Hey Pier, When heading back from Pasighat go through Roing, Tezu, Namsai, Tinsukia then Dibrugarh. You’ll really enjoy the roads. As such you’ll be going through Dibrugarh, unless you plan to go back the same route through Tezpur again.

it happens only in india, I m half uttrakhandi and half arunachali cz i was born and bought up in arunachal pradesh, must tell you how welcoming they are, humble and grounded. You wont find anywhere except arunachal pradesh.

The road work in this region is going on for ages. This is never ending process in Arunachal Pradesh. The road condition is going to worse from Aalo to mechuka. But Mechuka is like heaven on earth. Worth visiting. You can see many water falls on the way. A great and brave decision to visit this hidden gem.

Fall season is better for travelling these region, during rainy season most of these region go through road blocks due to landslide and flood for weeks. road to mechuka will probably be more harsh..safe travels.
I can see that you always enjoy driving near the stiff side of the hilly off road. But brother, you should be careful because they are lots n lots of landslide during the rainy 🌧 season. If you want to enjoy the beauty of nature, then stop for a second and enjoy nature. But better don't drive near the stiff side of the road. Have a great biking exploration and best wishes. 🙏🙏🙏

Road construction seems to be picking up pace in North-East. Maybe in a few years the roads will be better.
