpa but tenthuk (not sure about the spelling), and it's not soup based, also known as keema noodles. (Keema simply means ground meat). Chowmein is noodles that's stir fried in wok with vegetables and meat of your choice which you can usually find in North India. Thank you for your query. Cheers!

Manjita was a awesome cohost. Hope we can see her again. That was a nice and funny energy in this episode. What a great country. Greetings from Germany.
Yea she was awesome
So interesting how in one restaurant you’re eating with your hands, the. At the next with a fork and spoon, and at the next with chopsticks. Nepal seems so interesting; what a melting pot of culture!! I’d love to visit one day.
Welcome to Nepall
Sister presented quite lovingly thank you for visiting brother Nepal 🇳🇵 ❤
Cheers!
This is why Sonny is so good at what he does. He always looks at things from the cultures perspective. Even when he doesn't exactly agree with things he still understands and respects it.
Thank you Sonny for inspiring and helping me to create cool travel videos, it helped me boosting up my travel page to over 1k sub finally

right. She is guiding him great

Just that she has no idea about India. Best is to stop asking her questions about India.
I agree!! She is awesome and matches his humor so well
The girl's communication skills and confidence was spot on and she was funny too

As a nepali person, i love india and its cuisine, and i think ours goes well with theirs, but they are both different aswell, and that makes a difference between them.
Sonny, once again, you killed it! What an amazing country. The food looked amazing! Manjita is beautiful AND hilarious! She cracked me up when Sonny stole her food, and I love how the girls in the MoMo shop didn’t know what to think with Sonny and his ‘Namaste.’ 😂 Thank you BEFRS for sharing the food and the customs of Nepal. As a northeast Indian, I can vouch for Nepali food. One of the best cuisine. I'm very impressed with how much variety in finger food Nepal has. The fusion of dishes from so many ethnicities is astounding. Their BBQ looks so yummy 😋.
It doesnt remind me of chinese food in any way though. Just tibetan Indian and obviously nepali influences.
